Great album

Gene Clark is a fine writer. Some nice tunes on here. Nothing that made the charts in it's time but his songs are what they call adult contemporary.

A fantastic debut album from Ozzie and the band. Great musicianship well written songs and Ozzie is at his best as lead singer.

A solid opening release showing promise and potential. A ez listening album with a variety of musical genres.

A fantastic sophomore album from Bob Dylan with several classic songs in the protest/folk vein. On this album you will listen to what was about to come on his ensuing albums of the 60s as far as song content. Reflections and commentary on social injustices. More importantly a continuing running theme of lost love songs.

Different from previous albums. Jazzy and experimental for the era. Stretching out into avant-garde and not as lyrically strong. Nice listen on a quiet evening.

Some great stuff on here. Good mix of rap hip hop and storytelling.

A solid sophomore effort. 3 great songs and some nice musical numbers.

Surprisingly good album. Diverse songs covering many musical genre. Some songs I thought I was listening to Bowie.

An excellent album by Neil n Crazy Horse. Some nice ballads a homage to rock n roll and his grungy Powderfinger. Always singing about social issues too.

They are pretty boring without Nico and JJ Cale. Pale Nlue Eyes and I'm Beginning to See The Light standout.

I liked this album. Very listenable with soft tender melodies with an edge to them. Some sound Bowie like. They keep it edgy with some of their longer pieces.

This album started out with what I thought would be potentially at least interesting but turned out to be a completely boring production. Nice cover though.

Chilled depressed out break up album.

A classic with my favorite song of theirs' Sloop John B. Quite possibly the most perfect album ever.

Interesting album with that unique "church" sound. Both vocalists are very good.

This was her crowning glory and unfortunately she didn't get to bask in it for one second. Highlights are Me n Bobby McGee Mercedes Benz Move Over opening track and the closing track Get It While You Can. She can really belt it out on some tracks usually the better known tunes. On the others it sometimes sounds like cauterwaling. I like her though.

A great opus album for a great performer

A solid release from this group extending their innovative style of classical/jazz/rock blended with intelligent thought provoking lyrical styles of Lake/Sinfield.

How innovative thus album was. Great sounds coming from the studio as the band members explore different techniques on reverb and recording methods. Sound playing from the band too.

I was very disappointed with this album. All it had was the great single release How Can You Mend....

I like Snoop Dog and his style

A classic and some say his best album ever.

Some well written songs on here some with a twist of humor. Dolly has a great voice with that classic country flavor to it.

Pretty good album carried by a couple good songs.

Bjorks voice is phenomenal. Their music is so interesting compared to what was going on in this time frame.

What a style he had. Not a big piano lover but T. Monk was as kool as Miles. Might go get me a beret and some hip glasses.

Some nice songs on here. Popular Indian music is overlooked in the west. They have some really good singers on here.

I liked the musical atmosphere created on this album. Lyrics are simple but thought provoking and PJs voice is eerily angelic.

Despite all the help it's only a mediocre debut album perhaps he grows with his future releases.

Well they certainly have a unique sound remind me of the Kinks. Nothing really jumped out though on their debut album.

They have a grungy sound and you can hear their influence on the 90s grunge scene.

I feel his 3rd release is not as good as his 1st 2 albums. Still a good listen and it was very daring to go it alone just him b his guitar.

What can you say about this British group who are the ultimate songwriters of English life. Very underrated and yet they consistently charted with one hit after another. How can you not like a rick band who were banned from America.

Very possibly the greatest rock album ever made. Innovative unique recording techniques and excellent musicianship. Thoughtful sensitive lyrics and a nice psycedelic sound. Alan Parsons as the engineer was a big plus.

This was very interesting and I enjoyed it. Sets a mood for being in 60s Paris. He is very talented. Sure I have heard some of his music on French movie soundtracks.

A stacked album with hit songs from the opener to the closer. The Mac were a finely tuned musical group on this one.

Never heard of this guy but this is a lush album well produced. A nice chill out LP for after work or a slow weekend. It helps to have Pharrell Williams assisting you too.

I like 50 cent body of work on this LP. He has a good delivery and some decent lyrics. Nothing going on here but gangsta. I'm sure it helped signing onto Eminems label and his experience helped.

A nice ez listen. Yes a head trip. Some nice ambient sounds and lyrical descriptions of life. Not a big fan of electronica but this one I like.

A strong release from this group after a key member moving on to a solo career. Eight miles high eas a landmark single and they developed the space cowboy sound.

An excellent showcasing the guitar 🎸 of Jimi Hendrix with a solid rhythm section. Similar shows off his engineering skills too. Solid songwriting and psychedelic sounds.

Sorry don't get this at all. It's the same beat thru out the song on almost every song. How did this reach platinum. The best cuts are with the singer on them. Also entirely too many songs.

I think they are the most experimental of progressive rock groups. This lineup is very unique with the addition of a percussion player who adds unique yet most pleasing sounds. Also Bill Bruford added on drums.

An excellent release from this band and the 1st with Mick Taylor's full song contribution .

Pleasantly surprised by this album with a smooth hip hop rap style and lyrics with a sense of humor.

They brought a refreshing musical style to pop rock. With smooth lush grooves fore runners og electronic pop. A couple very good songs here and some in depth playing on others. Bigger things on the horizon.

A great big disappointment for me. Very down n depressing music couldn't get into it. Maybe another listen another opinion in another mood.

An interesting concept album and it's a wonderful album with excellent production like most Jackson music albums. She has a very talented voice and well written sings.

What an incredible voice with some great songs and musicians backing her. I often forget about her when thinking of great female singers. Not anymore. Her voice is wonderful enough to carry any song.

His 3rd psyche rock album and his last critics say it's his best. I like his debut Are You Experienced? Better. His guitar work on this is faboulous.

A great pop group. Easy to see their popularity and obvious influence by other Brit bands. Somehow they make it their own with single charting songs and a great album.

Basically this album had a big hit single. The rest of the album has some good songs but none that stand out like Wishing Well

Yeah this was the punk sound coming out of England at the time. These guys were one of the better ones. They do it well with thrashing guitars and basic loud drum beats and a singer who shouts it loud n proud.

This album starts out strong with some interesting instrumentation but the sound is repetitions throughout the album. Some nice work on here though.

This album captured the hearts and minds of the young ladies from the 70s thru thr 80s with it's themes of young love and just. Well produced and well sung by it's creator. An excellent capsule of youthful living on the East Coast 70s.

This is an album with some interesting songs reflecting on the times when it was released. Musically sound and lyrically thought provoking.

This was some of the better electronica created at this time era. By now these guys had reached the pinnacle of their craft. I thoroughly enjoyed listening and relaxing to these cuts.

This was a great listen great rhythms of fusion blended with smooth vocals.

I really enjoyed these well written up tempo songs. I had never heard of Cole n his band the commotion until this listen.

WOW!!! What a jazz album. Wasn't getting into the first song but with each song it was like an epiphany growing with the last cut being the best jazz I ever heard.

One of the fine rock trios ever formed. They bring their version of blues and rock on this release. Some songs make you want to get up and groove to the beat and others get you down laid back chilling with the blues. Great lusten.

Nice mix of goth songs and a few pop songs. Smith has a way of creating a mist of darkness even on his most popular songs. He's a master lyricist of pure lovesongs.

Another very good album with well written and musically arranged songs but not his best album.

An excellent instrumental album and Zappa gets to shoe off his guitar virtuoso. Definitely one of his best from a huge catalog.
