Nice
Comes in hot then takes a bit of a victory lap
The best songs
I wish I could give it 6 stars
Wildly diverse: songs range from so bad it's good (I'm In Love With My Car) to so good it's bad (Bohemian Rhapsody). Death On Two Legs is an all-timer as far as album openings go.
Delightful
Tasty jams and solid songwriting. Nice break with Crazy Love, much needed what with all the Van-ness of the rest of it.
Gripping opener with the double bass, something you couldn't get away with today. Nice songs throughout and a powerful message for the time
White nice
A man who sounded 80 as a 20 year old, as an 80 year old
At least one of the songs is good
Such weird music... so cool
Ambitious
Like any Bowie album, full of wonder and melodic/harmonic intrigue. Just not his best
Didn’t think I’d like this album so much. No wonder it’s on so many of these lists
Some fun stuff in here, just not for me
Technically masterful, unashamedly quirky
AAAAAAAAHHlmost perfect
Classic
Love the band, but not sure why I needed to hear this before I die
One of their best albums for sure
Thank you world for providing me with this one star album. Listening to this album was like watching a gruesome horror movie, only without the thrills
OK Robert
An all-timer for me, honestly. I dig the theatricality tempered with intense musicianship
This is a classic for sure. Detroit energy to the max. Just not a fan of the sound quality
All-timer of a live album, solid playing all around and a decent mix
Berry Gordy must have been so mad when he got back from LA and heard this
This is one of my favorites for sure
It's fine. Nice sound mix, but a little bland after awhile
Billy Joel lite delivers a montage of vaudeville-esque piano stylings. This album would be 2 stars if the orchestration wasn't so exquisite, and 4 stars if he knew how to properly end a song.
