Catchy dad rock strikes again

Hated the vocals a lot but this album disturbed/even scared me to earn very respectable 4 stars

I don't know what rating to give here because I only listened to highway to hell and then the next song was too sleazy. So I'm treating it as a single

-top 1 album openers of all time One of my fav moments in this album is jay z being asked to write a verse about monstrosity of fame and licherally just going Frankenstein, Godzilla, Dracula....guy has no range 'so much head I woke up in sleepy hollow' I don't know if this album has aged a bit because some albums have extraterrestrial levels of production these days but it's still great

Enjoyable but failed to move me somehow. Having different weather might have helped

It's perfect, sure, but maybe I could have paused it for a bit between the ages of 16-17 and spent some time outside with other kids

Not sure how confident i am commenting on this, I think she's got a very lovely voice and the Wikipedia page is quite a saga of struggle, fame and incredible talent.

Pleasant but samey

I tried listening with an open mind but they have created something monstrous here. Some of the ugliest music ever.

80s but in a way that I despise

I liked quite a lot of it but some songs felt either quite filler or cringe (Jamaica jerk off)

Elliott Smith walked so that Sufjan Stevens could fly Those arpeggios are pretty sweet though.

One of my least favourite albums by one of my least favourite britpop acts

I love this album. Complete ego trip of some of the greatest rock song writers. The richness and self mythologising and stupid pastiche songs and some of the best rock pieces ever written. while my guitar gently weeps morphing into happiness is a warm gun is some of the coolest sounding things from the 60s.

I really love some of the songs here and some are just musical seesaw instrumentals

From the two songs I could stand to hear, not bad!!! That Eric Clapton touch is obvious. Just not my thing. My dad would go apeshit if I gifted him this rec as a vinyl

The vocalists voice is very grating, the lyrics dumb, the instrumentation very bland
