São Paulo Confessions

The eagles are the first band I was ever obsessed with. I would go to Sam Goody and try and get every CD I could. Read biographies about them. They were a favorite of my dad too. I’ll always have a place for them in my pantheon. With that said, I think they’re great tunes and as good as it gets for 70s rock. Their lows are…awful. I think that HC is considered great because I don’t think it has lows. Bringing in Walsh was huge as well as he brought an edge to their sound that hadn’t been there. Henley is an underrated singer/drummer. Great songwriter as well. The band’s animosity towards each other is impressive and I really need to watch their documentary. I also like bands who have different singers. Here we have Henley, Fry, Walsh, and Meisner. The vocals are so strong.
An album that helps mainstream rock-rap, a listen years later leaves me thinking it was just pretty ok. It’s a good listen when you want to get work done and I like the interplay of the different vocalists, but the albums is somewhat the same on every song. Mostly in a duple time signature. Rap intro…song chorus. Or sing the intro and then a rap chorus. Good for a few tunes and then skip the others.
Amazing. One of my favorites by Radiohead
It was definitely ok. I like their later releases better, but this is a solid album.
I can hear the people she influenced when I listen. It was fine
Not the best beach boys album I’ve listened to.
Loved this one
Influential but not my favorite
I see what they are going for. Just not my thing
A masterpiece
Not my thing, but well constructed. Flowed well. Decent mowing music.
