Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Jul 02 2026

Old people voices was very strange, but this album holds Hazy Shade of Winter and Mrs Robinson, so it makes it worth it. 7/10

Jul 03 2026

The album successfully maintains its devotion to acoustic folk. It is a great listen, especially when driving on a long trip home, as was my case when I listened. Dylan is a lyrical genius and this was a great introduction to his music. Mr. Tambourine Man, Gates of Eden, and It’s Alright Ma are 3 powerhouses back to back.

Jul 05 2026

Very interesting sound. Don’t usually listen to moodier stuff like this but it was very good. 5-4=unity was a very unique listen. I love the transitions between 5/4 and 6/8

Brilliant Corners by Thelonious Monk
Jul 06 2026

At first I thought I wasn’t going to enjoy this album since Monk is a bit more avant garde in his style, but I was proven wrong. The album is full of complex sounds that shouldn’t work but come together to create a very unique listening experience

Faust IV by Faust
Jul 09 2026

Jennifer was my favorite from this album, shout out to krautrock as well

Street Signs by Ozomatli
Jul 10 2026

Idk what I was expecting but this surpassed all of my expectations. A very good album blending rock, hip hop, and traditional Latin music.

Murmur by R.E.M.
Jul 13 2026
Feast of Wire by Calexico
Jul 15 2026

Some interesting points, but not enough to get me hooked

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
Jul 16 2026

Agnus Dei alone elevates the whole album

Make Yourself by Incubus
Jul 20 2026

Just emo dad rock and it’s great

2112 by Rush
Jul 21 2026

Not my first time listening to this album, but the pure genius of a sci-fi story told through a sweeping rock album is incredible. This is easily one of my favorite albums

Arular by M.I.A.
Jul 23 2026

Very clubby, which makes it a very interesting listen while working. I’m with it though.

Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jul 24 2026

Had no idea they made Maps, was a pleasant surprise to be sure. The album holds up well otherwise, I love the female grunge vocals

Tapestry by Carole King
Jul 25 2026

Absolutely masterful composition. Each song is unique and soulful, and closing out with Tapestry and A Natural Woman is amazing

Out of Step by Minor Threat
Jul 26 2026

Not for me. Like the fast-paced sound but too cluttered

The White Album by Beatles
Jul 30 2026

This was already one of my favorite albums. Not every song on it is great, but every song belongs, and the heavy hitters of the Beatles in their prime carries this to an easy 5. Shout out Rocky Raccoon.

The Nightfly by Donald Fagen
Jul 31 2026

Didn’t know what to expect when I saw a 1982 pop album, but this was interesting. The album moves between pretty standard yacht rock and more innovative music pretty well.

Songs In The Key Of Life by Stevie Wonder
Aug 02 2026

There’s a reason my buddy considers this the best album of all time

British Steel by Judas Priest
Aug 03 2026

Better than I expected.

Diamond Life by Sade
Aug 04 2026

Smooth Operator is a banger but the rest of the album was mostly so-so for me

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Aug 05 2026

This album reaches the highest highs, but not consistently enough for me to rate it among the greats

Golden Hour by Kacey Musgraves
Aug 07 2026

Not for me. Objectively good, but I’ve never been a fan of modern pop country.

Junkyard by The Birthday Party
Aug 16 2026

I understand why this album is included, but that doesn’t mean I like it.
