Doggystyle
Snoop DoggTo an 80's kid growing up on The Fat Boys and Run DMC, this album was a revelation in so many ways. Super smooth beats, great flow, authenticity. This is one of my all time favorite albums for sure.

If this is grime music, I've learned I am not a fan.
I didn't enjoy this one. It's very bright and pop-y, not a style I'm into. I will say the singers voice did fit the band well. However, I will never, ever understand the insane popularity of wonderwall. Listening to the album, I couldn't wait for it to be over.
I enjoyed this album. It was energetic and very enjoyable.
Very good album. There were a couple of well known favorites, but I enjoyed the whole thing.
Excellent album, very much enjoyed this one.
Not my style. There were a couple beats I enjoyed in a couple songs, but overall I just didn't enjoy this one.

Pretty typical 90's electronica. It was pretty chill for the most part, something I could definitely see as background music or something. A little repetitive for my tastes, but decent overall.
I loved this album. Great beats, great lines, great entertainment. This goes into regular rotation for sure.
Classic. Loved it back then, still love it now.
I like it, it's going into the rotation. Pleasant and original. Caught me by surprise.
Good times. Y'all.
It was on ok
One of my favorite albums. Easy 5 stars
I kept waiting for a drop off something, bass or otherwise.
Not a Bjork fan.
Very smooth and mellow. Went nice with some pipe smoking.
Very pop, pretty good. I enjoyed the album more than the song.
Apparently I didn't very much care for this one, I stopped listening to it a couple of tracks in because I was distracted by stuff to do on the weekend, and it just never occurred to me to pick it back up.
It has its moments but overall, I love this album. I did then, I do now.
I'm not usually much of a fan of the britpop stuff, but this was a fun album that caught me off guard. Good stuff!
Banger. I love metal, never cared too much for slipknot, but this is solid.
She just sounds so good!
I do like some old school reggae...
Man, Otis Redding is just awesome.
Today I learned I am not a fan of flaming lips.
I'm pretty sure this would fall into my sleep music category, mostly really chill, interesting album. Definitely will listen again.
I tried. I really did. Sorry, but nope.
Awesome
I'm not a huge fan of 80s pop, but this was pretty good. Singer's voice is great.

