4.9 One of the best things to come out of one of the best years for music. Fave songs: Strange Brew, Sunshine of your love, world of pain, SWLABR, Mother's Lament
3.7 Very Beatlesque but a little less timeless, some are not for me but Jump Into The Fire was a banger and if the rest of the album were like that it would have been in the 4s. Faves: Jump Into The Fire, I'll Never Leave You, Without You
3.3 Not my usual cup of tea and not many stand out songs (more of a whole album unit) but I like how it's not bounded to any specific genre. Fave songs: Piano Joint, you ain't the problem
2.7 fine some good songs but fine
4.1 Not one of their best but still a great album. Fave songs: 2+2=5, Sail to the Moon, There There

2.3 Bit dead innit, I get the vision but it's not my cup of tea. Fave songs: Sexy boy
3.4 A surprising lack of harmonica, not sure how I feel about it... Fave tracks: Tangled up in blue, simple twist of fate, shelter from the storm
4.2 whats with all the hate, its such a solid and pretty accessible nu metal album. faves: hot dog, rollin, livin it up
3.3 Some good stuff but kinda forgettable. I like how every song is slightly different genre-wise from the one that came before but it's still well put together and not disjointed. Fave songs: Reelin' in the years, midnite cruiser, fire in the hole
2.1 kind of album that would have been more impressive 35 years earlier, its fine, definitely not top 1001 though. can hear some stone roses and some simon and garfunkel inspirations but it's just not quite right faves: captain's table
2.4 I can see how this could be a good album if you're into the genre but it's just really not for me... And the songs are unnecessarily long Fave songs: One
3.2 Nothing special but it's right up my alley style and mood wise so definitely adding it to my repertoire Fave songs:
3.9 Great!!!!! faves: oldfellows local 151, the one I love, the end of the world
3.3 Not many stand out songs but a solid unit of an album and my type of music so a pretty good album for me. Fave songs: Sunny Afternoon, party line
3.3 Actually a lot better than I was expecting?? The first song I didn't rlly like too much but it picked up from there so. Fave songs: All My Friends, North American Scum

4.2 One of the best post-punk/new wave albums ever!! Fave songs: Do it clean, rescue, going up
3.4 Good, solid jazzy stuff, bit samey at points
4.5 post punk at its finest, can get a tiny bit repetitive in the middle but it's just so up my street that i didn't even mind. also was convinced that had to be robert smith singing at certain points. fave songs: requiem, so36, bloodsport, primitive, change
3.6 A classic, a bit samey at times but still a great grunge album. Fave songs: Would?, Rain when i die, them bones
4.6 put the PH in PHUNKKK. faves: give up the funk, mothership connection
3.8 I mean they were never gonna top Rumours but this is a pretty decent stab at just experimenting and seeing what they can come up with Fave songs: Sara, Sister of the moon, That's enough for me,
3.3 Nice, decent, slightly exceeded expectations faves: back in the saddle
3.9 Amy the Goat, always fan of an anti-man album Faves: Stronger than me, In my bed, Fuck me Pumps

