Funeral by Arcade Fire

It was awful, boring, and so mediocre that I simply couldn't understand what this album was doing on this list.

Stankonia by OutKast
Jan 14 2026

3 songs saved (ms. Jackson, so fresh so clean, red velvet). Others are so so

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Jan 15 2026

This is very mediocre music. It feels like I've heard it a million times before. The sound is very ordinary, and there's nothing special about the lyrics, music, or vocals.

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Jan 19 2026

At first, I thought it was good, pleasant music. But in the second half of the album, there was a lot of psychedelia, and the song Waking The Witch made me feel physically uncomfortable, so much so that I couldn't even listen to it to the end.

Smash by The Offspring
Jan 20 2026

meh... just the same songs for 45 minutes, boring.

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Jan 21 2026

It was awful, boring, and so mediocre that I simply couldn't understand what this album was doing on this list.

Heaux Tales by Jazmine Sullivan
Jan 22 2026

ok. but this genre is just not my thing at all

Duck Rock by Malcolm McLaren
Jan 23 2026

wtf was that

Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Jan 26 2026

Damn. For reasons unknown to me, I had never been familiar with Neil Young's work before. And what an amazing discovery it is. The vocals and guitar playing are both excellent. Incredibly good, especially for 1969.

From Elvis In Memphis by Elvis Presley
Jan 28 2026

It's interesting in places, but I really don't like Elvis's vocals. I still don't understand why he became so famous. Just ordinary love songs without any special features.

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Jan 29 2026

The music and genre are quite outdated for me. But the voice is very good.

Astral Weeks by Van Morrison
Jan 30 2026

It's pretty dark, but the music is interesting. I don't like the vocals.

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Feb 03 2026

I feel a sense of calm and indifference to all problems when I listen to this album.

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Feb 04 2026

jet another jazz

Arrival by ABBA
Feb 06 2026

well... this is abba. Pretty good

xx by The xx
Feb 09 2026

I like it not so much for the music, but for the feeling of nostalgia that this album gives me.

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Feb 10 2026

I liked how the album started and how it smoothly transitioned into blues. Very interesting work.

Justified by Justin Timberlake
Feb 11 2026

Well... No, thanks

Sulk by The Associates
Feb 12 2026

awful and boring

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Feb 17 2026

Good, but I like the previous album more (with the band)

It's A Shame About Ray by The Lemonheads
Feb 18 2026

Ordinary alternative rock, not too bad, but nothing memorable either.

The Poet by Bobby Womack
Feb 19 2026

Meh. What is this? Fusion, funk? Not for me unfortunately

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Feb 23 2026

Excellent music and vocals. Simply incredible for its time.

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Feb 24 2026

It's okay, but most of it isn't to my taste.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Feb 27 2026

Nice guitar and nice songs

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Mar 02 2026

It sounds like a famous old rock but I've never heard about this band. Not bad actually

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Mar 03 2026

An amazing discovery. Excellent old-school sound, interesting hip hop, with heavy guitar riffs in places. In 2026, it still sounds lively.

Vento De Maio by Elis Regina
Mar 04 2026

Overall okay, but it sounds like the opening themes in TV series.

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Mar 05 2026

This is just awesome. Real heavy grunge.

Celebrity Skin by Hole
Mar 06 2026

Excellent female pop rock. Sounds very familiar, but high quality.

Kid A by Radiohead
Mar 09 2026

I never liked Radiohead, and now I remember why.

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Mar 10 2026

It's not Beatles, but still good

Mar 12 2026

Not bad, but the other songs aren't as good as Take on Me.

Fishscale by Ghostface Killah
Mar 13 2026

The real hip hop

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Mar 17 2026

For its time, it really was fresh and progressive music, but now I only like a couple of the tracks. I guess trip-hop just isn't my thing

Stripped by Christina Aguilera
Mar 18 2026

Good vocals and decent music

Fred Neil by Fred Neil
Mar 19 2026

It's okay, but very boring

Exile In Guyville by Liz Phair
Mar 20 2026

It sounds normal, a bit melancholic. I wasn't too keen on the vocals, but overall it's okay.

