1001 Albums Summary

Not a big rap fan but found this more accessible then most of the newer rap I accidentally hear blasting out of people's car windows.

Great album...I saw Blondie 45 years ago in 1979 at outdoor venue the Pinecrest in Shelton Ct. Ian Hunter and Mick Ronson were the opening act! Those were the days...

Can't go wrong with early Elvis.

Read about them ...but this was the 1st time I heard them.

Heard this album in my early 30's ... 20 years after it was released...still sticks with me into into my 60's ...

Don't hate it ..but have to be in the mood

One of my favorite Bowie albums of all time. Another direction change that would lead to the Berlin Trilogy with Eno. The start of the electronic experimentation.

I always thought of Green Day as a watered down Clash. But I grew up with the Clash.

Genesis at their very best. Gabriel's tale of Puerto Rican street punk Rael in NYC is timeless. If I had to choose one album to take on a desert island ...this is the one!
