1001 Albums Summary

I get it, Stevie Wonder is a wonderful composer and musician, some songs on this record did stir my interest, but most were just not my cup of tea.

Some classic Queen songs on that good album, including the outstanding magnus opum Bohemian Rhapsody.

Distest it already... and that was a prejudice...

Yeah, okayish...

Some very nice songs, some too close to Paul Simon. That was definetely worth listening to.

Now that's an interesting start of an album... However, the voice becomes annoying after a certain time. The song "Basement Scene" is terrible.

An early album from "The Boss". Never really digged his musical output... let's hear it... Okay, I guess you had to be young in 1975 to find this music relevant for your life. I was very young in 1975 so I lack a emotional connection to this album. Now, in 2026, it sounds dated. Alas: Not my cup of tea.

What the duck is this?

I get it, you have to know the roots - but the first song was booooooring! The second song is way better! Why do you have to start an album with such a boring tune? The third number is strange, but not in a good way. All in all: I'm too young for this music. And I'm born in 1971.

The infamous Amy Winehouse. She can sing, no doubt! The musical is not my favourite, however - which is why I don't own this album. But I always recognized her as a musical talent.

Oh, I love some The Cure! But I'm not disappointed enough to find this a great record. ;-)

An album from my teenager years - containing some hits and some more great songs!

After the first run-thorugh I thought "why is this album on this list"? After the second run-through I thought "I should listen to it once more". After the third run-through it really grew on me. Fab album!

Some interesting tunes, some gnarly sounds, some strange noises. That was worth to listen.

Come On Eileen is a world class party hit, of course. The other songs are pretty mediocre..

Teh Godfather of Funk?

The Beatles - the foundation of modern pop music. This early release may seem dated and pale in comparison to their later work, but anyhow, without this album we wouldn't have got what they gave to the world of music.

I should like it, however, it didn't ring a bell with me.

A solid album from the famous Coldplay! Yay!

Finally one of the best selling albums of all time. How many did Jacko sell of this? 35 Million units? That is an acomplishment, undoubtly. It contains several hits. A top-notch production. I'm not the biggest fan of MJ and I do not own a copy of Bad but have to acknowledge the greatness of it.

That one Cars hit is on this album - which as a whole is okayish.

I never heard this album by the huge Metallica before - and I was shocked by the poor sound quality! Sounds like a homerecording done by some novices on poor equipment. The music? Not mine.

Okay, he wrote some great lyrics, I give you that. But he can not sing! To me it sounds like drunk Uncle Bob doing Karaoke in a hotel bar - but without the fun. Awful!
