Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Mar 24 2026

Life on Mars, Changes are the shining stars on this album. But even the lesser known songs like Andy Warhol are great listening.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Mar 25 2026

This was my first listen to this album. I am super familiar with the singles. But it was cool to listen to the entire album from cover to cover.

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Mar 26 2026

Great live album. Lots of classics.

Pretenders by Pretenders
Mar 27 2026

I used to use to not be a Pretenders fan but after listening to this album I am still not a Pretenders fan.

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Mar 30 2026

Highway Star and Smoke on the Water were the only songs i was familiar with before listening to this album. Interesting album but not one I’d go back and listen to. I did go back and listen to HA and SOTW.

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Mar 31 2026

Listened to this twice. After the first listen I realized I didn’t give it enough attention. I put it on a speaker for the second listen and I got a better take on the album. I don’t always fully understand why Dylan is regarded so highly but at some level I can understand it.

Who's Next by The Who
Apr 01 2026

I will say that Who's Next is carried by two (maybe three) songs tops. I don't think it's an extraordinary album.

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Apr 03 2026

Didn’t know many songs off this album. But I enjoyed listening to them

Stankonia by OutKast
Apr 06 2026

This album transported me back to a simpler time. I still fucking hate interludes though.

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Apr 07 2026

This takes me back to my early 20’s. This was an album that always went well with a workout. May need to try that again.

Public Image: First Issue by Public Image Ltd.
Apr 08 2026

This was the first time that I listened to a PIL album and I thought it was pretty good. I like it a bit more than the Sex Pistols actually. I think the song Low Life sounded a lot like a Pixies tune.

New Wave by The Auteurs
Apr 09 2026

This was the first time that I listened to a PIL album and I thought it was pretty good. I like it a bit more than the Sex Pistols actually. I think the song Low Life sounded a lot like a Pixies tune.

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Apr 10 2026

This is what Radiohead would sound like if Bjork was the lead singer. And I don’t say this in a good way. This was a struggle to get through.

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Apr 13 2026

I enjoyed this album. Barbarism begins at home was probably my favorite off the album. Listened the the album twice.

OK Computer by Radiohead
Apr 14 2026

Great album that always takes me back to a pivotal point in my life. I didn’t appreciate how great the album was at the time. I just knew I liked it.

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Apr 15 2026

This was a Beastie Boys album that flew under my radar when it came out. I owned Licensed to Ill and loved it but didn’t really know about this album until almost ten years after it came out. It could well be their best album.

Queens of the Stone Age by Queens Of The Stone Age
Apr 17 2026

First time listening to an album from this band. I enjoyed it. I will probably check out more of their work. Album was pretty consistent style wise. Interested to see what the other albums are like.

Celebrity Skin by Hole
Apr 20 2026

I remember not liking the singles off this album because they sounded too polished. I’m glad I gave the whole album a listen. It was pretty good. Definitely polished but I don’t mind that now.

Young Americans by David Bowie
Apr 21 2026

Fame is the only redeeming song for me on this album. Not a fan of the Philly solo on this album.

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Apr 22 2026

This album takes me back to the summer of 99. A great time in my life. As for the album I think I like a lot of the non singles more than the singles.

Cypress Hill by Cypress Hill
Apr 24 2026

I had never listened to this album. I only knew a few songs off of it. But this album was exceptional. I really enjoyed it.

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Apr 27 2026

Mr Bluesky is the track for me on this album. Everything else was forgettable for me.

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Apr 28 2026

DNF - I still love Son Of A Preacherman but I couldn’t get into the rest of the album

Porcupine by Echo And The Bunnymen
Apr 29 2026

I always enjoy this band when I hear them. But I’ve never listened to one of their albums all the way through. This was pretty good.

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Apr 30 2026

Wasn’t for me

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
May 01 2026

Some classics on here that I forgot were CCR.

May 07 2026

Didn’t like this enough to finish listening

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
May 11 2026

I’ve listened to a lot of Simon and Garfunkel but this might be the first time I’ve listened to this album cover to cover. I enjoyed it driving with the windows down today.

Brothers by The Black Keys
May 12 2026

Solid album by a band i only know by singles. Enjoyed the album but wasn’t blown away by it.

