Dookie by Green Day
May 19 2026

Brings back memories, but not really my cup of tea nowadays. Some good songs, but a bit monotonous. When I come around is my favorite now, Basket Case being overplayed.

Disintegration by The Cure
May 20 2026

Strong 3 for me. Some really good songs, but others are leaning a bit too hard on aesthetic, without much substance underneath.

Joan Armatrading by Joan Armatrading
May 21 2026

The songs sound mostly «OK» to me. It’s immaculately performed and produced though. Found myself skipping the most funky songs. Works as non-intrusive background, but not much more to me.

Moondance by Van Morrison
May 23 2026

This album is great! The horns, the songs, van himself. Just don’t try to understand what he’s singing, you won’t 😁. Thanks for reminding me about this one!

Has not stood the test of time. Stopped listening after 5 songs, it was just annoying.

Protection by Massive Attack
May 29 2026

Ok, I guess, better than I feared. Liked the dubby parts the best.

Dare! by The Human League

The Modern Lovers by The Modern Lovers

Less punky and more jammy than I remembered it, but this was a delightful revisit. So fun, loose, catchy and dorky (in a good way). I’m not fully convinced Picasso was never called an asshole, though. But it’s a cool rhyme anyway :)

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
Jun 03 2026

A fun revisit! It's deliberately simplistic, repetitive and slightly annoying. For most songs, that doesn't matter, because it's also such a cool blend of fun, catchy and angry. But sometimes it falls through, which costs it one star in my book.

Jun 04 2026

Some of the songs were big hits for good reason, but I personally find most of this album a bit boring. Not many interesting musical ideas, and the melodies are mostly in one ear and out the other. Not a bad album per se, but a bit too middle-of-the-road for my tastes.

Cut by The Slits

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Jun 06 2026

Some really great songs, and an iconic sound. But I don't think the album really works that well as a whole. It's an attempt at some kind of concept album, but that just adds fillers.
