Loads of recognisable songs, for some reason I haven't listened to this all the way through before. It is awesome, love the variation between tracks. Do feel it tails off a bit towards the end and could have had a couple cut
What a band, shame morrissey is a prick. Prefer the queen is dead
The good tracks are so good it brings up the rating, bit of filler but overall a great album
Down to the waterline a great opener. Southband again and sultans of swing are both great but beyond that extremely mid. Absolutely love the dire straits guitar tone
Properly hate this, a chore to get through
One of the best metal albums ever. Easy full marks
Sounds like it was just improvised jazz jam sessions. Long and definitely won't revisit
Quite liked the first song but the rest I found boring, not my kind of thing
I like Paul Simon, I liked the opener and I liked some other bits, but graceland is way better
Sweet emotion is a classic, walk this way needs run dmc (I'm sick of that song anyway), big 10 inch record was kinda fun. All it does is add substance to my point that Aerosmith are a greatest hits band. Bland
I like it, very scifi and sounds a lot more recent than the date it was released
Some cool tracks on here, have never heard of the band before. Listened to the deluxe version and all the added tracks felt unnecessary. Goiny by original track list it's a solid 3, nearly 4
Solid album but a few too many slow tracks for me. Led zep 4 is way better
Not my kind of thing. Wasn't bad but wouldn't go back to it
Really like this, one of my all time favourite bands
It good but I definitely won't listen again, not for me
Even the band sounded bored. 2 okay songs
It's very generic blues. There's a couple of songs that would be fun in a bar but too many guitar solos which aren't interesting
Also, clapton is a prick
Better at that star but decent
Front loaded. Good nonetheless
Not a fan of this I'm afraid. Usually like this kind of music but this doesn't do much for me. Couple of decent tracks but not something I'd revisit
Enjoyed this but one song was annoying
Classic rock doesn't get any better
Unfortunately found it dragged towards the end, musically good fun
So many bangers, must be played at full volume
Lot of fun, did peak with the first song
Really get nothing out of this, he has better stuff
Quite a long way from their best. Heard it beffr and didn't like it, still dont
Really quite dull, never thought of them as an album band
Pretty alright. Bit samey
This is so good from someone who doesn't love hip hop that much. If it weren't for the skits and a couple of tracks that could've been cut this would be a 5. Shakey dog and the champ both incredible tracks and I'll definitely revisit this album
Can't wait to see them live
Couple of nice bits but overall boring
Feels weird giving Bowie a 2
Mainly pointless filler tracks
Massive prick, great album
Had to listen on YouTube. Grow up and put your album on Spotify like everyone else
Nice hearing the songs from Queen that weren't the big hits which have been horribly overplayed
Kind of enjoyed the storytelling in the songs
Made of stone and this is the one are my clear favourites. Enjoyed this more than I remember when I last listened
This guy has a billion albums, bet they all sound like this
Starts really well but definitely falls off
Found this very boring and at points irritating. Not bad enough for a 1 but only scraping a 2
If bob Dylan and Sam fender were good
Much better than that terrible concept album
Really dragged towards the end but some really good bits in the middle
I see this as the best queen album, where they went quite weird
Always felt like I'm missing something when I listen to this
We had it all at the end was nice
Never really liked pavement, as an album it’s okay but loses me for a bit. Good album closer
It’s ambient so it’s never getting a high score, works as background music I suppose
Okay this is really good. Definitely going to come back to this one
170 albums in, this is the first one I've given a 5 that I'd never heard before. From the opener all the way through to the end it's hard, chaotic, passionate, brilliant
It's long but great the whole way through
Kind of liked the first half but good god it got real bad and dragged at the end
Some toe tapping swing, love it
This was way too long, some really great bits in it but needed 30 minutes cut
Some super funky parts to this but I do feel like the songs are a touch long at times and they need a few more ideas to keep me interested
Enjoyed parts of this but other bits kind of annoying
An insanely incredible album
Weird band patter and I simply don’t like their songs
One of the best guitar albums of all time
Mad, theatrical, brilliant
Can't believe I had to load up YouTube to listen to this
I liked the songs but what was with the lengthy elevator music interludes
Who doesn’t love some smooth big band country jazz
Funny album, feel like on a few listens I may upgrade to a 4 but on first attempt it’s a 3
Really weird album, loads of extremely short songs that largely sound unfinished
Pretty good but some songs dragged
It's salsa, I likes the trumpets
Some really great sections in songs but a lot of forgettable parts. Did like the closer 1969
Great vocals, didn't love the music but it was good enough
Used to hate this, has grown on me but some songs could definitely be cut near the end
Quite fun at the start but it seemed to get progressively worse as it went on
For a boby Dylan album I enjoyed this. Was leaning towards a 4 but there were a few bits where I was a bit bored
Truly dreadful. My life was better before being subjected to this album
Another great hole album. Never paid attention to this band until doing this list
There's some great tracks on this but a lot just felt a couple of minutes too long, kept flipping between 3 and 4 but settled with 3 during all the critics
