Solid album, could have been 10/10 of it was a few songs shorter.
Great Album. A bit too wordy but would listen to again
This album is perfect. A bittersweet masterpiece and a very fitting end for David Bowie
Interesting, whimsical and even musically beautiful at times. The vocal delivery was a bit too performative at times but overall good all around
This album is great if you like being yelled at while listening to punk rock/new wave instrumentals in the background with quite possibly the worst sounding saxophone ever. That sounds harsh but I did enjoy it. This is one of those listen to once every few years type of albums. Warrior in Woolworths was my fave song mostly because the vocals were toned down and actually enjoyable
It had been long since I last heard this album. It was better than I remembered. Good stuff
An essential album for any Beatles fan and any music fan for that matter!
Love instrumental music! This will need more listening!
I don’t listen to Rap/Hip hop, I’m out of my depth. Some of the music was cool but was very repetitive and the rapping gets overwhelming quick
Great live album with outtakes that make it feel genuine and loose and a good time all around
This took me back to my days in high school. This album was everywhere, touched everything. As good now was it was then. Maybe a bit long but a must listent
Cool was born in 1957, still cool nearly 70 years later
An essential album for any music fan. It is one of the greatest albums, works of art, collaborative piece that has ever been made by mankind. A monumental achievement in every sense. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish.
Couldn’t get through this album, this was background music to me and I don’t care to go back, too damn long
I had no idea this band was so into religion. It was alright. Don’t love or hate it. It just is.
A pop punk classic, though also a bit long. Seems once the CD became the medium of choice bands were stuffing albums to the brim, why the label or producers were allowing this is beyond me. This could have been a 10/10 hasd it been shorter by 3-4 songs
What a wild ride!! Really loved this album, the eccentric sound and wild passages leading right into beautiful sections of sonic excellence
Great album to relax to. Will definitely listen again.
This one is going to take me a few days to listen to cause it’s 2 hours long but I’m enjoying so far
This album changed music forever. 55 years later there is still nothing like it in the world. The Jimi Hendrix Experience is something we we’ll never see the like of ever again. I for one am happy to have lived in a place and time where I can appreciate it. What an amazing trip through sound!
Didn’t think I would like this but they’re much better live than in studio
Cool stuff, time to explore the bands other albums
A classic album. A portent of things to come
I will need to revisit this album
Highly overrated. I’ve listened to this album before and didn’t like it. I dreaded having to listen to it again. It was such a chore
I don’t know what it is about the Foo Fighters that just doesn’t hit like other bands doo. It’s like there’s something missing but I can’t put my finger on it. The music isn’t bad, I just can’t get into it.
Generic 90’s alt-song, something safe and boring, generic 90’s alt-song, something from Seattle??
Weird how most albums from the 70’s still sound amazing but a lot from the 80’s sounds dated. Unfortunately this album falls in the latter category, I don’t like a lot of 80’s music much for that reason alone. All the music sounds cheesy and corny and this album is full to the brim with cheese. If I look past the 80’s production, the songs are alright. I enjoyed it but the sounds made me suffer from vicarious embarrassment haha
These songs always remind me of driving through town on weekend mornings with my ex-girlfriends family, K-Earth 101 playing through the old stereo in her step-dads car, this was around 2003, good times.
The very definition of classic rock. Not huge on Aerosmith but an enjoyable listen
F*cking solid! I don’t have this on vinyl but I will soon.
Sometimes it felt like Bob Dylan, other times it was country as heck. Quite enjoyable
Alt rock at its finest. I cannot stress how influential this band has been on my own music. Love it.
That this was released in 1975 is absolute insanity. I can hear so much that influence grunge bands from Washington in the 80s, mostly Mudhoney, and beyond, this is a legendary album.
