This entire album is one of the best (if not the best) pop punk albums, every song fits with the entire theme but also stands up on its own. 4.1 This album is sooooo 1982 but the orchestral arrangements really elevate this album above all the new wave contemporaries for me. It's got a few less exciting tracks but it's a great listen overall. It's kind of a more Bowiesque version of Duran Duran. 4.1 Just a bundle of joy. I think With The Beatles is overall more consistent in terms of quality than Please Please Me, BUT Please Please Me has the better singles which is why I think this album gets overlooked. Also the cover of it is just so unsymmetrical and uneven it's so jarring to look at they wasted such good pictures (poor Astrid Kirchherr). Fave songs: Please Mister Postman, All My Loving, Boys, Hold Me Tight

3.0 Kinda boring tbh, the singles were fun but all the songs were the same and while this is a revolutionary album that pretty much took what the kinks were doing and put distortion onto it to make it punk, it doesn't do much else. Fave songs: 1969, i wanna be your dog
