Deja Vu
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young3/5. The album is decent background music. Helpless is a good track. No real bangers on this one though, no meat to chew.
3/5. The album is decent background music. Helpless is a good track. No real bangers on this one though, no meat to chew.
Great background listen! I didn't know the riff from "Bad To The Bone" came from "Mannish Boy" on this album.
Have listened to this one a lot in the past. Some great classics!
It’s a good album but not my genre. It’s one of my mom and her best friend Anne’s favorites, though!
Legendary classic! This one is awesome top to bottom, and has got some great singles. One of my all time favorites.
It's okay. I love "Paint It Black," the first track on the album. The rest of the album falls flat for me. I'm sure for my dad, who grew up in this generation, the album was significant. Just not for me. 2/5.
Great album! Almost always, if a song has a horn, backup singers, or a surprise, I'm in. And there are a lot of horns in this album. The track "Chicago" is my favorite (I knew this song before listening to the album). I listened to the album 2x, and am on my third revolution right now. I'll be exploring more Sufjan Stevens.
It was a decent album, 3/5. I like a few songs by Depeche Mode but none of them are from this album.
The album overall is great, old country. I've only recently discovered any country music that I like. The stuff that I do like that's contemporary, has an older feel to it, harkening back to music like this but more rich (given that it's written more recently). I'd give this album a 4/5.
This is a 3 disc album and I am more than good after listening to the first disc. I guess some people like this. I found it boring as shit musically. It's definitely poetic in delivery, an album of love songs title 69, but it's fuckin' garbage music. 0/5 if I could, but I'll have to settle for a 1/5. Get me the fuck out of here.
It's a good album. "Let's Get It On" is my favorite track, and by far peoples' favorite in general given the number of listens in comparison to the number of listens for the others. 3/5.
This is a great album! I listen to this type of music but it's not a primary for me. I understand why Daft Punk gained such popularity off of this one! 4/5. EDIT: I think I'm going 3/5. My previous assessment came halfway through the album. It gets a little esoteric deeper in.
Another great album. "Paper Planes" is a favorite of mine, one of those where I remember the when and where of my first listen. There are some other great tracks on this album too. I'm going 3/5 because I can't go 7/10.
It's okay. Not really my speed though.
I like "Just What I Needed". The rest of the album is okay, in that if I never heard it again I would be okay. "Best Friend's Girl" isn't bad either. 3/5.
This is a good album, 3/5. I'm not a huge fan of Kanye West generally, but he does have some nice tracks. Of the 21 tracks on this album, four (4) are on my "liked" songs list.
This album has some great tracks! I had this one back in '97 when it came out. 3/5
It was okay. Not really my type of music. Very '80s feel.
Great Jazz Album! Not something I would go listen to everyday, but wonderful background music. 4/5
This album is not great, not my style. 2/5
Not my style. Kind of boring metal, honestly. I'm sure it was revolutionary in its time, but not now. No bangers either. 2/5.
This album is an abortion. I only got half way through it. 1/5.
Pre: Never really been a Dead fan save a few songs. Interested to see how this goes. Mid: I'm on the penultimate track, and I can say with honesty that I'm still not a Dead fan. Post: It's over. Thank the lord. 1/5.
I like "The Weight", but can do without the rest. My ear hears singing as melody more so than lyrics, and the lead singer's voice isn't that great, nor does it pair well with the music. I've heard much worse though: 3/5.
As I get into this one, it feels like a 2-3/5. I'm familiar with some of it. It's okay, but not hard hitting. Post Listen: 2/5. Not my style.
Garbage. Never heard these nerds before, and I hope to never again. 1/5.
This album is great! It's got a couple of bangers, and generally has a great energy to it. Strong 3/5.
They've got a couple of tracks that are good, one of which is on this album. It's okay, okay minus. I'll go a soft 3/5.
Not my type of music at all. 2/5 because it didn't make my ears bleed, and it didn't kill my enthusiasm for music generally. But it's not a good album.
I've really been on a weak run here. I'm on the 2nd to last track on this one and it's bunk. I'll give it a 2/5 to be generous.
Rock bottom is listening to this album through to the end. This guy's voice is best suited for silent mic karaoke. My toddlers have written better melodies on their Fisher Price xylophone, which is the instrument I'm pretty sure was used in the recording of this album. That and ballon rubber. I surrender, just make it stop. 1/5 because 0/5 isn't an option.
It's a decent album with some famous hits. Not my favorite music but not my least favorite either. Solid 3/5.
Not my style
Didn't listen all the way through because it made me ill. 1/5. I'm not into techno.
It was okay, just old. It was progressive in its time, I'm sure.
Another garbage album. I got through 1.5 songs.
Do you like to listen to women scream over mediocre melodies in a repetitive fashion? If so, boy have I got the album for you. 1/5
Christ almighty. 1/5. I have been on a terrible run lately.
I like David Bowie. This album isn't a chart topper for me, but it's better than a lot of what I've heard from this list recently. 3/5
2/5. It's elevator music, but not bad.
