Butterfly
Mariah CareyLots of ooooos not a lot of good songs
Lots of ooooos not a lot of good songs
2 good songs and a bunch of duds, drugs recommended
Fave song: an ocean between the waves Least fave: disappearing/haunted idle Easy listening, songs kinda blend together. 7/10
Good if you’re 60+
Good album, has some bangers 7.5/10
Decent album, very jazzy not usually my style but some good tracks. 7/10
Lots of air guitar not a lot of singing. 8/10
Some funky stuff, second half of the album isn’t great, 6/10
Hit some feelings I didn’t know I had
I couldn’t tell if I liked or hated this album, I still don’t know. Has some good songs though
It’s old but kind of my jam
Next level weird stuff. Drugs recommended
Straight gas, all bangers
Lots of ooooos not a lot of good songs
Great album
Was not expecting so many bangers from songs I’ve never heard of
Pretty bland stuff
All baby making music, a lot of songs sound similar but they’re good
O’Malleys bar might the worst song I’ve ever heard. Rest of the album is kind of interesting though. This is a weird one
Was not expecting strange instrumental songs for half the album. Herod is good but that’s about it
Classic dad rock
Kind of exhausting each song being 9 mins but not bad, wouldn’t listen to again but hey
2 good songs and a bunch of duds, drugs recommended
Nice folksy music, easy listening nothing I loved too much though
Guess I know why I knew most of these songs, I get it. Hot for teacher is the corniest song ever
Some funky beats and sweet jams. This shit rocks
Guys voice is quite annoying, some songs are alright though
Very strange, but strangely moving. I imagine this is just what Iceland sounds like.
Haven’t heard half these songs but they’re good. The sitar stuff kinda stinks but nobody’s perfect
Not as good as their other album and a lot of these songs sound identical, still decent
Back at the chicken shack is not funky enough to make me not hate the rest of the album. 10 min boring jazz songs is a tough listen
Beats sucked, hooks were bad, rap was decent. this was an hour long grind.
I get it’s old and he’s got a great voice, but boy this is boring stuff.
Pretty sleepy jazz/blues. Second album started off hot then went back to the same boring choir songs. Not bad just wanted some more upbeat stuff
in the few songs where he actually made music, they sounded good. Can’t forgive him for the rest though. Especially the second song.
Great change of pace from what I’ve been getting recently. Good vibes, some good songs I’ve never heard either
Bangers from start to finish
Even the slow songs were pretty good, creepin’ was a low point but I liked most of these
Not the biggest fan of the whisper singing but the album started out great, the songs near the end all kinda blended together. A little too melancholic unless you’re in the mood
I always liked their hits but never gave the albums a chance. This album is super good, no bad songs
Never listened to Willie before, this was just a pleasant experience
Wasn’t bad but didn’t blow me away as it’s a live album with none of their mega hits on it. Seeing it 50 years ago would have been cool I guess
As far as 20 minute jazz songs go, this was surprisingly listenable just pretty boring. What are we doing here
No bad songs and the first like 6 are all excellent. Levon is a classic
Pretty weird but oddly compelling. Not sure how to feel about this one. The hits hit though
Not awful, but not a single song stood out. Generic 80s love album. Not 1 star territory but we can do better than this
Liked it a lot less than I thought I would, first few songs are good, last few are too, & Clint Eastwood slaps. The instrumental stuff in between I did not like as much
Basically movie soundtracks, which is good if you’re in the mood for it. Some duds some bangers
When I saw it was 4 songs and a 46 min runtime I was expecting much worse. Apart from the 8 minute monologue in the 4th song all the tunes were good. Instrumentals were great and his voice is buttery smooth. Was expecting him to say hello children at one point
I can’t give it 1 star cause she’s clearly talented with a nice voice, but this ain’t for me. House of the rising sun was cool though.
Was definitely surprised by this one, African blues is not something I’d ever say I’d listen to on my own but some of these songs rock even though I have no idea what they’re saying. The last few songs aren’t my jam though but solid listen
Starts off strong and while the middle sounds same-y there’s no bad songs. Finishes well too
With the First couple songs I wasn’t sure why prince was so popular to begin with. But album 2 and even the B side of 1 it got better. Still very 80s and housequake might be the worst song ever
Sound quality is a bit of a miss but what a party this would have been to go to live. Still enjoyed it
Definitely biased with growing up with this album but it still rocks. Jesus of suburbia’s a top 10 song for me, the rest of the album is full of classics
Sounds like the soundtrack to a Bollywood action movie
Might be the most 80est album of all time. Most tunes are catchy enough though.
They brought the funk
It’s a bit much but it was fun, singing kind of sucks but I guess that’s what they were going for. Music kinda rocked though
Killer voice and good instrumentals, also funky. A couple songs are duds though but no ones perfect
The acoustic songs in the first half are nice if although they all sound pretty similar. The rock songs in the second half are good though, though young Neil young voice sounds a little extra whiney. Still a great Canadian musician
Jack white rocks
Some great songs, some bad songs, mostly average songs
This was disappointing
Operation: play your instruments as fast as possible
I’d recommend their greatest hits instead
Sleepy generic sounding indie music
The Jamaica song is the only miss on this one
Makes me wanna start an acapella group with the boys
A lot better than I thought it’d be based on the name. What did John Barleycorn do to these guys
End of the world is worth at least +1 star
The first half has all the hits and they still slap, second half is the Eminem we all know and hate.
Completely unremarkable punk music. A perfect 2.5 stars
Kinda boring but oddly nice sounding album. Good spooky season fall music
Each song is 2 mins too long. Anyone who gave this a 5 either speaks this language or is lying to themselves
pretty fun album
The beetles if they were mid
Super good
Knew the hits but the other songs were great as well. Vibes album
If this guys name wasn’t so cool id give this a zero
First song rocks, the rest are funky, last one is ridiculous
She’s got some pipes
I can see why these guys never took off
Out of all the artists that go by one name, Beck is one of them
It was powerful
Pretty good bono, pretty good
Generic and whimsical folk music that I’d consider going on an adventure to
Concrete jungle, high tide or low tide and stir it up are all real good. The rest is kinda boring and sound mostly the same. Still very easy to listen to
Pretty fun album, too long though
Should be called incredible band with bongos
Incredibly unmarkable but not bad I guess
Not awful but certainly nothing great
More of a 4.5 cause the last couple songs aren’t as good, but everything else here slaps
Not as good as raising hell and kinda repetitive
Feels like music they’d listen to in the matrix. This kind of hurt my ears but that’s the point?
Super heavy handed with the message here, but the songs where they actually do music are good. The talking bits and repetitive beats made this a slog though. 2.5
Enjoyed this a whole lot more than expected. Super relaxing tunes and quality singing. A little boring at times but still good, coyotes a great tune
The opening songs and wish you were here were great, the rest just alright. Good album though
Shit spanks
Having this and a Bollywood movie soundtrack back back made me quit the list for a week
Liked this a bunch
all the beats were kind of the same but it was the 80s so I get it, pretty good though
Funky shit, good stuff
Started off alright, but near the end became too much. I’ll pass
All gas no breaks