I love it better now than I did when it came out.
I've always had a tough time explaining what I like about violent femmes, but I fucking love violent femmes and that's all you need to know.
.
If this is grime music, I've learned I am not a fan.
It was at least ok
This is another slow burn for me. I did not like Cypress Hill at all back in the 90's, but they grew on me over time. Solid album.
Not bad
It's just so repetitive. I wanted to like it, but no dice.
Loved it. I've liked credence for a long time though, so no surprise I already knew most of the album.
Better than I expected. Way more pop than expected also.
There is so much good shit that would not exist without Parliament. Absolutely love this album, it sent me down a mother funkin' rabbit hole...
Excellent. Couldn't get enough.
Decent but ultimately uninteresting
This is orders of magnitude better than any kind of country that is released today.
First it was super annoying Brit pop, then it was somewhat tolerable punk. Not my favorite album so far.
Seems like they had a real tough time deciding what kind of band they wanted to be on any given song.
Can't help loving this one, I have since it came out.
Too slow and uninteresting for my tastes.
It was weird.
Good album. I hear a lot of good about common, expected better.
I liked it! Can't believe this was the first I ever heard of Shuggie Otis
Really quite nice. No wonder he's so famous.
Not as good as earlier efforts, but still pretty awesome.
Excellent! Gonna go watch the movie now
Very good!
Not as good as earlier efforts, but still pretty awesome.
Classic 80s andI I can dig it.
Interesting and fun, will definitely revisit.
I love me some Jamiroquai.
I enjoyed what I heard, but fell asleep to it. Will give it another go.
This was a good album with a fantastic opening track.
They get better
There are a few songs I love, and her voice is great, but later efforts are so much better.
Not my bag. My wife liked it though.
Brilliant
The first song was kinda cool, but I didn't finish the album.
Damn good
You know, I've never been into the Beatles much. All the same, I found myself enjoying it.
Pretty decent 80s jams
Loved it since it came out.
Never heard of them, enjoyed the album. I do wish they would have chosen a style but still, pretty good.
Pretty decent.
Ok album with some really great moments.
Decent, but I feel like I was wanting something more.
Damn, that was smooth.
I knew more of it than I expected. Great stuff.
I got maybe 2 songs in. Couldn't do it, not a fan a modern country.
Soft. Easy going. Couldn't get into it.
Pretty decent, I'll listen to it again
Very pleasant
Quite enjoyable.
All my life I've said I'm not much of a Beatles fan. Yet here I was, singing along to damn near every track. Great album.
I really liked this one, I will enjoy it for a long time to come.
Not for me.
Better than bjork.
Not as 80's sounding as I expected, but I didn't love it.
Better than I remembered it. Caught myself bobbing my head and grinning a few times.
I don't like the sound. I don't like the songwriting. I don't like the production overall. Awful album from one of my favorite bands. Far as I'm concerned, ...and Justice For All is where Metallica ended.
He was better with nea, also with da llych mob. Not bad, but great.
Great album, once again it was a blast realizing how many Paul McCartney songs I knew
Only ok
Very pleasant, but not something I would have on regularly.
Very good album. Short, but awesome.
Odd but pretty decent
I guess I just don't get radiohead
Very good, I liked it quite a bit
Want a huge fan. First song was solid though
It was... Long. Two and a half hours is a lot of record.
Loved it
I'm just not a Neil Young fan. This was super soft and not my bag, baby.
This was great. I like Indian music anyway, but this taught me a bit about how to enjoy it more.
I didn't like much that came after it, but this album is a winner. Love it start to finish.
Wow, I loved this. Been sleeping on Amy winehouse, can't wait to listen to more
This was a really cool album, for me it was out of left field, surprised and delighted me
You can't always get what you want, but if you try, sometimes you get what you need
Better than I expected! I wished I knew the words so I could sing along a couple times
Better than I expected! I wished I knew the words so I could sing along a couple times
Honey crap, I actually cannot believe grating this album was. I skipped most tracks and couldn't finish it, this was terrible.
Loved it. Great album.
This wasn't as awesome as I'd hoped, I expected a lot more energy but found myself pretty bored.
I it's not an album I would listen to at just any time of the day, but when you need some peace, just something nice in the background, this really does it.
I didn't like it when it was brand new back in the day, and I thought I still didn't. Until I realized that I was singing along with damn near every song on the album. This one's solid.
Some of it was very cool. Some of it was quite unusual. Still not quite sure what I thought of it.
I love iron maiden, so yeah I'm biased. All the same, not my favorite album of theirs.
I've never been into punk generally, but I'm learning about it. This was a pretty decent album, and I say that as someone still in the "I don't like punk" camp. Found myself bobbing my head a few times.
What an unbelievably boring album. I actually forgot it was still on, and that's while listening to it in the car
Pretty good lyrically, pretty forgettable musically
I listened to it, but really don't remember much of it, I guess this was a pretty forgettable album for me.
Want sure I liked it, but I couldn't stop listening either. Pretty alright.
This was excellent, I really enjoyed it. I love discovering little gems like this, that's why I do this whole thing.
Really good. Once again I didn't even realize half these songs were The Killers until hearing them here. Love it.
Holy shit. I for real cannot believe I never gave these guys an honest chance. I was today years old when I discovered the glory of YYZ (8/20/2024). If you read any of my other reviews, it should be pretty obvious I'm a giant old metal head. And yet... Seriously, this was so good I listened to it a second time straight away, still bummed when it was over. Rush is unbelievable.
Every time I started to like something on this album, something was going on that made me want to turn it off. Weird sounds, crazy nasally vocals, just weird.
I've never heard of the zutons, but I liked it, real solid album.
I quite enjoyed this one. It was really good, but short.
I'm not sure what about this qualifies as "must hear before I die." I'm pretty sure this is " must hear as you're checked into hell." Gotta give it to them though, I never really believed anything would make me want to go back and add a star for Bjork. Holy fucking shit this album is terrible.
The bias is real, this is easily one of my top five favorite bands. Love this album passionately.
Man's got a great voice. Good album
I expected to like it more, but it just didn't grab me.
Ahead of it's time and what a voice.
Country music is so violent! But for real, I loved this album.
Nice but to slow for me
Nice but to slow for me
