autism be damned my boy absolutely rips on the harmonica. astronomically high high points and just meh low points, they aren't bad in any way, just not particularly interesting compared to the absolute doozies on this. fav songs: visions of johanna, i want you, stuck inside of mobile with the memphis blues again, just like a woman, absolutely sweet marie, fourth time around, sad eyed lady of the lowlands.

early 2000’s radiohead is the best radiohead. definitely their most sonically diverse album ever. perfect blend between all hail the thief (my fav album of theirs) and kid a. fav songs: pakt like sardines in a crushd tin can, pulk/pull revolving doors, i might be wrong, like spinning plates, life in a glasshouse.

ok i know that i've called multiple albums so far "not interesting" but this one takes the cake, the cream of the crop, the pinnacle of "not interesting", to me at least. usually when i do work and listen to music i can at least remember and actually recognise the music's existence in some way, i could not with this album, i had no strong memory of a single song, and truthfully, i still dont. the piano on abattoir blues sounds like its from sibelius (the music notation software), which makes it slightly more memorable than any other song. fav song: abattoir blues

absolutely fucking hilarious. sounds like a very unimaginative parody. southern rock opera is an “appropriate” name. fav songs: i dont know i fell asleep everytime i tried to listen through it in one sitting

love the abundance of interesting sounds. definitely gets stronger towards the end, and far more depressing. fav songs: liability, sober II, writer in the dark, supercut, liability (reprise).

look, this album is absolutely incredible and an achievement and pivotal moment in the genre. but im not enthralled in it to warrant a 5/5, its probably my gen z attention span but im not as invested in it as i wish i was. i also dont like how the interludes/skits are integrated into the songs, but at least they are some of the best interludes ever. its also a tad long. not annoyingly long. not like a certain album with a white cover. fuck you the beatles for making to me listen to an hour and a half of your music. im still angry about that. fav songs: ex factor, to zion, doo wop, i used to love him, the miseducation of lauryn hill, tell him.

a tribe called quest is just special. i dont know whether its the beats, the flows, the lyrics, or just the overall vibe, but it just works. perfect. fav songs: lack of lucien, i left my wallet in el segundo, pubic enemy, bonita applebum, rhythm, description of a fool.

calling this electronica is a stretch. like james bond music if it was longer and more boring.

it hasnt aged great, but thats because hiphop has evolved to such a great level in the years since this released. but it is refreshing to listen to something so simple and somewhat effective. but if you use this album as a basis to write off all hiphop, i will personally go to your house and punch you in the face.

this isnt on spotify. so consider this also a fuck you to neil young. im not putting up with this bullshit. joni mitchell and neil young can both go fuck themselves.