3/5. It's a classic album and has a few old school bangers. Run D.M.C. are definitely due credit for their influence on hip hop early on. My preferable taste comes on in the next few years after this album's release.
2/5. Not my speed.
This is a great album! Aretha Franklin is a great artist, and this album is good top to bottom. Already had one track from this album in my favorites, and now I have two. 4/5.
It's a decent album, but not my taste typically. 3/5
I'm not going to say this was bad, because I don't think it is. However, it is more boring than listening to paint peel. 2/5
It's okay. I'm not a huge Beatles fan, but it's not bad. I'll be generous. 3/5
2/5. I've heard worse from this list, but this doesn't qualify as good in any respect.
This isn't the worst, but again not my taste. I'd say it's a 2.5, but I can't lean into it. 2/5
This is a good album. Battery is my favorite track, and Master of Puppets is great too. I'd go 3.75, so it's a 4/5.
2/5. I couldn't get through this one. There are too many bad albums on this list. it's really killing my motivation.
This is a good album! 3/5
This is decent, a nice discovery. 3/5
This is a good album! I like it! 3/5
3/5. Not bad, but not my style. Sounds a lot like some other music. Lana Del Rey comes to mind. Don't think I'll ever qualify as a Swiftie
4/5. Solid classic
This is a good one. 4/5
British punk/rock. 2/5. Not my style.
2/5. I can't say the album is bad, it's just not my type of music.
This is a good album! I like the first track better than the rest. Solid 3/5.
Dope album. I'm very familiar. I'd give it a 3.5 for my taste, but I can't lean toward 4. 3/5.
This is a solid album. It listens well top to bottom. 4/5.
Pre-listen, 3 of these tracks are already on my liked songs list. Solid album. I'm not a Kanye-as-a-person fan, and I wouldn't really consider myself a fan of Kanye-the-artist, but this album is good. Can't deny it. 4/5.
2/5. I'm not into it. It's too soft, like music you hear in an elevator.
3/5. The album is decent background music. Helpless is a good track. No real bangers on this one though, no meat to chew.
This is a 1/5. This music sucks. It's not the worst I've heard as in I think the artists were trying to make something cohesive and listenable, but it's still shit. Just not as bas as some of the other shit I've heard from this list.
This is a good album! 3/5.
It's alright. I'll give it a 3/5.
2/5. Not a huge fan of Snoops music, though I like his cameos on other artists' tracks.
Good album. 3/5
This should be called "Music for Hobbits". 2/5.
2/5. Who TF listens to this music?
It's a decent album but not my taste. I'd go 2.7, so it's a 3/5
I don't like R.E.M. I'll give this a 2/5 since there are a couple of hits on it (not that they are hits for me) as a legacy valuation. Would be a 1 otherwise.
3/5. I've heard worse. Pretty good listen for the first time.
I'd go 2.5 so I'll go 3/5. It's your typical hairband rock album.
3/5. This is a good album! Never really listened to Boston much but I like it!
It's a decent album, 3/5. I'm not a huge fan of Metal, especially this older metal, but it's not too bad. Love the album art.
Listening to this album was a huge waste of time surpassed only by Kraftwerk's efforts to make it. Why isn't there a 0/5 option? 1/5
2/5. Not horrible, but garbage to my ears.
3/5. This is a good album, I'm just not much of a country fan.
This is a phenomenal album! It’s a strong 4.6-4.7. Bangers, new found bangers, great flow, creative, this is one that I could get stuck on for a while. 5/5
This one is kind of weird and artsy. I like The Who, but I can't jam to this. 2/5.
I don't even know. I'm on my first listen through and I've just had it on in the background while working and thinking. I haven't heard a note that I didn't like, much less a song. Not sure if there are enough stars available to rate this one accurately. Yeah, 5/5. This album is excellent!
Not my style. Very melancholy across the board. I'm sure the lyrics are good, but my ear picks up singing as harmony, not words, so I have to get outside of myself to know what's being said. Not terrible, just not for me. 2/5
Hot garbage. Did someone throw a wrench down a drainpipe? Yes, to cleanse my palate after listening to this afterbirth of an album. We really need a 0 star option.
Not a fan of country music, generally. This isn't the worst I've heard, though. 2/5
Solid album, but it's definitely from my dad's generation. I wouldn't put it on repeate, but it's a 4/5.
This is a good album! I like the opening track "Cannibal Resource". They have a bit of a Sufjan Stevens feel. 3.6/5, so I'm going 3/5. Don't think a 4 is warranted.
There is exactly one track on this album worth a damn: "Two Weeks". Were it not for this track, it would be a solid 1/5. Instead, I'll give it a 2/5.
It's a decent album, 3/5. I like the sound in a general sense, but don't necessarily pursue this type of music often. Sad that she's gone.
oof 2/5. Just not that into Beck
Automatic 3/5 because Wu-Tang. This album's dope too. I found a couple of bangers that I like: Shakey Dog and Three Bricks. I'd say a 3.7/5, so we'll go 4/5.