Went to see these guys play this album in full ata show but missed the whole thing queueing at the bar
It's a jazz album I'd struggle to distinguish from thousands of other jazz albums
Absolutely loved the variation and the song writing is excellent. Feels like a very love it or hate it record, 5 from me
Hip hop has never been so good
Are there too many Bowie albums on this list, yes. Do I think this one should be on here, also yes
Definitely not their best but there are some great songs on here
Very much a singles band from what I’ve heard
So many bangers on one album
Weird doesn’t always mean good
Probably not the best soundtrack for the gym
Wish some of the songs were shorter, could’ve been a 4
Child in time one of the best songs ever written
I think I need to be on drugs for this
Possibly my favourite Beatles album
If it weren’t for the pointless instrumental I’d give this a 5. One of my favourite Metallica records
Went my whole life thinking goldfrapp were a pop duo. They are in fact this nonsense
Quite a few songs sounded like someone was randomly hitting bins
18 songs is too many songs. There’s a lot on here that should have been left on the cutting room floor. There’s were instances where I liked what I heard but they felt fleeting. Shame
Starts really well but the last 2-3 songs are pretty pointless. Sadly brings it down a point
Well that was forgettable
They make it sound so effortless
Not even his best album. No one has ever or ever will come close to the king of pop
Some serious bangers on this. Been a long time since I heard it and was assuming I’d give it a straight 5 but not quite as good as I remembered
Didn’t mind some bits but it did feel like a somehow worse elbow at parts
Pretty good, will I listen again? Probably not
Really felt like this album was never going to end. Took me 2 days to complete it
Sitting at home in the middle of the day probably isn’t the desired environment for an album like this. I love underworld, think they are one of the best electronic live acts going but I don’t really enjoy listening to dance music outside of a gig environment. A generous 3
Discovered today that I don’t like the kinks
This isn’t for me, was bored throughout
Had no idea 10cc were so proggy
Incredible vocal performance throughout and the songs are pretty good too. Well earned 4
Really enjoyed this, knew the hits and thought the filler was all pretty nice
Mad how 4 songs that go on for 45 minutes keeps me interested throughout. Some huge sound on this and sounds quite far ahead of its time
Loved reading about this guy, sounds insane. Great music though, I love the 80s
I am not sure what this vocal style is but I never want to hear it again
One belter of a song, the rest not so much
Some really good bits in the album ruined by a bit of nonsense
Absolute shite made even worse by the final song oh yoko
Very good, started slow but grew into it
Found this pretty tiresome
Not what I was expecting, maybe sound better on lsd but enjoyed regardless
Some really cool bits but a load of shite on here. Just squeezes a 3
Better than their other material for me. Still not mind blowing
Not as bad as I was expecting
Better than expected, had boring moments
Thought these were a soul band
Absolutely class, shame he was a prick
Idk who this is and I don’t like it
Enjoyed this quite a lot, never heard of them before
Besides the hits this really didn’t do that much for me
Very good, should’ve watched this guy at glasto instead of the howler of a performance by charli xcx
Indian sunset such a great song
Certainly was electronic music
Today I found out where the jackass theme tune came from
I just don’t like this kind of music. Gets a point for the recognisable songs
Forgot I saw these live until this listen
Very cool. Especially like the slayer riff
Closing your eyes and pretending you’re sat in a courtyard in south France drinking bottles of red on a warm clear night really adds to the experience
Sorry lads but there’s a lot of tracks here that shouldn’t have made the album. When it’s good it’s great
Recognisable hits on here
A rarely enjoyable police album
So overplayed but it is brilliant
Sounds like someone pissing around on a keyboard
Started really well but died out quite a lot
Found this to be largely quite irritating
Pretty generic blues, really didn’t blow me away
Absolutely mental. There was a bit around half way through where it resembled music. Not a good album but glad it was included on this list
Surprised to know so many of these songs
Remember it being better. Still great
This one didn’t need to be on here
Don’t think you can claim to like music if you don’t like this absolute classic. Some of the best guitar work ever recorded
Why have I never listened to this in full before. Completely brilliant
I love deep purple but I don’t think live albums belong on this list. Space truckin went on way way too long. Being there I’m sure it was great but it doesn’t translate on record
I like some Radiohead albums, I don’t like this one
Pretty weird, kinda dig it
Never saw myself enjoying a snoop dogg album
Good at points, boring at others
Really liked the las track, wasn’t massively won over throughout
Really not my kind of music, found it really boring. Better than 1 star though
Love Peter Gabriel. Couple of tracks not great so just shy of a 5
Quite a few hits on this one
Sorry Alice but this wasn’t great
If anyone ever needs to torture me for information just make me listen to this album again. I’ll break immediately
Very easy 5. Back to back hits
Loved the background of this album. Cool representation of loads of types of world music
Acdc found a sound and stuck with it
The cover of imagine really threw me off
Bruce at his very best. He should tour the album
