Is This It

Loved it then, still love it now. Can't listen to it for too long as it gets a bit repetitive and his voice, although really nice can get on my nerves eventually

2000-luvun rock-klassikko josta on vaikea löytää huonoja puolia.

Love the mixing here. The vocals are unique and that guitar tone is to die for.

A very easy 5 stars from me, this is just the type of music that I really connect with. "Is This It", "Barely Legal", "Last Nite" among others

Good nostalgia album.

Great album, lots of cool guitar and bass parts to it and definitely a distinct early 2000s sound

Listened to this album so many times in my first year at uni. Great album. 4.25 stars.

на пятерочку не дотягивает, даже учитывая обложку=)

Not bad, not great. Some fun rhythms.

Very beach boy vibes. Like in the y0s dancing..not bad but not my scene

Throwback to gr 6/7 when I first discovered Indie/alt rock... Still a great band to this day. Last nite, is this it and someday are a good time. Fun fact - The Strokes debut was set for release in 2001, but after 9/11 happened they replaced the song NYC Cops with a different one to avoid negative backlash and disrespecting nyc law reinforcement.

Fucking great.

Alright album!

Love it! Classic with many hits, including the title track, "last nite", "selfless". Love the slightly distorted voice

I always like the strokes sound. This is classic indie rock music at its best.

Hard to think of many more influential albums of the past 20 years or so. Also, a personal favorite.

Get me a heiney

I like this one OK. The Strokes have a sound I like but don't love. Still, seems pretty worthy of 3 stars. Would listen again, but not sure I would stay on a station that was playing any of the tunes...

Love them. .

I don’t recognize this as the cover bc spotify This fucking album SLAPSSSSSSS

Vinegar strokes.

Great album. One of my favorite rock albums ever.

THE STROKES

Fantastic debut album!

Album sounds the exact same throughout. Not much diversity. Liked a couple of their famous songs. 1/5

its not bad but i dont feel like its exceptional either

Nice brit pop

Helt ok om man vill resa tillbaka i tiden då denna typ av musik spelades överallt... Men ur ett mindre subjektivt perspektiv så är det ett tajt album med ett sound som representerar den genren bra.

Hard to Explain är den bästa låten.

Absolute banger!

hmm....

Hadn't listened to this Strokes album its alright but I still do not think the Strokes are not much for me.

Listened before

I love this album. It's cohesive, incredibly catchy, and a defining moment in the 2000s. The flow of the album from song to song, fantastic guitar hooks, and distinctive singing all make this one of my favorite albums of the decade, if not all time.

classic

Not a bad song on here, also no overwhelmingly great ones for me either. More upbeat than I thought it'd be. Standout Tracks: Hard To Explain, Trying Your Luck

i love

the strokes <3

Heard this one a few times, it's pretty good. There was a lot of this triple j hipster indie rock getting around in the early 00s, but this is one of the few albums I don't just roll my eyes at. Some cool guitar stuff going on at times. 3/5.

Why do you not rate any albums buddy

Peak album. On another note yall have some of the worst music taste ever like omg stop listening to music plss😭😭😭😭😭😭