Let It Be by The Replacements
May 14 2026

Didn’t know much about this band prior to listening to this album. I enjoyed it and plan to check out more of their stuff. I really enjoyed the first track (on second listen) with Peter Buck on guitar.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
May 18 2026

There was a time where I didn’t like the Rolling Stones at all. I’ve grown to like them and I enjoyed listening to this album for the first time.

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
May 19 2026

There are a few tracks on here that really take me back to a time when I first remember paying attention to music. Time After Time is a track that always resonated with me and I enjoy it even more 40 years later. Overall i think the album is really solid too.

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
May 20 2026

Pretty cool album. I’m more in love with the album artwork than the music itself though.

Countdown To Ecstasy by Steely Dan
May 21 2026

There were some interesting parts to the music but I didn’t enjoy the music overall

May 22 2026

First time listening to this album. I’ve always loved New Jack Hustler but have always listened to it on the movie soundtrack. This album was pretty good though.

Great listening to this and Achtung Baby on a rainy Friday.

Always love listening to Nick Drake.

Melody A.M. by Röyksopp
May 27 2026

Seemed cool but I wasn’t in the mood for dance music

Urban Hymns by The Verve
May 28 2026

It surprised me how different The Verve and The Verve Pipe sound just a few years apart. I enjoyed this album. Wasn’t super familiar with it outside of the singles.

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
May 29 2026

Four stars for the singles alone. The rest of the album was meh for me

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Jun 01 2026

This was way stranger than I was expecting.

Jun 03 2026

Was not familiar with XTC outside of Peter Pumpkinhead. This was a departure from that song or vice versa. This music is heavily influenced by the Beatles in a good way.

Spiderland by Slint
Jun 04 2026

First time listening to this band. First time hearing of this band. Enjoyed experiencing it. Going to check out their other stuff.

Crazysexycool by TLC

Cool songs. Overall the album was ok.

Violator by Depeche Mode
Jun 09 2026

Like hanging out with an old friend

Lost Souls by Doves

I didn’t get it

Jul 06 2026

This album is a slow burn. Takes awhile to draw me in but finishes strong.

Teen Dream by Beach House
Jul 08 2026

This sounded familiar in a good way. But I’m not sure I’ve ever listened to them before. Going to check more out from them.

Rocks by Aerosmith
Jul 10 2026

Didn’t enjoy. Skipped around a lot.

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
Jul 13 2026

Enjoyed this album. This is a style I never would have come across on my own.

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Jul 14 2026

My interest in the Doors has gone down a lot to the point I don’t even want to listen to them

Meat Puppets II by Meat Puppets
Jul 15 2026

Great band that I didn’t have a ton of exposure too. I can hear how influential they were to Kurt now.

Jul 16 2026

Happy to have the chance to listen to this favorite any time. Nice hearing it the day after the Meatpuppets album was up.

Bone Machine by Tom Waits
Jul 17 2026

I really want to like Tom Waits. I just can’t get into it.

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Jul 20 2026

Completely unfamiliar with this band. I found them interesting but nothing earth shattering.

Django Django by Django Django
Jul 23 2026

I enjoyed most of this album.

Chore of Enchantment by Giant Sand
Jul 24 2026

Wish I could give zero stars. What the fuck was this album?

Parklife by Blur
Jul 28 2026

Liked this for the most part. Found myself skipping ahead a lot at the end. This is the end should have been the end of the album.

Leftism by Leftfield
Jul 29 2026

First time listening to this group and I was hooked right away. Took me back to the 90’s rave scene. Song of Life and Inspection are my favorite tracks.

Mask by Bauhaus
Jul 30 2026

I’ve been meaning to check Bahaus out for a long time. This was a great introduction to them. I enjoyed this album.

Suicide by Suicide
Jul 31 2026

Cool album. Very timeless sound.

Neon Bible by Arcade Fire
Aug 04 2026

One of my favorite albums of the 00’s

Treasure by Cocteau Twins
Aug 05 2026

Enjoyed this album. Had not listened to their early work before.

Make Yourself by Incubus
Aug 06 2026

Tried to give this a fair shot. Between being over played on the radio in the 90’s and the vocals all sounding so similar I just don’t like this band.

Space Ritual by Hawkwind
Aug 07 2026

This album/band grew on me. Wasn’t sure about the genre at first but ended up enjoying it. Reminds me a lot of King Gizzard.

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Aug 10 2026

Hard to dispute the technical mastery of some of this music. I’m not a huge fan of the genre but their talent shines through on this album
