Reviews (page 15 of 15)

A classic. The beats are still just as fresh as they were on release. Always makes me laugh how a bunch of kung-fu nerds redefined an entire genre. ODB forever. Favorite tracks: "Method Man", "C.R.E.A.M.", "Protect Ya Neck", "Can't It All Be So Simple"

1993. Key Songs: C.R.E.A.M, Protect Ya Neck, Tearz

It's always fun to listen to something that you've already heard many things influenced by.

Phenomenal. Wu-Tang comes swinging right out the gate with gritty lyrics and a dirty, almost lofi, sound. A classic.

Old school rap, DA BEST

I know I've heard some of this before but can't remember much about it. It's pretty good, most of them know what they're doing, and it has that mid 90s swagger I love that seems to exist across all sorts of genres. Maybe it's the production? Not gonna end up in regular rotation, bit too much of a deep cut in a genre I don't really care that much about, but solid 3/5.

I know it's a classic and everything, but I was bored by track 5.
