Popular Reviews

21 by Adele

Obviously she's incredibly popular for a reason

All Ratings (183)

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Sep 15 2021
The Cars by The Cars
Sep 16 2021

Pretty solid album. Great start. Lost me a bit near the end.

Rubber Soul by Beatles
Sep 21 2021

The Beatles are a classically popular band, and this album was great, but not my favorite of their collection. It was okay.

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Sep 22 2021

Beautiful concert piano. A bit too relaxing for a work setting, but perfect for background music at home.

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Sep 24 2021

Heard it before. It's pretty good if you're into funk.

Clandestino by Manu Chao
Sep 27 2021

I really liked it at first, but then I started to realize many of the songs shared the exact same beat and sound. Even the biggest hit from his follow up album had the same beat from the previous album. Come on, man. Sounds good, but the music is lazy. You can hear a handful of the songs and know what every other song sounds like, just with different lyrics.

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Sep 28 2021

Fleetwood Mac (the 2nd iteration) at its finest. A classic album, making the world a better place.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Sep 29 2021

Great album. Pink Floyd is pretty good.

Arc Of A Diver by Steve Winwood
Sep 30 2021

Jammin' 80s pop. Can't ever go wrong with that.

Oct 01 2021

The music was very soothing, and I'll definitely check out this movie because of it.

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Oct 04 2021

Nice and smooth. Last song didn't seem to match the tone, but all good elsewhere

2112 by Rush
Oct 05 2021

Album was great.

Immigrés by Youssou N'Dour
Oct 06 2021

Honestly, not bad. I liked it way more than I thought I would. I just don't see myself revisiting it too often

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Oct 07 2021

Uh, HELL YEA. I already loved this album (and RHCP). Killer album. One of, if not, the best album of theirs.

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Oct 11 2021

This was some Grade A funk & jazz, man

Odelay by Beck
Oct 12 2021

Yes, Beck was great on this.

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Oct 14 2021

Suxie Sux ( xD its a reference) 4/5 very good

Street Life by The Crusaders
Oct 15 2021

Nice sax jazz to have on in the background.

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Oct 18 2021

The music was great. Still prefer Tupac though xD. The interludes were useless & shitty. He was clearly compensating for something ;)

Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Oct 20 2021

Liked a lot of the tracks and beats, but there's just too much exposition.

LP1 by FKA twigs
Oct 21 2021

This pop / hip-hop blend is all too generic nowadays. The vocals seemed the same throughout the entire LP. Meh.

Fever Ray by Fever Ray
Oct 22 2021

Woah, Wicked!

Oct 27 2021

The music was alright, but I'm not too fond of Courtney's vocals.

Space Ritual by Hawkwind
Nov 03 2021

Alright, but it dragged on way too long. First of time I got bored listening to an album on this site.

Made In Japan by Deep Purple
Nov 05 2021

It was okay but: 1. Prefer the studio recordings more 2. Songs are too damn long. Just get to the next one already, sheesh.

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Nov 08 2021

Creedence, forever.

Nov 12 2021

Wow. This was suprisingly fantastic. I did not expect it to be. Silly me :)

The White Album by Beatles
Nov 17 2021

It's the Beatles, so it was good, but it's supposed to be one of their best. I just don't see how. Still good, all things considered.

Heartbreaker by Ryan Adams
Nov 18 2021

This was sweet and amazing! Loved it start to finish.

Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
Nov 19 2021

Didn't grab me. Kind of boring tbh.

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Nov 22 2021

God, this was good. I'm gonna go through their discography now because of this.

Guitar Town by Steve Earle
Nov 24 2021

Really good country music. Nothing more, nothing less

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Nov 25 2021

The original Kanye banger. Lives up to his name.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Nov 29 2021

Indie folk royalty at its finest. If you like folk, you'll love this.

The La's by The La's
Nov 30 2021

It was okay. "There She Goes" is obviously a big hit, but the rest seemed kind of common for the era. Nothing stood out. But hey, okay isn't too shaby.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Dec 01 2021

Old Coldplay was based.

A Northern Soul by The Verve
Dec 03 2021

This was pretty good. The Verve seem underrated, usually relegated to their one or two big hits. Solid piece of work.

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Dec 06 2021

The Doors are absolutely LEGENDARY and this album is no exception. Jim was an enigma and blessing in one.

Bluesbreakers by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Dec 07 2021

It was okay, but I don't think I'll be revisiting this one.

New Boots And Panties by Ian Dury
Dec 08 2021

Wow, I was shocked how much I loved this. Absolutely based.

Fantastic. One of the first CDs I ever bought, and it still holds up.

Happy Sad by Tim Buckley
Dec 10 2021

Very sweet. Good feels.

Dec 13 2021

Very solid

Medúlla by Björk
Dec 14 2021

It was just okay.

Dec 16 2021

Kenza by Khaled
Dec 17 2021

Arabic gold

Be by Common
Dec 22 2021

Well produced and well written

Everything Must Go by Manic Street Preachers
Dec 23 2021

Normally, I would like something like this, but something about it rubbed me the wrong way. Some songs were good, but I also hated others. I'm torn, I don't know. Not a fan of his voice either.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Dec 28 2021

A classic for a reason

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
Dec 29 2021

PR

Ocean Rain by Echo And The Bunnymen
Dec 31 2021

Bloody good innit

Exit Planet Dust by The Chemical Brothers
Jan 03 2022

It was good, but there were lots of repetitive points in each track that could've been reduced. It's the equivalent of using "very" while writing an essay xD

Odessa by Bee Gees
Jan 07 2022

This was beautiful, and sooooo different from what the Bee Gees are known. I mean, there was even some Country in there! Very pleasant listening experience.

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Jan 11 2022

Truly beautiful

Ten by Pearl Jam
Jan 12 2022

Classic grunge. Possibly best grunge album ever.

Alien Lanes by Guided By Voices
Jan 13 2022

Very weird

Jan 14 2022

Bono is a douche, but this was pretty good.

Tommy by The Who
Jan 15 2022

Pinball Wizard was great. The rest was just okay. Interesting concept, but not for me!

Low-Life by New Order
Jan 19 2022

Ahead of its time. New Order is fantastic.

Jan 20 2022

Had a rough start with this because I expected... you know ... Music! But as I adjusted, I really started to love it. (P.s. it obviously has music, but there are a lot of monologues too)

Rio by Duran Duran

Legendary 80s album. Still holds up.

21 by Adele

The Man Machine by Kraftwerk
Feb 25 2022

Interesting. I can see how unique and groundbreaking it was in its time, and its influence on modern electronic music.

At Budokan by Cheap Trick
Feb 27 2022

I really don't like Live albums. Don't want to hear the screaming fans.
