30 yrs after the 1996 debut, the height of my new found curiousity w ph I had nver heard it in it's entirety.....loved it, way ahead of it's time.
never heard of them, two lead singes, male/female preferred the male's EMO songs. added empty nest to playlist - ok, empty nest song starred
liability and first track were catchy....don't know if this album put her on the map or not but would be happy w strong effort

I’ve heard the album in its entirety twice LIVE
Super innovative, operatic, wouldn’t play again but the effort is respected
classic rock before the disco. didn’t find anything to be memorable or playlist worthy

Not my cup of tea but hetty effort, going out west ..I prefer his latter efforts …good listen!
Spotify didn’t have album but listened to another w Woody Guthrie - Folk Music hero’s
never made unless it was BW …2004 effort, sounded like a money grab
his youthful voice shines,
the whole album i heard over FM radio growing up, hit after hit …
Electronic music, new my ears
wordy lyrics whole album, didn’t recognize any hits from that era. Glad to listen to it as intro to Tim’s Diner and Luka
Classic Stevie! Magnificent Album

unmistakeable 80’s band
Jesus Left Chicago and LaGrange super hits !

spotify didn’t have this is fats so I chose Fats is back a year after this album and who what a fun record, can NOT make you smile, Turn on Lovelight
Back to Life, Keep Moving were Freshman High school classics …rest of album was one note …triggered being a pimply faced teen :)
Respect the album is lengthy full of their unique sound. Pushed me into listening LIVE Sabbath
big bass lines, quirky lyrics surprised they didn’t get more air play in the early 80’s Very taking heads in the rythms British band didn’t make it here, sadly! Listened to it three times thru
Dark slow lyrically not my cup of tea currently, struggled to get through it
Had listened to it when it came out, triggered a bunch of unwanted relationship memories
Never heard one of the songs on the album, probably for good reason.
Debuted before Sex Pistols - were too much Bikers than Punks but IMO they ushered in the era…The trio was fun to get to know
Moody 80’s Didn’t move my needle much
Gaining respect for the who, Moon kills the drums whole album
Gimme shelter / Can’t always get what you need Open and End the album, monkey man is in there but felt the meat of the sandwich lacked spice
The juxtaposition of classical and metallica wasn’t lost on me just not music to my ears
Folk singer not my bag
1972 effort didn’t stack up with all the greats in IMO of the decade
Beck was a head of his time, album holds up 20 yrs later. He drips steez
I had to listen to it twice through to find its magnificent, Jonathan Richman sounds like a character. VU>modern Lovers > sex pistols influence …Loved it listened to a few other JR with ML albums
80-82 Set the tone for Brit Pop or that 80’s sound, fun listen!
Fun listen, great effort on number of selections…bad moon rising and green river classics
3-4 classics in this effort, loved the last track. thanks JT!
The album namesake didn’t move my needle, super moody record
Fun throw back to my high school years, never listened to it straight thru …NWA FTW
Aerosmith collab, it’s tricky we’re hughlights. seemed not much substance in lyrics, maybe a rushed effort studio execs
Break on thru, light my fire, back door man, this is the end …Rock n Roll at its finest. Not my cup of tea anymore but a nostalgic listen no doubt!
70’s classic rock that was one note, did NOT turn on my love light …
on the 45 45 …fun nostalgic listen late 90’s sound
with eric clapton….hmmm, first time listening and blues is just not my cup of tea. Pretty one note, listened to it twice through bc I couldnt find my phone
Did not relate to the advertised eccentric lyrics. i did hear the sparse quality that tucson dessert mimics. Won’t remember tmrw, sorry.
Two classics - Pfunk - Doobie Funk
Elvis left for RCA and Old Sun records in memphis picked up JLL. Until he married his 13 yr old cousin, he switched genres to country later on but supposedly he lived in the wilderness for a few yrs and then recorded this album. Full of energy and his hits …1965 22 min album or live show, ha
Hadn’t listened to it ever, P diddy on the tracks made me cringe, gangsta lyrics…Juicy was the only banger on effort
Baller Sitar musician plays others covers.
French is so sexy in rap songs, whole album was lyrical and flowed so well!
Indian music heavy on sitar meets EDM …Mercury award winner from Britain for this effort. Enjoyable listen
Mr Soul is classical rock and roll but rest of effort was more Folk rock which i found one note . Short lived band that helped develop the upcoming decades sound
It was so forced although I wasn’t in the gay clubs then so It might of been banging but I couldn’t help but cringe for her shot at staying relevant…
late 90’s electronic. Nice listen not my bag.
90’s rock n roll just sounds meh to me thus this album fall short to my ears
British Classic Rock …had some members of the Stones….considered harder than main stream. Influenced Pete Townsend. Mid to late 60’s …really nothing popped for me
wonderful album, and it stoned me to open it up, magnificent recording!
New to my ears, never heard of her …across the pond and never had another album …loved it, super energetic effort!
Last track held my attention, hero’s was the only FM hit …1977 wonder if the studios were pressing him to make album after album.
Album before Loaded, loved it, you could tell they were ahead of their time. Each ear had different vocals from Lou and one other male spitting verse …songs were folky compared to the electric hit laden Loaded. It made me go back and listen to their first album and then 72’s effort. Terrific addition for my ears!
The 90’s were so weird.. song about John Gotti. Repeated non sense in each song.
Natty dread talking blues no woman no cry am a do …hit after hit!
Had listened to it prior. Dark and dreamy whichnInthiught was interesting when it came out. Nice spin again
Girl Power Rap - Nice perspective from a female rapper. Laughed out load a few times, great effort!
Wow! What a stacked lineup on each track. Sounded Operatic. Was curious to hear each track and then thought i won’t remember them at all
Had no clue Clapton > Page > Beck as guitarists. Nothing jumped out, rooted in blues!
4 songs - 40min - just like the title says Ambient AF!
79’ debut set the tone for the next decade with dance music hit after hit …MJ Forever. 3 Years later Thriller breaks all the records
Thought one of the last out takes was the best cut. Not my bag , super avant gard or experimental to my ears
80’s soft punk, never heard and was glad to listen !
I researched NC career and he’s a prolific album creator but not for my ears. The operaesque flow isn’t kind to my ears
Early JB …had the teen girls howling every grunt and moan he sang. Early on, first band JB and the Famous Flames had him move to the front of the bands namesake.
All good people is a classic…hadn’t listened to them as Prog Rock kings but now hear all the intricate breaks and movements! Great debut effort
High school era, hits from the bong …could of waited another 30 yrs to revisit this effort
Mega - energy !!!
Super BLUE. You can hear her troubled life in each note. Genre defining artist!
Thundercat played Bass w Mac Miller a ton so familiar w him. Knew of album but never listened to it fully. Great effort for someone who’s known to say it never thought of putting out albums
Dave matthew’s appears My antonia …her voice is golden, the slower tempo and country esque lyrics didn’t move my needle.
After smooth operator opening I found new tracksto my ears. I heard why she had staying power. Will remember to play next time I’m making out :)
I’ve listened to two prior albums that were just hard tunisian to and rated poorly but this album mane was more polished later n their career …
Exceptional musicians create a HUGE sound! Makes me wanna dig more into …
Blistering the sun as well as a few others had this album overplayed in my lifetime. Great to revisit it one more time !
Never knew of it. Super bluesy on the numbers that weren’t hits. It’ll be played often :)
My ears disliked most tracks
6 songs 32 min don’t known what the heading was : one song rock n roll next ballad next …British Band beginning of the 70’s. Read they had a eccentric stage presence w mime face paint, etc
Sounded like a cover band, I read they were on the outskirts of the psychedelic SF sound bc their manager didn’t get along with -Bill Graham. They went to UK and did a British Invasion. Huh!
Straight up Electric Angry Energy Punk to its Core
Folky singer song writer vibes throughout. Desolate feel throughout the album IMO.
Influential in Punk Scene with fellow Detroit area band Stooges …Motor City 5
Not one radio hit, all same note IMO. Rock n roll .
College era album - super moody, blues rooted, Sweet Jane cover top shelf!
His voice is so velvety…enjoyed the listen!
Harmonies a bound!
dre and snoop! nuthin’ but a g thang!
Crack rock must have rang loud whe. album was made…multiple refs
Anything other than a 5 here would be an injustice. Taxman > Tmrw Never Knows ! Boom !
Very very very Pet shop boys sound
Prog rock pioneers…this album defined the genre to me !
4th RH album generator has given means finally found this effort to be cohesive and understandable !!

