JQ: More avant-garde than I expected. Will definitely revisit more.

Classic soul. Terrific stereo mix. Insane cast of supporting characters. No weak songs.

First 2 songs were terrific, then the next 5 tried to do the exact same thing. Could have done with 2-4 cut songs and resequencing

Super enjoyed it. Thought to give ot 5 stars knowing Phrenology will eventually be in the list

Nile Rodgers production A+. Maybe too short?!

Love Brown Paper Bag. Pretty sure New Forms includes sound FX samples from Star Trek IV. If I had more musical context I might’ve rated it higher, but I think I’d be more apt to return to other UK electronic music of the time (UNLKLE, Massive attack)

Maybe the greatest “B-side” record, ever; it stands alone as its own record with its own pervasive musical themes. Wish they tapped into Jazz elements more. Not my favorite Radiohead record (or second, third…) but damn there isn’t a weak song here. Stuck between a 4 and 5… but fuck it.

Proto-blues. Really pleasant listen and great for background listening. So many droning psych bands try to pull this off
