It's hard to evaluate such a release 53 years later. In today's world where track length is rapidly shrinking to fit the TikTok format, listening to the twenty-minute version of "Space Truckin'" is quite an interesting challenge. But back then, I can only imagine what an impression this live release must have made. I still prefer the polished studio versions of good songs. (Except for "Smoke on the Water" – it's really hard to take that song seriously, you know.) 3/5
This release did nothing for me. It didn't leave any impression at all; it was terribly boring.
Interesting guitar sound, short songs, relaxed atmosphere – these are the strengths of this album. Overall, it's not really my kind of music, so an average rating.
Certainly a strong album from Billy Corgan, where he expanded on the ideas from his debut, but his best work was still ahead.
Classic hard rock, all musicians at the peak of their game. For the masterpiece "Child in Time" alone, it deserves the highest score. One of Deep Purple's best albums.
An interesting release that defined the emergence of the Britpop genre. You can really hear where the early Oasis drew their inspiration from. However, while Oasis immediately grab you with their bold and straightforward sound, The Stone Roses now come across as very modest and enigmatic—which isn't a drawback, they're just different.
Like a bad trip on a Brazilian beach where the end is near. The cover does the music full justice.

"Cowboys and Angels," "They Won't Go When I Go" — these songs have always been somewhere nearby, as if they were always with me. In my childhood, my father very often listened to George Michael, specifically this album, so it's difficult for me to evaluate this album objectively. Magnificent vocals, an airy sound, subtle arrangements — it's George Michael's best album.
If this album were a soundtrack to a movie or a computer game, the songs would truly shine and be more memorable. It's a bit boring.
Perfect for a quiet weekday evening: a half-empty bar and a cold beer.
A second Britpop album, and once again the music is so tedious and dragged out. Why are there so many songs? It's such a slog to get through...
Had a great dance after work! I adore funk, especially when it's done well. Iconic work, definitely.
The album is a pioneer of jazz fusion. It sounds much better than its followers with their catchy bass lines.
Such an interesting guitarist — like a prog-rock player doing his best to break free from the band's stylistic limits. A curious album, I might revisit it.
It took me a while to get around to listening to this album; I thought it would be a completely dated release. Actually, some modern bands sound like this now, so it's a decent, solid release.

That default 2000s indie rock sound: fingerpicked guitars, a pretentiously soulful vocal delivery, girls swoon, boys get sad.
A cool mix of intricate songs and Roxette-style tracks. The last song was great — very impressive.
Fantastic shit. Ate it and want more.
The whole album feels like one long, weeping song.
Despite my extensive experience listening to metal music, to my surprise, I've listened to a Judas Priest album for the first time. I expected to hear something a bit different, more in the vein of the song "Painkiller." In the end, I got an album of mid-tempo songs, which is more akin to hard rock. "Breaking the Law" is a hit for sure; I liked the ending of "Steeler," where some genuine heavy metal broke through. Despite the cult status of this album, I can't rate it higher than a 3. p.s. Iron Maiden is better.
Well, this 60s psychedelia just doesn't click with me at all. If it weren't for the pleasant female voice and the occasionally interesting guitar parts, it would be just awful. When the guitarist starts singing, or rather, bleating, it makes you want to turn it off, honest to God. 2 out of 5, largely thanks to the female vocals.
Unexpectedly, I ended up listening to the album several times. It has a certain potential that will only reveal itself over time. I'll give it a provisional 4 out of 5; I'll definitely revisit it after some time has passed.
It helped me achieve complete focus. I was listening at work and managed to get through a lot of routine tasks without getting distracted by my phone. Highly recommended!
A decent effort, but their best albums are definitely still to come. If Disintegration doesn't make the 1001 albums list, I want no part in it.
For some reason, Björk just doesn't click with me. My head gets it, but my heart doesn't.
Despite the rhythm section's attempt to make the songs somewhat more interesting, the mindless buzzing of the guitar and the damn bleating of the vocalist completely undermine their efforts. I barely managed to get through it.
If aliens ever come to Earth and ask what reggae is,just play them this album.