3.4 fine, good, nothing particularly special faves: break and enter, voodoo people
4.6 Just banger after banger with enough variety to keep you on your toes, obviously not as good as Beatle era stuff but it's pretty damn good. Fave songs: How do you sleep? (AKA McCartney diss track), Oh my love, I don't wanna be a soldier mama
4.4 13 year old me would be proud that I still remember all the lyrics to every damn song. This entire album is one of the best (if not the best) pop punk albums, every song fits with the entire theme but also stands up on its own. Fave songs: Jesus of suburbia, Homecoming, Are we the waiting, St. Jimmy
3.4 Good but its no songs of Leonard Cohen faves: avalanche
4.1 This album is sooooo 1982 but the orchestral arrangements really elevate this album above all the new wave contemporaries for me. It's got a few less exciting tracks but it's a great listen overall. It's kind of a more Bowiesque version of Duran Duran. Fave songs: Poison Arrow, Valentine's Day, Look of love pt1, All of my Heart
3.6 Solid rap album, political, some metal crossovers what more could u want fave songs: home of the bodybag
3.4 good, bit all the same but I liked the features faves: work it, bring the pain
3.6 Objectively really good, one of the biggest hip-hop albums ever, but it's never hit the 'wow 10/10' for me unfortunately, still a nice listen tho. Fave songs: these walls, alright
1 i hate metal. the guitar solos are the only redeemable thing about this album but even then they're just meh. the "singing" is so annoying though god if they'd just toned it down a lil on the screaming i could have added at least one extra star. fave songs: ://
3.9 Sides one and two are just 5/5 *chefs kiss*. Not convinced by some of the covers on this (esp born to run), there was way better songs they could have done but oh well Favourites: Two Twibes, Welcome to the Pleasuredome
4.4 Not quite enough to round it up but MWAH. fave songs: whats going on, mercy mercy me
4.6 Probably one of my least favourite Beatles albums it's got some great bangers but just awful awful songs (it did not need to be a full double LP let's just say that, one and a half maybe). fave songs: martha my dear, i will, helter skelter, glass onion
2.1 listen, does it sound pleasant? yes. is she a great singer? yes. is it exciting? ...not rlly. am i ever going to listen to it again? very likely not. fave songs: the singles fave songs:
4.8 One of my favourite Cure albums, just such a jump in terms of quality from TIB (not that it's not good but this is just MORE) and a healthy middle ground between Faith and TIB. Fave songs: M, At Night, Seventeen Seconds, In Your House, Play For Today
3.2 Objectively pretty good for the genre just not really something I'm in a rush to listen to again faves: genesis
4.1 Just a bundle of joy. I think With The Beatles is overall more consistent in terms of quality than Please Please Me, BUT Please Please Me has the better singles which is why I think this album gets overlooked. Also the cover of it is just so unsymmetrical and uneven it's so jarring to look at they wasted such good pictures (poor Astrid Kirchherr). Fave songs: Please Mister Postman, All My Loving, Boys, Hold Me Tight
1.7 really was hoping to have my mind changed about AM but alas.... just very boring nothing exciting going on, all the songs sound pretty much the same. fave songs: a certain romance

4.3 a great album overall, some songs are a bit samey tho. fave songs: good times bad times, your time is gonna come
4.2 if prog rock has 100 fans, I am one of them. If prog rock has 10 fans, I am one of them. If prog rock has 1 fan, I am them. If prog rock has 0 fans, I am dead. fave songs: 2112, passage to bangkok
3.9 The good songs on this are SOOO good esp live but some are just a bit of a drag. Fave songs: Lamb lies down on broadway, counting out time, carpet crawlers

2.9 meh I wouldn't listen to it as a full album again, but some songs slay. fave songs: second-hand woman, spanish dancer, night train

2.8 underwhelming, I think PSB are fantastic at singles but they have one type of song that tends to get old when going through an album. The only stand out sounds were the singles. Fave songs: it's a sin, rent

3.2 I wish Americans were real <3 I actually liked this more than I thought I would..... some songs were very samey so if you like the style you'll love the album. I ended up liking about half of them and not really caring about the other. fave songs: Cover Me, Working on the Highway, No Surrender
2.8 Bog standard 80s album, nice sounding but not much more to it than that. Fave songs: Love goes on, Streets of your town
3.9 the songs that are good are GOOOOOD but some are just a drag but overall has lots of songs that sound like they came out 15 years later fave songs: theresa's sound-world, wish fulfilment, Sugar Kane, JC, Chapel Hill

3 i mean yeah it's listenable but the novelty of it ended after song two faves: honey, my weakness
3.0 Kinda boring tbh, the singles were fun but all the songs were the same and while this is a revolutionary album that pretty much took what the kinks were doing and put distortion onto it to make it punk, it doesn't do much else. Fave songs: 1969, i wanna be your dog
3.7 Fuck clapton. (this is pretty good) Fave songs: I shot the sheriff, let it grow, motherless children
2.9 i'm not a big fan of old classical music from any country but i do love fusions of old classical styles a new instruments/new genres so it's interesting to hear the root of a lot of 60s musicians' inspiration on this album. (also gave me war flashbacks to GCSE music.) fave songs: dadra
3.6 actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would, just by the variety of songs there were without feeling disjointed. it's clear they were very inspired by the beatles but that's never a con for me. fave songs: waterloo sunset, david watts, funny face
4.3 A great album, just not one of my personal PF faves. Fave songs: Shine on 1-9, wish you were here
3.8 Actually really like this album. It's very So era Peter Gabriel (just a bit more mid). I'm a fan of the grandiose songs and Tinseltown in the Rain was a big fave of mine a few years ago. Fave songs: A Walk Across The Rooftops, Tinseltown in the Rain, Stay
4.6 The songs that are great on this are absolute masterpieces, some are skips imo compared but probably cos the standard is so high. Fave songs: Lover you should have come over, Mojo Pin, grace
3.2 While iconic and full of great songs it's just kinda mid. Fave songs: I got a woman, blue suede shoes
