Some cool stuff outside the hits but kind of forgettable
I like it a lot more than last time I listened. Repetitive but with a purpose and if you go in expecting that it helps
I feel like this was probably an inspiration for Pinkerton. Great album
One of the GOATs
Cool moments but mostly forgettable for me
About the fourth time I've tried to listen to this. It's good music but really not for me. I don't know what it is but I can't get into it. I can appreciate it for the impact it had though
Great riffs, songs, vocals. Somehow an underrated album. One of my favorites
Hints at future Brian Wilson music, very interesting and cool moments but nothing amazing for me
Better than I thought it would be and definitely worth another listen
Although it's silly and goofy at times, the compositions, arrangements and vocal harmonies are all reminiscent of the best aspects of the beach boys. A lot of great stuff here
This is so cool and unique. I really haven't heard anything like this before and I love it
So powerful. Amazing album one of my favorites
Another favorite album and probably the best Prince album. Amazing song writing playing and singing
If I had been alive in the 60s I think I would have loved this. A lot of cool musical moments and nicos voice grew on me but I think it's best in smaller doses like on the velvet underground albums. I enjoyed it but probably won't listen again
I really just couldn't get through it. I like instrumental jams but I think the reason I don't enjoy the grateful dead is weak songwriting
Really awesome album start to finish. If I had listened to it more when I was younger I'm sure it would probably be a five or more
Never heard of them before but this was pretty cool
Knew nothing about this one as well and really loved it. Felt like a time capsule
A lot of cool stuff here I just didn't connect with it. Probably more like a 3.5
Another one I had never even heard of. Really cool songwriting and arrangement. Chamber pop aesthetic
I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Probably closer to a 3.5 maybe higher. Would definitely listen again
Cool stuff I think I need another listen. Interesting hearing the jackass theme out in the wild
One of the greatest rock albums ever. I haven't listened in a while and it is just as good as I remember. A perfect blend of rock and roll, blues, folk and a glimpse of harder rock styles that were starting to emerge.
I had never heard of this album or band either but wound up loving this one. Reminds me of television a little bit. Some tracks feel like they would fit in well in a Tony hawk soundtrack
Probably my favorite pixies album
Such a cool unique Bowie album. Love this one. Feel like it could be the soundtrack to a Bowie video game
Great cult favorite album
Nice album had not heard this Elvis Costello one before
Pretty good but all the tracks blend together
I had only listened to hurt but I really enjoyed this album. More covers than I expected
Love Nick Drake this is probably closer to a 4.5
Some doors classics on this album. Great musicianship and really cool writing and changes. Traditional blues meets interesting and unique songwriting
Never heard of this but it was great
Really cool stuff on here but not an album I can listen to all the time. There are other Tom waits albums I enjoy more. I do like it a lot and I think it's one everyone should hear at least once but since I can only listen to it sometimes I feel it's probably closer to a 3.5
Really enjoyed this one. Never heard of them but will definitely listen again
Nothing so far has felt like more of a time capsule than this record. Crazy to think this kind of music was on the charts. Still great but idk how much I'd listen to this again