21 by Adele
Mar 23 2026

nice, but too epic

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Mar 24 2026

It has a great atmosphere, with some very bluesy moments, and Jagger's vocals are indescribable

Fromohio by fIREHOSE
Mar 25 2026

I don't know why, but in places it reminded me of the early Red Hot Chili Peppers. Though without the Red Hot Chili Peppers' talent.

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Mar 30 2026

Just more of the same old jazz—I'm sick of it; it sounds just like any other jazz from back then

Graceland by Paul Simon
Apr 01 2026

I didn't get it at all, it's some kind of experimental music where sometimes the lyrics are just spoken rather than sing.

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Apr 02 2026

Interesting and funky

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Apr 06 2026

This is some kind of nightmare. Sure, Metallica has a couple of popular and cool songs. But when you start listening to their albums in their entirety—it’s just THE SAME SONG playing over and over and over again. I just can’t tell if a new one has started or if the old one is still playing. They’re all exactly the same. And on top of that, they’re all equally boring. The same old tricks, the same song style, pointless solos thrown in at random moments. I really don’t get what’s so popular about this. Maybe it sounded fresh in the ’80s, but now it sounds awful and boring.

Moving Pictures by Rush
Apr 07 2026

The music is interesting and quite progressive. And the vocals are very memorable. However, by the end of the album, the music started to get repetitive, and the very long tracks were hard to listen to.

Apr 13 2026

Very uplifting and energetic music. It really lifts your spirits and gives you a sense of calm.

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Apr 14 2026

The man speaks the words in a very sad voice, accompanied by sad music.

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Apr 15 2026

Just another jazz piece with saxophone.

The Bends by Radiohead
Apr 16 2026

It’s really strange, but I used to think I didn’t like Radiohead. I was especially convinced of this after coming across their 2000 album *Kid A*, which I found absolutely awful. However, this album is a completely different experience. It turns out that Radiohead used to make really good music (which reminds me a lot of Oasis or the Stereophonics). All in all, this album gets a solid 5, and it’s a real shame that the band went off in the wrong direction after that.

Reign In Blood by Slayer
Apr 17 2026

Unfortunately, I just don't get this genre of rock. It's more like a headache than music.

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Apr 20 2026

I used to like one song ("Money Tree"), and I thought the album would be similar... But no, I didn't like it

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Apr 22 2026

What a surprise find for me! Cool, energetic rock. Great music and vocals. They sound like so many other bands at once, which makes them sound even cooler.

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Apr 23 2026

10 out of 10. rhythmic hard blues, pure music to the ears

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
Apr 24 2026

I did'n understand wtf was that

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Apr 27 2026

It's interesting and has a bluesy vibe, but I was expecting more

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Apr 28 2026

Well... the music isn't bad; it's pretty epic in places

McCartney by Paul McCartney
Apr 29 2026

A very experimental album. Country, blues, and interesting vocals

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
May 01 2026

I've never understood Depeche Mode, and I probably never will. It's just such a dreary, boring thing, with an unbelievable amount of hype.

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
May 04 2026

A great, vibe-filled album, a true classic

May 05 2026

It's a decent album, but there's just nothing here that interests me. It sounds like a lot of other stuff in this genre.

Bright Flight by Silver Jews
May 06 2026

Um... a guy with no obvious talent or singing voice is trying to sing sad songs. I have absolutely no idea how this ended up on this list.

Drunk by Thundercat
May 07 2026

wtf was that

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
May 11 2026

Not bad at all, especially considering it's 1972. And I've even added the song "Changes" to my playlist now

In Rainbows by Radiohead
May 12 2026

Man, this site is really trying to make me love Radiohead. That’s the only way I can explain why this is already the third album out of the 85 I’ve listened to. Since I’m still someone who doesn’t get Yorke’s work, I’m a little baffled. The Bends—I thought it was a really great album, 5/5 Kid A—just a total flop. 0 out of 5; I don’t even want to think about it But this one… I can’t decide. It’s all steeped in some kind of melancholy and depression, but… it’s almost as if I actually liked it. I’d say 3.5 out of 5. But whatever, I’ll give it a 4. I hope I don’t come across any more Radiohead, or at least not anytime soon.

