The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
Lauryn HillAmazing, generation-defining album.
Amazing, generation-defining album.
Really good. Some great songs. Drags at some points.
So good. So easy to listen to. Really solid album.
Amazing, generation-defining album.
Solid, but not earth shattering.
It’s good. I recognize and remember it’s importance, but just don’t like it that much.
It’s good. Holds up well. Has some great songs. But is definitely an acquired taste.
I understand why people like it, but it just doesn’t do it for me.
Really good album all around.
There was nothing about this album that would make me think it belongs on this list. It was very normal. Nothing exceptional about it at all.
It was good, but not memorable.
Did not grab me at all.
Really good, but begins to drag by the end
Not sure how this album made it on this list.
Good. Not earth shattering. Got tired of it by the end.
Could barely get through the first few songs
Awesome stuff.
Absolutely iconic album. I don’t know even like the Ramones that much, but this album has so many great songs.
Did not like. Just annoyed me.
One of the best albums ever made
Solid stuff. Not mind blowing.
It’s good, but not blow your mind good.
One of the best hip hop albums of all time. Truly groundbreaking in its style and music. So many exceptional tracks. So many phenomenal guest artists. Kanye is a bit nuts now, but that album will forever stand the test of time.
I love Paul Simon, but did not love this album. Was middle of the road for me.
It’s great. Some true masterpieces. But not all time awesome
Not my kind of music. Not sure how it made its way onto this list.
It’s great, but stressful to listen to.
Lots of recognizable songs and pretty good.
The album lives up to its name. Lots of energy. A bit too wild for me, but undeniably good.
I understand how important Brian Eno is, I just don’t like his music that much.
Good stuff. All solid songs. Some great ones.
I liked it a lot more than I expected. Really good album.
It’s fine. But just that. Fine. Maybe I’m missing something. But it didn’t seem at all special to me.
Such an amazing album. Captured the moment. Still relevant. Every song a pleasure to listen to.
Best album of a generational band. Definitely holds up.
Really good. Some great songs. Drags at some points.
Very good. Much better than what I was expecting.
I like Rufus Wainwright. I did not like this album. It was tedious, whiny, and boring.
Pretty flawless, but also not groundbreaking in any sense. Not for me at least.
A couple of really good songs. But the rest is just so annoying.
I just couldn’t see the appeal. None of it resonated with me.
It was good. I see why people love it. But you have to be the right person and in the right mood.
Pretty awesome stuff. Will go down as a classic and genre-creating band and album.
Nothing about this grabbed me. It was just meh
It’s good, but dated.
Solid album
So, so good. Hard to believe it was their first album. Totally new stuff. Not 100% sure it will still be relevant 25yrs from now though.
Nothing about this appealed to me. It’s beyond me how this artist and album could possibly make it onto this list. Not only was the music not my taste, but it was utterly generic. It sounded like the same thing everyone else was doing at the time.
So incredibly good. Every second of it.
Such an incredible album. All the more impressive that it came so late in his career. Few artists put out seminal works 50+ years into their careers.
It’s good. Not great.
It’s good. Nothing wrong with it. Nothing amazing about it.
I get why people like it, but it’s just not my kind of music.
Such a cool album. A few songs stick out as great, most just float past pleasantly in the ear.
It’s ok. Nothing great for me. Nothing bad. Just ok.
No. On every level, this is music in ever have and never will like. I fully do not get the appeal.
Better than I expected
So good. So easy to listen to. Really solid album.
Excellent album. So many hits.
Not good.
Ok be of my favorite albums. It’s terrific.
It’s good. A little dated, but still good.
It’s good, but it grinds after a while. Also, not even the best Yeah Yeah Yeahs album. That would be “Its’s Blitz!”
So incredibly good. Hard to believe all these songs are on one album.
Pleasant to listen to, but not gripping.
Good. Not killer.
It did nothing for me.
It’s really good, but somehow not as good as I remembered. I wanted it to be better.
It’s undeniably good. But you need to be in the mood.
So incredibly good. One of the best albums ever made.
Incredible album.
Hated it. Everything that was wrong with the 80’s. Nothing about this was good.
Still really good, but a bit dated.
So incredibly good
Similar to other 80’s/90’s music in this genre, it’s just crap.
Not sure why or how it’s on this list
