Adore this

Good album. Gets a bit too much hate (but that Simpsons joke about them is still fucking hilarious). It’s just a fun 80’s new wave album, and I like 80’s new wave.

Too mopey and not interesting enough. Still cool but not what I’d listen to on the regular.

Gets really fucking old after a while. It’s fun initially but after a while all the songs just start to blend together. Title track is pretty good though, that’s why it’s not a one star.

XTC’s “Black Sea” but with less imagination and clever lyrics.

One of the best albums of the 1970’s. It’s stupid and smart at the same time, a lot of modern music conventions wouldn’t exist without it, this will forever be in my top 20 albums of all time. HIGHLIGHTS: Space Junk, Praying Hands, Jocko Homo, Uncontrollable Urge

Does too many styles at once and doesn’t feel very cohesive. Comes out like a mess. Too bad because I feel if it leaned more into one style I’d like it more.

The Scientist was pretty good but this just sounded like a worse version of The Bends by Radiohead

Really good. Then again, it’s 60’s psychedelia, so of course I’d like it. It’s a bit pretentious in places, though. Solid four star.

I mean… It’s the Beatles. The Beatles are great. I’m certainly less of a fan of the bubblegum-y moptop stuff, but still, it’s great.

Wonderful 60’s psychedelia, one of the founding fathers of the rock opera, i mean what else could you want? Stereo mix is… uhh.. questionable, though.

I do not think I will ever understand The Stones.

Enjoyed this more than I would’ve expected. (Hardcore is not usually my thing). The lyrics were at least interesting.

I don’t like rap much and I do not understand a word of French.

It inspired Renaldo & The Loaf somewhat so it gets a bonus star for that.

Oddly beautiful, nice acoustic album. Liked it a lot!

Genuinely one of my favorite albums of all time, and maybe one of the most underrated albums ever. Dare I say, it’s better than Quadrophenia and Who’s Next.

Country is not my thing but this had some decent songs.

I love Pink Floyd so I can’t hate any of their albums, but this album is a fucking mess. I’m not writing an entire essay but there’s so many filler tracks here and it feels like the concept gets lost in some places.

Gorgeous ambient/electronica soundscapes. how is it even possible to give this a one? It’s such a mind-melting experience, I don’t even know how to describe it.
