This album takes me back to early 2000s and I got a strong association with Lord Willin coz I was listening to that at the same time. I find it really hard to choose a best track but B.O.B and Gasoline Dreams are contenders. I’ll Call B4 I Cum is basically about you, I just didn’t know that at the time 😉
Well clearly a classic and I can’t believe how it hasn’t really aged considering it’s nearly 50 years old. Holidays in the Sun, No Feelings and Anarchy are my top tracks But I’m giving it a 3 coz it is a bit samey and I definitely have to be in the mood for it.
I mean it’s ok….Here comes the sun is undoubtedly a tune, I also like Something. And I didn’t even realise Golden Slumbers was a Beatles song I recognised it from Sing lol But lots of not great tracks too.
I hate this
I like this album a lot, great voice. In too much of an uninspired mood to say more ;)
Hadn’t heard any of this before obviously apart from Every breath you take which is a great track. Some other alright ones but didn’t set my world on fire
Love every track on this album
I didn’t finish this. Life is too short
Love Dusty, amazing voice. But in terms of album it’s kinda weak…mainly coz the songs are repeated 3 times?
I’m starting to like the Beatles less…this album isn’t great. When I’m 64 reminds me of primary school, it was one of the ones we sang, randomly
I just don’t understand this, and why anyone would listen to it. I always associate Ian Dury with my ex who lived on the boat - his parents were fans. Also as I was saying I had the pleasure of watching his son Baxter perform live and he’s adopted a similar style as it obviously works so well here?! Fkn painful I tell you. Luckily Pulp were epic and made up for it but I left mighty perplexed at what I obviously wasn’t understanding and other people were. Listening to this album revives this feeling. It’s a no from me.
I liked this….both great but I actually think she has the edge on Maxwell
