1001 Albums Summary

Funky. But I need to write reviews right after listening, not the next morning.

I think it’s good/classic in some contexts, but I just don’t feel like jazz holds up well in recordings.

A couple of songs on here I really dig - Half Past France and Paris 1919. Kind of a strange vibe to the whole album, but that intrigues me.

Lots of classics, I just don't really like Bruce's classics.

Into the Light - funky riff throughout. Seems like a good album to listen to while driving around delivering packages.

Stand - dancing at my desk. Funky outro. Sex Machine - sweet jam.

Three songs in. Definitely a fave. Amandrai a nice deep blues groove. Would be fun to improv to. 5 stars since if the mood is right for this, it's perfect.
