Not bad... has elements of Zepplin? and the Police
Raw, weird combination of black sabbath and punk
funky, not what i expected
Hard to judge, so many years later, how different this was from its contemporaries
Hopefully i'll get thriller
Beatles-esque concept album. not my fav.
Classic. One of the best by one of the best.
Fun listen. Has some classics.
Sounds epic, definitely needs a closer listen than I can give to it.
Not the kind of music I like. Too repetitive and spacey.
This album forms almost a quarter of the tracks on his Greatest Hits collection (5 out of 21), but they're all good.
Did not expect this to be country.
Surprisingly funny proto-punk.
I liked this a lot more than expected.
Recognized one of the tracks ("Same Ole Love"), otherwise I had no clue about this artist.
Beautiful voice, not really my style of music but her talent is amazing.
Was much more interesting than I had expected. Must have sounded completely different from everything else in 1974.
Long album but good beats.
Always smooth Sinatra sings several version of Girl of Ipanema.
Johnny, what are you doing?
One of the classics, so many good tracks.
I greatly prefer Pretty Hate Machine. Other than the hits (Closer, Hurt) this just sounds like noise and screaming.
Way too mellow for my tastes.
How is this only 37 minutes long? Felt like an eternity.
Sounds like it was recorded last year. Awesome.
Much more interesting than I anticipated. Sitar-remakes of Jumpin' Jack Flash and Light My Fire? Awesome.
Could not get all the way through it.
Not my favorite, took several days to get all the way through.
Took 2 weeks to listen to the whole album.
This rocked more than I thought it would. Excellent listen.
My father always said, the best 45 minute punk album is 21 minutes long.
Interesting, but some of that was hard to get through.
Such an amazing, powerful voice.
I'm really digging this - hearing so many other influences across all the tracks.
Classic guitar rock. No Stairway!
The hit - "Seven Nation Army" - doesn't sound like much else on the rest of the record. Everything was a good listen, I just don't have a deep connection to this band like I do other music.
Much enjoyed this one. Everyone knows "Bang a Gong" but I liked all the tracks.
Noisy but entertaining. And only 36 minutes long!
Nice fusion of rock and jazz.
Had it on while assembling furniture. Nice grooves buy not really my style.
Awesome early punk, can hear the influence on later bands (Go-Go's, The Waitresses)
Never heard of this artist before, very cool fusion of soul and jazz. Not my normal musical choice - not much on this list is - but I enjoyed it.
Classic 80s, great vibes.
I'd give this a 4 if we were just comparing to better Metallica albums, but this album was so influential on my own musical taste and an inspiration to learn guitar back in high school I'll have to give it a 5 just for its influence on my personal life.
Not sure what I expected; the music is pretty mellow considering Willie Nelson's reputation.
Is it bad that I didn't totally hate this? I struggled through the last 20 minutes but the first 40 were ok.
Hearing this for the first time, I can appreciate the influence on later bands that I'm more familiar with.