Walking Wounded by Everything But The Girl
May 14 2026

Well, that's pretty unusual. Early electronic music—I was actually pleasantly surprised to hear some jungle D'n'B in the middle of the album. Not bad at all

Leftism by Leftfield
May 15 2026

I’d say that for its time, that sound was quite fresh. But today, to me, it sounds very dated.

Garbage by Garbage
May 18 2026

Basic pop rock with basic female vocal. Not great but not terrible as well

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
May 19 2026

good classic blues

Phrenology by The Roots
May 21 2026

I only liked one song ("The Seed"); the rest just weren't my thing

Ingenue by k.d. lang
May 22 2026

a pretty good country singer. songs aren't for every mood, but she has a beautiful voice.

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
May 25 2026

I’ve heard a lot about NIИ, but I’ve never actually listened to them, let alone their albums. Honestly, it’s just trash. It’s unlistenable, it’s literally torture for the ears that gives you a headache. It’s as if Depeche Mode started doing butyrate. Once again, I’m convinced that when a band claims to have a multi-instrumentalist, the music is always awful.

Foo Fighters by Foo Fighters
May 26 2026

5 out of 5—what more is there to say?

Sunshine Superman by Donovan
May 27 2026

Well... overall, there are a couple of great songs. He has a pleasant voice and singing style. But overall, it feels like total psychedelia. For its time, it was definitely a 100% hit.

Hot Fuss by The Killers
May 28 2026

The first half is just one banger after another, but the second half of the album is just a bunch of lackluster, mediocre tracks

Venus Luxure No. 1 Baby by Girls Against Boys
May 29 2026

I get the feeling this album made it onto this list by mistake. It may have been groundbreaking for its time, but it’s really hard to listen to now.

Brothers by The Black Keys
Jun 01 2026

Just great music. Good, laid-back rock that really gets you in the mood

Jun 02 2026

Yeah, there are tracks here that everyone has heard at least once in their life. They’re definitely cool, but listening to the whole 6 minutes of them gets boring. Just like listening to the whole album in one go.

Roger the Engineer by The Yardbirds
Jun 03 2026

It’s interesting music—bluesy—but for some reason, half the album isn’t available in Germany. Plus, the songs repeat in the second half. Overall, a few of the songs are interesting, but it’s hard to judge the album as a whole.

The Rising by Bruce Springsteen
Jun 04 2026

Okay, this is the second album of Springsteen on this list for me, and I’d say that in the 27 years between them, my opinion of Bruce hasn’t changed. The same boring songs, a strained and unremarkable voice. I still haven’t figured out this phenomenon.

Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu
Jun 05 2026

This is beautiful, soulful music with very distinctive vocals. Unfortunately, I'm just not a fan of soul/R&B, and it's hard for me to imagine a mood in which I'd want to listen to this album. But the music is good, and I'm sure it has a lot of fans.

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Jun 08 2026

Well... it's Prodigy. I'm not a huge fan of theirs, but it's hard to underestimate their contributions to the music industry.

Jun 09 2026

This is a real gem for me. I already had one Hole album before this one, a more recent one, and I didn’t have high expectations for this one. I was wrong. It’s authentic grunge from that era, with Courtney’s incredible vocals.

Jun 11 2026

Well... it's beautiful, but my goodness, absolutely every song sounds the same! It's like I'm listening to the same song for 45 minutes.

Sound of Silver by LCD Soundsystem
Jun 15 2026

terrible, boring, repetitive

The Stone Roses by The Stone Roses
Jun 16 2026

Really interesting music that sets the mood. It has a great vibe that makes you want to go somewhere.

Wonderful Rainbow by Lightning Bolt
Jun 17 2026

I'm sorry... is this a kind of joke? It's just the noise from your neighbor, who's renovating his apartment.

