Good album

A classic and iconic album by the Fab Four. A Day in The Life says it all....

This was a very enjoyable listen. I like the lead singers voice and singing style. The songs are well written and I enjoyed the musical arrangements.

A solid album by Fairport. Sandy contributing some of the lead vocals especially Who Knows Where The Time Goes. A nice mix of English and American folk.

Very difficult to enjoy this album very depressing soundscapes reminding me of barren desolate areas in the world which I'm sure Iceland has some of them.

A solid album with 3 or 4 songs making the rotation on radio. Not the best of the 3 albums they released in 1969. Too bad they got ego issues.

A surprisingly very good LP from this reggae master. Strong songs with Stir It Up, 400 years, Kinky Reggae and the bonus track Low Tide High Tide.

They have a unique sound all their own. That being said their voices lack clarity as if they are singing thru something. Wondering if other LPs are similar. Gives an overall effect of similarity to their music.

Sometimes I don't know what to make of Tom Waits. Good writer storyteller but the man cannot sing. Live albums are not a good idea for him.

An interesting debut and only studio album from these dudes. Johnny Rotten sounds like Gollum from The Hobbit on a few songs. Sid Vicious can't play the bass and the band dissolves.

Solid album of early thrash metal songs. Particularly liked thr title track.

The Mekons are first listen for me. An interesting mix of punk and country with some nice lyrics.

A diverse song collection going from mellow songs of Cantonese and love to discordant songs with reverb from guitars. Sounds "vervish".

A very different album with each side having a different line up except for the drummer. I prefer side 1. Also the first I ever heard of grinder music.

Solid album by the master's of r n b soul. The LP starts out strong with 3 really good songs but then the rest of the album loses it's punch.

A very good rock album. Ian Gillen has a fabulous rock voice. Terrific rhythm section. Blackmore on guitar and Lord on organ.

An excellent album paying tribute and homage ti original member and founder of the group Syd Barrett. Great guitar work from David Gilmour and poignant lyrics from Waters.

An outstanding follow up to her debut album. Several excellent songs. She can really burn the torch on a breakup/remorseful song but leaves the candle lit for hope and moving forward. A wonderful soulful voice.

What an interesting listen she has a beauty of a voice and the music is grooving rhythmically. Never heard of her but seen in her bio she passed in her mid 30s. Sad. But she has an extensive music catalog. Heard too she was a bit of a rebel challenging the Brazilian dictatorship.

This is a solid rock punk alternative effort with a couple big songs on it. They keep it pretty simple and grungy.

The debut album from this sensitive singer songwriter. Some great laid back songs about life love and other things. Practically unheard of outside his native England. Never had any commercial success. Has a smooth voice and delivery of his songs. Left us too soon. 🙏

A very interesting and enjoyable listen. A talented foursome led by Robyn Hitchcock. Some really cool songs and they were quite the influencers. Out of this group spawned Katrina n The Waves plus Hitchcock n the Egyptians.

One of my favorite albums of all time. Fine writing skills on this one as one song seamlessly flows into the next. The songs are anchored by the classic Southern Man.

A very involved effort on this triple LP. The longest so gs are the worst. Billy covering several genres of music. Several really good songs. Probably should of been condensed into 2 separate albums.

A solid pop song effort from Bowie that starts out strong then slows on the back end. However it finishes with one of his very underrated songs The Bewlay Brothers. Is There Life on Mars?

This album has a few good numbers on it. Never thought it was one of their better LPs though. Back in The Saddle is a really good one.

This is a solid metal LP. The music instrumentation is very good. The vocals leave something to be desired. They always sound like they're possessed. Nice guitar work. Drumming is awesome.

An interesting listen to this early psychedelic band from the 60s. Some nice blues numbers mixed on with rock and light psychedelics.

Some pretty cool sounds on this which would sound cooler in a better setting than my apartment in the afternoon. So lends itself to some relaxing night tripping or good for a movie sound track.

An ambitious album filled with rockin blues songs with a touch of soul/gospel. Great guitar work from Allman n Clapton. A very tight band and of course the wonderful homage to the title track.

This was a very pleasurable listen to an album n group that I never heard of. The vocals are A+ and the music creates sounds capes of a dreamlike quality but grounded it it's rhythm n beats. Reminiscent of early 60s pop soul (Motown) Cooke/Redding with a modern electronica style with African n Cribbean influences

She has a very unique voice and vocal tone. Her denunciation of lyrics is somewhat unusual. But her voice reminds me of Ana's Mitchell's and her tone and phrasing reminds me of Bjork. Her lyrics are very good her subject matter fantastic. I have never heard of her until this album listen. Her songs are interestingly composed. However I am not enthralled by her music but do find it somewhat pkeasing

Many people feel this is his best release and I tend to agree. Great lyrical so gs and content.

Some nice tunes on here. She has a good voice. First time listening of any of her work. Undecided about her music will need to listen to other LPs

Excellent debut album with some real dynamic guitar playing by Page. Plant has a voice so unique and attuned for rock n roll blues. Bonham is the hammer. JP Jones steady and nice keyboards. Has a nice raw sound to it.
