My “first” Dylan album, and still my favourite. There are, of course, better individual tracks throughout his career, but as a group, these work best. Something different about the sound that is not captured elsewhere

The Dan are an oddity. I shouldn’t like them, but I kind of do! Good album; not my favourite though
I’m not a fan. Not my go to choice music but gave it a chance to listen through. I found the vocals and voice had to listen to, and whilst musically there certainly were high points, there were too many low one for me. Can see why it may be popular though.
Blimey! Not sure how I’ve missed this. Yes, enjoyed the album; possibly not my go to style, but good none the less. Listen to “the music” generally, so need to review again to big a bit deeper. Which I will do. No frame of reference for rating, but 4*
A lot has been said about how good early REM is - and I do agree, there is a lot of good work in their catalogue. But, this album actually disappoints on first listen. Yes, the opening track "Radio Free Europe" is a major standout, but to me, the rest feel weak by comparison. There doesn't seem much to meet the album start, and it dwindles into a mix of jangly indie pop. OK, so there is lot to like, and you can see the genesis of what they were to become, but needs more time, and perhaps the right time, to appreciate. 3* on first listen
I found this quite a poor album. I tried to like it, but it felt a bit forced; more like a covers band, or a band trying to create something from “10 years ago”. And failing.
Not really for me, this one!
Not for me this!
Never saw the appeal. It's ok, but not groundbreaking. Perhaps I should have been there!
Started ok. Fell away. Not my bag really
All good. Apart from the vocals on the title track!
Grrrrrrrrrrrreat!
Yeah! First Flaming Lips LP I heard, and probably my favourite.
An oddity this. Hard to get into, and clearly of it’s time. But ok
It's ok. Gets a bit repetitive. Possibly more of a 3.5, but not a 4
Five starts for the original album. The additional tracks added to the album do not quite reach that standard, so would lose half a star for that!
