3 songs saved (ms. Jackson, so fresh so clean, red velvet). Others are so so
This is very mediocre music. It feels like I've heard it a million times before. The sound is very ordinary, and there's nothing special about the lyrics, music, or vocals.
dat classic
At first, I thought it was good, pleasant music. But in the second half of the album, there was a lot of psychedelia, and the song Waking The Witch made me feel physically uncomfortable, so much so that I couldn't even listen to it to the end.
meh... just the same songs for 45 minutes, boring.
It was awful, boring, and so mediocre that I simply couldn't understand what this album was doing on this list.
ok. but this genre is just not my thing at all
wtf was that
Damn. For reasons unknown to me, I had never been familiar with Neil Young's work before. And what an amazing discovery it is. The vocals and guitar playing are both excellent. Incredibly good, especially for 1969.
meh
It's interesting in places, but I really don't like Elvis's vocals. I still don't understand why he became so famous. Just ordinary love songs without any special features.
The music and genre are quite outdated for me. But the voice is very good.
It's pretty dark, but the music is interesting. I don't like the vocals.
standard jazz, good vocals.
I feel a sense of calm and indifference to all problems when I listen to this album.
jet another jazz
Is this even an album?
well... this is abba. Pretty good
I like it not so much for the music, but for the feeling of nostalgia that this album gives me.
I liked how the album started and how it smoothly transitioned into blues. Very interesting work.
Well... No, thanks
awful and boring
ordinary lively ska punk, nothing more
great blues
Good, but I like the previous album more (with the band)
Ordinary alternative rock, not too bad, but nothing memorable either.
Meh. What is this? Fusion, funk? Not for me unfortunately
it's not a music, it is just... sounds
Excellent music and vocals. Simply incredible for its time.
It's okay, but most of it isn't to my taste.
Not for me
These were just sounds... Not music
Nice guitar and nice songs
It sounds like a famous old rock but I've never heard about this band. Not bad actually
An amazing discovery. Excellent old-school sound, interesting hip hop, with heavy guitar riffs in places. In 2026, it still sounds lively.
Overall okay, but it sounds like the opening themes in TV series.
This is just awesome. Real heavy grunge.
Excellent female pop rock. Sounds very familiar, but high quality.
I never liked Radiohead, and now I remember why.
It's not Beatles, but still good
Great Musik, but awful vocal
Not bad, but the other songs aren't as good as Take on Me.
The real hip hop
Great band and music
For its time, it really was fresh and progressive music, but now I only like a couple of the tracks. I guess trip-hop just isn't my thing
Good vocals and decent music
It's okay, but very boring
It sounds normal, a bit melancholic. I wasn't too keen on the vocals, but overall it's okay.
nice, but too epic
It has a great atmosphere, with some very bluesy moments, and Jagger's vocals are indescribable
I don't know why, but in places it reminded me of the early Red Hot Chili Peppers. Though without the Red Hot Chili Peppers' talent.
boring as hell
The brown note
Just more of the same old jazz—I'm sick of it; it sounds just like any other jazz from back then
great music
I didn't get it at all, it's some kind of experimental music where sometimes the lyrics are just spoken rather than sing.
Interesting and funky
Meh
This is some kind of nightmare. Sure, Metallica has a couple of popular and cool songs. But when you start listening to their albums in their entirety—it’s just THE SAME SONG playing over and over and over again. I just can’t tell if a new one has started or if the old one is still playing. They’re all exactly the same. And on top of that, they’re all equally boring. The same old tricks, the same song style, pointless solos thrown in at random moments. I really don’t get what’s so popular about this. Maybe it sounded fresh in the ’80s, but now it sounds awful and boring.
The music is interesting and quite progressive. And the vocals are very memorable. However, by the end of the album, the music started to get repetitive, and the very long tracks were hard to listen to.
Music for GTA Vice City
Stunning and energetic rock that sounds ahead of its time
No thanks
Very uplifting and energetic music. It really lifts your spirits and gives you a sense of calm.
The man speaks the words in a very sad voice, accompanied by sad music.
Just another jazz piece with saxophone.
It’s really strange, but I used to think I didn’t like Radiohead. I was especially convinced of this after coming across their 2000 album *Kid A*, which I found absolutely awful. However, this album is a completely different experience. It turns out that Radiohead used to make really good music (which reminds me a lot of Oasis or the Stereophonics). All in all, this album gets a solid 5, and it’s a real shame that the band went off in the wrong direction after that.
Unfortunately, I just don't get this genre of rock. It's more like a headache than music.
