Definitely some hits I've been sleeping on. Love the Gorrilaz, but have only ever listened to surface level blur songs.

A little rough around the edges

It's anyways tough for me to get past screaming vocals, but when I was able to, there was some very interesting stuff happening on this album rhythm and instrumentation wise.

Too polished to be good punk, too rough to be a classic hit

I mean, it's the Beatles

Pinball wizard is good. The rest of it is kind of a slog.

Especially after watching Jeen-Yuhs, this album is an all time classic that opened a Pandora's box onto rap music.