Her indie effort …hear why she’s a super star!
3 huge hits of my memory serves me well…defined th decade
Moody as growing up in OKlahoma
Really engaging effort…leveled up my expectations
Reknow bassist solo efforts WITH guests …surprisingly was cohesive and an interesting listen
Sound track coehisive-ness
Harmonies galore! Folk rock supremacy
Cringe 90’s music to my ears but see why it was so well received from that generation
1960 early rock n roll innocence
Instrumental Jazz Explorations
late 90’s Rock n Roll w a gem last somg
Not my fav of his works, 80’s synths maybe the culprit
Afro Beat goodness
Progressive tic at its finest …Ian Anderson on the flute ladies and gentelmen
All his albums had the same vibe, not mine
1978 debut - can her her mark on Bjork Really fantastic listen
Easy listen!
Post grunge Australian rock …not my bag and wouldn’t have made my top 1001
2000 album - late 90’s angst energy
Metal Punk at its finest!
Folky Striaght fwd Rock - heartache themes
Classic Rock, Classic Queen - Double Album Delight
Dated material but pours her heart int every verse!
Boooooo
Folk/Early Rock
Joy Division album had an energy that this one lacked. Not curious to rewind
African Unite!
Moody song writer vibes
Two albums released in 1977 …glad to have listened and added to my ear files
Was expecting banger after b …not this album IMO
Softer than I thought
Gin and Juice and so many other hits
1978 issued, never heard of them …early high energy punk except for slow ballad Getm-free adolescence (!)
All one note, don’t know if it was follow-up to paper planes
Prog rock - super operatic album start to finish. Two hit big songs I knew. Was a different cup of tea than i expected
Moody like i like it! Knew of them never did a full listen. Enjoyable
Never heard of her enjoyed the energy of her band
late 70’s effort, long spoke word segments cut into interesting decade music
Member of Krautrock band Can - solo effort, splendi musicianship with bent vocals
Band is so tight!
Bootilicious
Dark lyrics over interesting music
