I'm surprised that I've never actually listened to this one all the way through. There were a couple songs that I'm surprised weren't released as singles. There were one or two that were a lot more ...bluegrass? than I thought would've been there.

I'm not sure why I thought this was a band from the 80s, but considering that this album came out in 2008, it's a great mix of the sound from the early 2000s and today.

Some classic jams, but too much "breathy" singing. I only remember listening to her albums before this one.

I didn't get to listen to all of this one, but it's a classic sound of the 80s!

The Stranger by Billy Joel

I had only listened to the greatest hits albums and it was surprising to hear so many of the hits on just this one. Great sound!

I've heard a bit of Tom Waits before but now I'm hooked. I love the variety of his sound, from smokey lounge singer to ballads and much more.

I really didn't notice any tracks that stood out other than the singles. Good though.

I can't believe I haven't heard this one! And the Jacque track made me realize that he and Missy Eliot both sampled the same track. Good stuff!