I used to like one song ("Money Tree"), and I thought the album would be similar... But no, I didn't like it
Very dull and boring alternative rock
What a surprise find for me! Cool, energetic rock. Great music and vocals. They sound like so many other bands at once, which makes them sound even cooler.
10 out of 10. rhythmic hard blues, pure music to the ears
I did'n understand wtf was that
It's interesting and has a bluesy vibe, but I was expecting more
Well... the music isn't bad; it's pretty epic in places
A very experimental album. Country, blues, and interesting vocals
Upbeat old-school music. It's okay, but I doubt I'll listen to it a second time.
I've never understood Depeche Mode, and I probably never will. It's just such a dreary, boring thing, with an unbelievable amount of hype.
A great, vibe-filled album, a true classic
It's a decent album, but there's just nothing here that interests me. It sounds like a lot of other stuff in this genre.
Um... a guy with no obvious talent or singing voice is trying to sing sad songs. I have absolutely no idea how this ended up on this list.
wtf was that
Pretty good, actually
Not bad at all, especially considering it's 1972. And I've even added the song "Changes" to my playlist now
Man, this site is really trying to make me love Radiohead. That’s the only way I can explain why this is already the third album out of the 85 I’ve listened to. Since I’m still someone who doesn’t get Yorke’s work, I’m a little baffled.
The Bends—I thought it was a really great album, 5/5
Kid A—just a total flop. 0 out of 5; I don’t even want to think about it
But this one… I can’t decide. It’s all steeped in some kind of melancholy and depression, but… it’s almost as if I actually liked it. I’d say 3.5 out of 5. But whatever, I’ll give it a 4.
I hope I don’t come across any more Radiohead, or at least not anytime soon.
Awesome
Well, that's pretty unusual. Early electronic music—I was actually pleasantly surprised to hear some jungle D'n'B in the middle of the album. Not bad at all
I’d say that for its time, that sound was quite fresh. But today, to me, it sounds very dated.
Basic pop rock with basic female vocal. Not great but not terrible as well
good classic blues
It's decent '90s hip-hop, but unfortunately, it didn't really grab me
I only liked one song ("The Seed"); the rest just weren't my thing
a pretty good country singer. songs aren't for every mood, but she has a beautiful voice.
I’ve heard a lot about NIИ, but I’ve never actually listened to them, let alone their albums. Honestly, it’s just trash. It’s unlistenable, it’s literally torture for the ears that gives you a headache. It’s as if Depeche Mode started doing butyrate. Once again, I’m convinced that when a band claims to have a multi-instrumentalist, the music is always awful.
5 out of 5—what more is there to say?
Well... overall, there are a couple of great songs. He has a pleasant voice and singing style. But overall, it feels like total psychedelia. For its time, it was definitely a 100% hit.
The first half is just one banger after another, but the second half of the album is just a bunch of lackluster, mediocre tracks
I get the feeling this album made it onto this list by mistake. It may have been groundbreaking for its time, but it’s really hard to listen to now.
Just great music. Good, laid-back rock that really gets you in the mood
Yeah, there are tracks here that everyone has heard at least once in their life. They’re definitely cool, but listening to the whole 6 minutes of them gets boring. Just like listening to the whole album in one go.
It’s interesting music—bluesy—but for some reason, half the album isn’t available in Germany. Plus, the songs repeat in the second half. Overall, a few of the songs are interesting, but it’s hard to judge the album as a whole.
Okay, this is the second album of Springsteen on this list for me, and I’d say that in the 27 years between them, my opinion of Bruce hasn’t changed. The same boring songs, a strained and unremarkable voice. I still haven’t figured out this phenomenon.
This is beautiful, soulful music with very distinctive vocals. Unfortunately, I'm just not a fan of soul/R&B, and it's hard for me to imagine a mood in which I'd want to listen to this album. But the music is good, and I'm sure it has a lot of fans.
Well... it's Prodigy. I'm not a huge fan of theirs, but it's hard to underestimate their contributions to the music industry.
This is a real gem for me. I already had one Hole album before this one, a more recent one, and I didn’t have high expectations for this one. I was wrong. It’s authentic grunge from that era, with Courtney’s incredible vocals.
no thanks. It's some kind of refined plastic with no soul.
Well... it's beautiful, but my goodness, absolutely every song sounds the same! It's like I'm listening to the same song for 45 minutes.
dreary sounds
terrible, boring, repetitive
Really interesting music that sets the mood. It has a great vibe that makes you want to go somewhere.
I'm sorry... is this a kind of joke? It's just the noise from your neighbor, who's renovating his apartment.
