Van Halen by Van Halen
Mar 17 2026

As my first exposure to Van Halen, i got myself wondering "Damn, human are capable of playing this good with a guitar?". While i wasnt to strong on the lyrics side of things, vocals, drums, base and, Most importanly, Guitar, were the strongest parts of the album. Favorites include: Eruption, Aint Talking 'bout Love, Ice Cream Man, Atomic Punk Aint talkign about love is one of the exceptions, in my opinion, that has solid lyricism that i find neat. The strinking notes with the guitar, the percusions on the middle part of the song and the end are Amazing! This is overall a 9/10 album! If you want to hear a very, and i mean, Very sick guitar playing skills, as an introduction to the genre, Van Halen's got you covered

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Mar 18 2026

What can i say? it's Frank Sinatra. Have listened to some of his ep's in the past, either trough popular culture or just memes. Dude's the face of a very specific time period it seams. Album was good, very easy to listen to music, very beautiful orchestration. Highlight of the album: I've got you under my skin, mostly in part due to Cole Porter's beautiful composition.

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Mar 19 2026

Today's daily album thought's: Sarah Vaughan, Live at Mister Kelly's! Overral pretty good, i've been needing to check out more jazz albums (been starting with Miles Davis) and this is another very solid one. Sarah Vaughan's voice is really soothing. Combined with the lovely piano acompaning it, it's overall really smooth, relaxing and somethign that got me starry eye'd listening to Defineltly will listen to it more and check out more of this artist (More music for me when im working for stuff)

Mar 20 2026

Classic of all time queen album. Excellent vocal performances coupled with amazing instruments Freddy mercury knew what he was doing

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Mar 23 2026

Really good album! Incredible compositions, song maintained pretty good pace all the way trought. Highlight: Lazy

The Visitors by ABBA
Mar 26 2026

First time listening to a full ABBA Album, (Only exposure being stuff in the zeitgeist like Mama Mia and Money Money Money) and i have to say, it's pretty good!. Not really my thing, my kind of music preference, but i can understand how it's so popular and people like it so much. Highlights are: Like an Angel Passing trough my room and Under Attack

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Mar 31 2026
A Love Supreme by John Coltrane
Apr 02 2026

Drums that go hard, piano that goes hard, bass that goes hard, jazz that goes hard. This is an unforgettable experience tied to a relativetly short album. Pursuance has drum solos that last for 2 minutes. Psalm feels like the jazz equivalent of being welcomed at the pearly gates. T This album is beyond words, make this your first jazz introduction . 5/5

Heroes by David Bowie
Apr 03 2026
Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Apr 07 2026

This has been a really great album, Granted not all of the songs in it hit me as hard as some of my favorites here, But Man! It's a solid one. Would listen to it again Makes wanna find more of this bands discography. I really like Staráful for it's beautifull piano, and overall composition, everything sounds very gracefull alongside the vocals. It's overall incredible powerfull sounding

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Apr 27 2026

Kendrick is trully a one of a kind guy. So much of this album is so soudly amazing, with it's inspiration's to 1970's funk and free jazz create an amazing hearing experience, coupled with trully remarcable lyrics. This album is an experience that i cannot describe with my words. This is the good stuff.

Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk
Apr 28 2026

Alright, here's my first impressions of Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk. It was a pretty good album. Admittedly, going from John Coltrane Love Supreme to this was a very noticeable shift, being a lot more chill and something i'd love to listen to while dancing with someone. I say that knowing that it's titular song "Briliant Corner's" Goes very hard, as an example, i'd like to point out Max Roach's work on the drums (and also the tipani) of this song, 5:00 in to it, some very solid percussion's. i'd give a 4/5, while it didnt went as crazy as i thought, it was very fun listen. I have a soft spot for some good piano, and some blue's piano certainly does hit the spot. My favorites, on top of the self tittled song, were Pannonica, I Surrender Dear and Bemsha swing

Out of Step by Minor Threat
May 13 2026

Do you want to hear unfiltered guitars and drums that just go nuts, on top of a vocalist that very's loud? then this album's for you! As someone who also has listened to numetal and altmetal stuff before, and this been somewhat my first punk listen, it's not that bad! Like i said, just raw, unfiltereds intruments that just go hard with pretty decent lyrical composition. if you wanna check some hardcore punk, give this one a listen
