Not my favorite female voice of the genre, but the chick had guts.

Who cares if the band was unwinding at this point? This is the greatest Greatest Hits album of songs that have never been heard before — of all time. Perfect in every way, this is the Beatles at the height of their power.

Man, I know she's an American treasure and all, but I cannot appreciate these vocals. The song-writing and lyrical content is great, however.

Such a great sound, and a fun little album. For an album released in 1995, it has a rather timeless quality.

One-hit wonder, but there's actually more going on here after repeated listening. Still, if this album is on here, and Tin Machine isn't, ima be pissed.

I feel there are better albums by better bands with this same sonic approach. I found myself hating the singer.

Rich and varied. This album puts funk, rock, soul and jazz genres in a blender, and turns them into a post-apocalyptic breakfast smoothie.
