Come Away With Me by Norah Jones

This is the perfect album to listen to when it's pouring rain outside on a crisp fall afternoon while drinking tea. Feet propped on the settee and your faithful friend Nico is laying by your feet lounging as you are. You can never go wrong with Norah Jones.

Moby Grape by Moby Grape

Honestly felt like all the songs sounded the same, there was nothing unique or distinctive about Moby Grapes' sound.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters by Fiona Apple

I Want You To Love Me is the perfect song to open this album, I was halfway in love right from the start. Despite the obvious way she uses instruments and background noises, for me what caught my ear the most was the lyrics of the songs. Alot of very personal and emotional lyrics went into this album and I loved it! Standout songs: I Want You To Love Me, Under The Table, Heavy Balloon, For Her

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Apr 14 2022

Rating: 2/5 Not a fan of Iggy Pop's style, maybe because the pop-punk subgenre isn't my forte normally. I didn't completely hate the album, just not something I would ever pick up again. Stand Out Song(s): Some Weird Sin, The Passenger

Sea Change by Beck
Apr 15 2022

First time listening to Beck and this was the perfect album to start with. Despite it being one of his most personal albums, I enjoyed the variety of styles Beck used on this album. He might not be an artist I will listen to often but definitely made an impression on me. Stand Out Songs: Lonesome Tears, Little One

Songs From A Room by Leonard Cohen
Apr 16 2022

A few songs in and I wasn't feeling this album. Shame since I've been looking forward to listen to more songs by Leonard Cohen.

All Mod Cons by The Jam
Apr 16 2022

Not a fan of this band or album. The songs were boring and I found myself skipping halfway through each one.

American Idiot by Green Day
Apr 17 2022

As someone who has only listened to this album by Green Day, I was ecstatic to see this for today. What a classic album! Takes me back to the 2004 era when I would hear WMUWSE on the radio and on Tv shows. It was a fun ride hearing fave songs and rediscovering the joy that is "Homecoming," what a fun song to listen to. All-in-all, the best album I've listened to so far on this journey. Stand out Songs: American Idiot, Holiday/Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Are We The Waiting, Wake Me Up When September Ends, Homecoming.

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Apr 18 2022

Sorry, Bob Dylan, I just can't get into your music...got halfway through the album and couldn't continue because of how boring the album is to me.

All Directions by The Temptations
Apr 19 2022

First time listening to a full album by The Temptations, to say I enjoyed what I heard is an understatement. The boys are smooth. I'm pinching myself for never taking the time to appreciate their music beyond "My Girl."

Moby Grape by Moby Grape
Apr 20 2022

Honestly felt like all the songs sounded the same, there was nothing unique or distinctive about Moby Grapes' sound.

Frampton Comes Alive by Peter Frampton
Apr 21 2022

If I hadn't listened to this live album, I would have rated it much lower. However, listening to this album live, I understood Frampton as an artist and why he's so loved. "Do You Feel Like We Do" is 14 minutes of the guitar having its shine and let's also talk about "Jumping Jack Flash" which was a fun song to get just a glimpse of what it was like to see Frampton live. Thanks to the generator for letting me finally hear Peter Frampton and actually enjoy it. Standout songs: All I Want To Be (Is By Your Side), Jumping Jack Flash, Do You Feel Like We Do, Shine On.

The Infotainment Scan by The Fall
Apr 22 2022

I'm starting to see that I like specific subgenres of punk. Grunge-punk & pop-punk seem to be the only ones I can listen to multiple times with no issue (The Clash, My Chemical Romance, Nirvana). Post-punk can be a bit of a headache to listen to (for me), that being said, I didn't mind this album. The further I got through the album, the more I enjoyed it! Style wise I thought this would be a straight punk record - but it's a mixture of different rock sounds, sometimes it sounds electronic, and other times alternative. At times, it sounded like the stylistic sound Muse is known for in parts (electronic rock maybe...?) Standout songs: It's a Curse, Glam Racket, Service, Past Gone Mad, Lights/Fireworks

Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
Apr 23 2022

This is my 2nd Leonard Cohen album and I'm sorry Leonard, but I can't stand your music. Recently listened to Lou Reed/Velvet Underground and came to the realization that I absolutely LOATHE sing-songy artists. And unfortunately, Cohen does that a ton on this album. I could only take listening halfway through each song and sighed with relief once the last song played. Please for gods' sake generator, don't give me ANY MORE LEONARD COHEN ALBUMS!!!

Achtung Baby by U2
Apr 25 2022

I’ve listened to a U2 song aeons ago and quite frankly couldn’t tell you what it was. That’s how abysmal that song was for me and also how I feel about this album. Unmemorable.

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Apr 28 2022

First time listening to Elliot Smith, was not a bad experience, but one I wouldn't be super thrilled to listen to again. Standout songs: Junk Bond Trader, In The Lost & Found (Honky Bach)/The Roost

Shadowland by k.d. lang
Apr 29 2022

Country music...no thank you!

Fetch The Bolt Cutters by Fiona Apple
Apr 30 2022

I Want You To Love Me is the perfect song to open this album, I was halfway in love right from the start. Despite the obvious way she uses instruments and background noises, for me what caught my ear the most was the lyrics of the songs. Alot of very personal and emotional lyrics went into this album and I loved it! Standout songs: I Want You To Love Me, Under The Table, Heavy Balloon, For Her

Be by Common

Standout songs: Testify, Love Is..., It's Your World

Loveless by My Bloody Valentine
May 05 2022
Tommy by The Who
May 07 2022
May 10 2022

Listening to the full album, I've come to the realization that I only like Oasis in small doses at a time. Their music can be such an ear sore and only enjoyed listening to "Wonderwall" and "Champagne Supernova."

Come Away With Me by Norah Jones
May 11 2022

This is the perfect album to listen to when it's pouring rain outside on a crisp fall afternoon while drinking tea. Feet propped on the settee and your faithful friend Nico is laying by your feet lounging as you are. You can never go wrong with Norah Jones.

Rubber Soul by Beatles
May 12 2022

Will admit I know a bit more about the Beatle's personal life than their music, despite learning to play Hey Jude as my first contemporary song on the piano, and so it's been a journey listening to their albums. Revolver is my favorite album and now Rubber Soul is my second. Such a fun and experimental album compared to songs like ‘Help” or “Hey Jude.” Standout Songs: Drive My Car, Michelle, You Won't See Me

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
May 13 2022

What an exciting album to listen to! The use of various instruments such as horns was a nice surprise. Will be listening to more of her music in the future. Standout Songs: Tightrope, Faster, Cold War

Closer by Joy Division
May 14 2022

Nope nope nope. Here we are 5 years later & I still dislike Joy Division.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
May 15 2022

Standout Songs: Immigrant Song, Since I've Been Loving You, Tangerine, Hats odd To (Roy) Harper

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
May 16 2022

Suburban hip-hop is the best way to explain what I just listened to. It was chaotic and had a similar feel to Run DMC. I enjoyed it!

Suede by Suede
May 19 2022
The Idiot by Iggy Pop
May 20 2022

Hate Iggy Pop!

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
May 26 2022