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
Jun 18 2026

It's beautiful... I guess... but incredibly boring

Sweet Baby James by James Taylor
Jun 19 2026

A man mutters the words listlessly to the accompaniment of dreary music

Jun 22 2026

Well... that was really unusual. It's like Pink Floyd. It sounds pretty unusual and progressive for 1969.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Jun 23 2026

I already had the album *The Queen Is Dead* (1986), and unfortunately, this album is exactly the same. I didn't like that one, and I don't like this one either. It's boring, monotonous, and the vocals are very lackluster.

Only By The Night by Kings of Leon
Jun 24 2026

Really like this band. Nice music and vocal

Kollaps by Einstürzende Neubauten
Jun 25 2026

Your German neighbor has decided to renovate his apartment. HOW DID THIS GET HERE???

Rhythm Nation 1814 by Janet Jackson
Jun 26 2026

It's like Michael Jackson from a parallel universe... Oh, wait, that's his sister. Well, overall, it's okay.

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Jun 29 2026

Well... it's sad, run-of-the-mill folk music. Nothing really stands out.

Frank by Amy Winehouse
Jun 30 2026

That's really good. The vocals are pleasant, there's a fairly wide range of emotions, and the music is excellent.

Inspiration Information by Shuggie Otis
Jul 01 2026

It was very unusual. I really liked some of the songs: they had a bluesy, rhythmic feel, with a great voice and singing technique. Other songs seemed strange or even completely out of place on this album. But overall, listening to it wasn’t boring. Usually, when I listen to a solo artist, the songs are almost always monotonous, and the album consists of tracks that all sound the same. So I’m glad this album really stands out.

Ray Of Light by Madonna
Jul 02 2026

typical pop. There are a couple of songs that everyone has heard at least once. Overall, the album isn't bad, but I just can't imagine listening to it on a regular basis. Her voice is pleasant, and the music and song structures are interesting, too.

Here's Little Richard by Little Richard
Jul 03 2026

Well. There are a couple of very popular and classic songs, but overall, it's too old of an album.

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Jul 06 2026

That was interesting. The songs have a really cool rhythm-and-blues vibe. However, I wasn't really a fan of his voice or his singing style.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Jul 07 2026

Well, I was actually expecting the worst—something like Metallica. But the songs here sound... more heartfelt, I guess, and I didn't get that feeling of hearing the same song over and over again. Overall, I liked it, even though I'm not really into that genre.

At first, I didn't really understand what I was listening to. It sounded like typical rock music from that era. However, little by little, song after song, I started to like the album more and more. It’s a cohesive album, with great music and unusual lyrics. I liked it so much that I even read up in detail about David, his character Ziggy, and where it all led.

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Jul 13 2026

I don't know. This is the first time I've listened to Prince's album, and I didn't really get it. Maybe I'm just not in the right mood, or maybe this music sounds a bit too old-fashioned for me. Overall, the songs seem like a mishmash of a bunch of genres and styles. I didn't hear anything particularly outstanding in his voice either. I still don't understand the hype and fame surrounding him.

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Jul 15 2026

It's beautiful and interesting, but you need to be in a certain mood to listen to it.

Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Jul 16 2026

As usual: a solo artist who’s a multi-instrumentalist? You don’t even need to open the album. With this particular album, I still can’t tell which is more prominent—the music or the drugs.

Vauxhall And I by Morrissey
Jul 17 2026

First they made me sit through two Smiths albums, and now this? No, thanks—I don't want to listen to those awful vocals and those dreary songs anymore. I've had enough, please.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Jul 20 2026

I don't get why this album is so popular. Her voice sounds like nails on glass; I just can't listen to it for very long—it makes me feel uncomfortable.

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jul 21 2026

True Grunge. RIP Chris Cornell

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jul 22 2026

This is just wonderful. Bluesy, rhythmic music with incredibly powerful vocals. I'm pleasantly impressed—it's very unexpected, and it feels like this kind of music has stood the test of time.

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Jul 23 2026

The dreary howls of a haggard man.

OK by Talvin Singh
Jul 24 2026

totally not OK.
