Apr 12 2024

The hit - "Seven Nation Army" - doesn't sound like much else on the rest of the record. Everything was a good listen, I just don't have a deep connection to this band like I do other music.

Never heard of this artist before, very cool fusion of soul and jazz. Not my normal musical choice - not much on this list is - but I enjoyed it.

Metallica by Metallica
Mar 24 2025

I'd give this a 4 if we were just comparing to better Metallica albums, but this album was so influential on my own musical taste and an inspiration to learn guitar back in high school I'll have to give it a 5 just for its influence on my personal life.

Mar 26 2026

I've never been able to get into these narrative concept albums, and this one, with its odd off-meter rapping, was a hard listen.

The Grand Tour by George Jones
Mar 27 2026

I messed up and listened to the greatest hits album (which contains The Grand Tour) instead of The Grand Tour itself. Well, 16 songs later I understand why country music got the reputation being about broken relationships, sadness for things lost, and drinking. Lots of drinking. One song out of 16 was happy, and it still had lots of drinking. The Grand Tour was probably better but I can't listen to any more country today.

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Mar 30 2026

Lots of bluesy picking and shredding here!

Hypocrisy Is The Greatest Luxury by The Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy
Apr 02 2026

Liked this more than I thought I would. Were they an influence on 2 Skinnee Js?
