Loved the groove and the percussion is amazing. Such a nice intro definitely my jam. Free-form guitar is the only skip ouch my ears. Would've been a 5 if not for that

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Oct 16 2025

Took some warming up to. Such a nice niche vibe of soulful lyrics and calm composition. Sleek 70s soul sound

The Cars by The Cars
Oct 17 2025

Big hits and when its not a big hit its a big vibe. Love the fun energy, not afraid of some groove and some silliness. Can't fault it

Oct 20 2025

What a sound. Guitar ranges from incredibly powerful to sincere and sweet. Each song has a passion to it. Highly recomend

At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Oct 21 2025

As always first listen not as good as the last. Big sound, very bluesy, very guitary. Very good if love the guitar Great blues rock performance

Kings Of The Wild Frontier by Adam & The Ants
Oct 23 2025

Absolute incoherence. Could not get into it no matter how hard it tried. Sometimes it would start to feel good and then fuck it up New wave can stay where it belongs

Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan
Oct 24 2025

Not offensive and not jump out of your seat and jam. Just well balanced pleasing music with the country vibes. Crazy lyrics this guy is looney.

Oct 27 2025

Another nice peaceful album with a very strong hit with clocks Never lost itself just stuck to its guns. Very well produced with the strings and all instrumentation involved imo but not super fun jump out of your seat so keeping it at 4

Oct 28 2025

Great production very charismatic can see why its popular. Some make feel cool some sad some disgusted what a roller-coaster. Not all what im looking for in music but can appreciate the production

Oct 29 2025

Prog Rock has so much charm and minimal upsets. High highs and few mids sounds pretty good to me

Oct 31 2025

Very creative yse of layering makes some interesting songs particularly at the start Very heartfelt which brings it up but brought back down by some songs being just noise although I guess thats what they were going for. Enjoyable!

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Nov 03 2025

Didn't realise what was going on till halfway through definitely needs multiple listens. Movie in song form pretty interesting and obviously know it as influential. Because of its importance and how it tells a great story got to give it 5

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Nov 04 2025

What a beat wow rap rock certainly had its time. Lots of anger and passion and fun. An experience I liked

Mr. Tambourine Man by The Byrds
Nov 05 2025

So pleasant and nice the whole way through. Then the alternate leads come through and bring it all together with something different. High 4 rounding up to 5 because no faults

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Nov 06 2025

Needed a second listen for me but once if clicked wow. I don't think I've ever heard so much pain and sadness and anger all at once before. Very powerful with everything clicking into place just right nothing is overdone. Other than being a total bummer this is a great album so a 4

Juju by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Nov 07 2025

Punchy and moody punk love it. Almost gives teen Jesus and the jean teasers vibes but 50 years early. Finally good ot hear female vocals . Firm 4 could be a 5 with at least one hit

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Nov 08 2025

Funky as. Very fun love the vibes. Can be repetitive but the keys send me. Can't give a 5 because I know parliament do better but this is a classic funk for me

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Nov 08 2025

The weight is the best out of here. Nothing to griping for me

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Nov 09 2025

This one is full of fun and energy. Good sound and diversity and it doesn't fall off. Alright is such a fun one

Marquee Moon by Television
Nov 10 2025

Good vibes with the titular track but nothing to super duper grip me. Sounds ahead of its time and I like the use of jazz elements instead of blues. On review, this is actually really good and unique I think its worth a listen.

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Nov 11 2025

-1 from 3 for being Nazi. Starts strong but meanders and loses impact.

The New Tango by Astor Piazzolla
Nov 12 2025

Good to give it a go and crikey how they even play the vibraphone like that is a mystery. But really have to lock in to enjoy it otherwise it just passes by

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Nov 13 2025

I mean it's fine but I does not have ANYTHING special for me. I'd rather play anything else with character

Elephant by The White Stripes
Nov 15 2025

Diverse rock love the electrical piano which pokes its head through every now and again. For a rock fan this is a 5 theres bluesy to cool punk to even a little ballad. Fun and diverse

In It For The Money by Supergrass
Nov 16 2025

Good music, but not as good as their debut. Love the horns in this one

Tellin’ Stories by The Charlatans
Nov 17 2025

Good sound only gets better as the album goes on. I like the organ and looking at the band I think they have more keyboard in earlier album. Definitely something to sus.

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Nov 18 2025

Actually pretty diverse but once they get into their grungy stuff its a bit tragically bad. I think i have to round to a 3 though because their range is pretty creative

Idlewild by Everything But The Girl
Nov 19 2025

Great start. Its very peaceful I like the style but needs attention to be valued. The group seems crazy though with a very long career and changes in sounds definitely one to sus out more

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Nov 20 2025

Alright and pretty good. I like talking heads

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Nov 24 2025

Had to go back to finish it. Experimental and not in a good way. Im certain it was influential given the time of its release but it is just such an unpleasant long tiresome listen i cant put up with it. I thought it was because i was listening on way back from work so listened when i was more energetic but it still put me to sleep and bored me senseless

Debut by Björk
Nov 25 2025

Very exploratory definitely needs 2 listens. Really love tje vocals some times and feel like theyre too much at others. But the production is very good and you can tell it is all with intent and not just experiementing with nonsense. Need to listen to other bjork i reckon

Shalimar by Rahul Dev Burman
Dec 09 2025

Alright but idk indian so just sounded like poorly recorded old indian music

Pyromania by Def Leppard
Dec 10 2025

Classic hard rock with a bit of glam. Enough to stick in your head and probably would have sounded insanely innovational and powerful back in its time but now feels generic and overdone. I think that it sounds like that is a good thing because it gives this album a genre defining status

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Dec 11 2025

Really liked the keys on this one. Definitely got groggy and rock opera-y but that's alright because kept it in the groove allot

Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento
Dec 12 2025

Couldn't relate but sounded pleasant

Want One by Rufus Wainwright
Jan 18 2026

Didn't really like it was very droney singing. Some songs got stuck in my head after second listen though

Caetano Veloso by Caetano Veloso
Jan 19 2026

Didn't get the lyrics, nothing together grip me, liked the composition mostly

Jan 20 2026

Takes 2 or more listens but can see the appeal. I liked the instrumentals of the later tracks almost felt like electronic music how you need to notice the subtleties between the bars to appreciate. Lead singer is a mad man

Jan 21 2026

Sounded so stupid at first but omg just turned funny and dont you know it slaps. Fun concept

Suicide by Suicide
Jan 22 2026

Scary. But I totally dig

My Generation by The Who
Jan 24 2026

Really liked this one. Had that 50's boy band sound with a bit more oomph to it. Really liked the singers style

L'Eau Rouge by The Young Gods
Jan 26 2026

A bit long for the french heavy rock. But had a pretty unique sound just not that pleasurable

The Yes Album by Yes
Jan 27 2026

Idk, it just sounds tiring after a while. Complex and with talented musicians but doesn't take a pause or actually stop to consider what does a good song sound like

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Feb 05 2026

Really strong opening and kept delivering. Really liked the feelings and vibes of this one and to end it with the live performances sounding so clean but gritty at the same time. Loved it, great music