This was better than that twisted fantasy album. If I ignore the rapping the music was more interesting but still repetitive
I’ve always thought of Tom Petty as generic classic rock. Stuff the whole family can enjoy if the whole family has no real interest in music, just want the background noise. It’s not bad but it’s certainly forgettable only seconds after a song or the album is over
I don’t like the sound of 80’s pop production. The album was mostly tough to get through, up until the last three songs. Fucking bangers. Though I would not listen to as a whole ever again
The chillest. Need more music like this
Neat collection of covers by a legend of country and music in general
This is a sample pack as an album. Good in short clips and has been used commercially to great effect. 90’s viral music
Was not expecting this from the kinks. Quite enjoyable, a bit forgettable though
I’ve been learning French for months now so this was a treat, I’m still very new but I was able to pick up a few phrases. All that aside this was an enjoyable listen
An essential 90’s album. Blending soul, R&B and rap into a concept album and production that feels timeless
I thought I would have liked this more based solely on the fact that this album is from 1969 one of the greatest years from music in history, but it was just OK. Underwhelming.
Already listening to it again!! So good!
This was kinda enjoyable, can’t really remember any of the songs though. Would I listen to it again? No
I can’t get into this band, my mind and my body are indifferent.
A collection of great songs but way too fucking long. This is getting a three for that reason alone
Aside from the singles this album is 100% nu metal cringe. From the lyrics to the rapping, I honestly have no idea how this album made it on this list
I wish I could listen to this album while riding a horse through a western desert town with my gun at my side. It’s a vibe
Led Zeppelin saved my life 9 times. They also released 9 albums, coincidence? I think not!! This album is perfect from the first note to the last
Always a good listen. It doesn’t sound like much now but at the time this was groundbreaking stuff.
This was background music. Nothing more to say.
So many different sounds in this album, blending genres on every track and doing it well. Quite and enjoyable listen
Slash deserved to be in a better band. If I could delete a song from history it would be Sweet Child O’ Mine, otherwise this is a decent album if you’re in the mood for hard rock
Solid album with some great guitar riffs, “I’m shakin’” is a banger
Can’t imagine the rampant homophobia on this album aged all that well. “It was a different time” sure grandma, let’s get you to bed. Like most rap albums I’ve encountered it’s too fucking long. I hope Eminem has seen someone about his anger issues and is in a better place now.
The first disc was a slog, disc 2 though was pretty damn good, this should have been released as two separate albums cause collectively it was TOO LONG!!
This was my first experience listening to a Cure album all the way through and it was great. Looking forward to their other albums
This started off cool but got old quick. From the repetitive beats to Chuck D’s monotone voice, by the end of the album I wanted to cut off my ears. One song blended into another and it grew tiresome and again why does every rap album need to go for so long?
It’s folky, it’s soothing, reminds me of fantasy and that’s a huge comfort zone for me. Loved it
Some good tunes but Van’s vocal style becomes overbearing on a few tracks, almost to the point of being unlistenable
I didn’t think I would like this but here we are. A little bit of background, I was in high school when this album released, it was everywhere, I didn’t give it a chance back then because I didn’t like either of the singles, I still don’t like them much, i don’t think they’re a good representation of the album as a whole but that’s just me. This is by no means an essential album for me now, just wanted to state that it was better than I expected.
This turned into background music quickly, the only track that caught my attention was their rendition of In The Pines. That was neat.
Another rap album, at least this one didn’t overstay its welcome. Some tracks were good but still musically repetitive. I don’t know if a version of rap exists out there for me but I’m hopeful
So this is where that baby talk singing came form huh? Her version isn’t as annoying as other but it got really distracting at times
Rockin’ good tunes. Will be listening to again
I don’t remember much from it but I also don’t hate it.
This was my first time listening to a smiths album, very moody and lyrics that make total sense when I think about articles that have stated that Morrissey is a huge cunt. I quite enjoyed it though haha
I wasn’t in the mood for moody music, I did like some of the songs though, the radio hit kind of annoyed me cause it’s so overplayed. Maybe the next cute album will find me in the right mood
