1001 Albums Summary

-so far its funky dad music and i’m SO into it -controversial take, not a huge fan of reelin in the years -favorites are definitely dirty work and change of the guard -its not super my thing but its good!!!! and i can tell why this was and still is a big deal of an album!!!!! makes me interested in listening to steely dans other albums

-this sort of rock is definitely more my thing than steely dan -i have definitely heard jump before, which makes sense because its from the 80’s and is. literally van halen -guitar solos are SICK AS FUCK -favorites probably panama, drop dead legs, and i’ll wait -(note that guitar solo at the end of drop dead legs is awesome) -sucker for some guitar man. guitar solos are making or breaking my favorites on this one -overall this album is actually REALLY good. i enjoyed it a lot and am glad this was my first introduction to van halen

-custard pieeeEEEeE -literally so funny i Love it sm -this is so different from van halen but at the same time similar -favorites so far are in my time of dying, -love the guitar here so much MORE than other rock bands i’ve listened to

-gotta say, LOVE an intro song. definitely helps u get into the vibes of an album -definitely a different sound from what i’ve listened to so far -this album isn’t BAD. its just not exactly out there enough for me -i do enjoy the cure, and even though this album isn’t full of big hits like their other albums, i still enjoyed! -favorites: at night -i definitely think this cure album specifically is moodier and darker

-so far this is a really cool sound -the guitar in more than a feeling is SICK AS HELL -favorites: rock and roll band -oddly enough i’m getting major queen vibes from this album -like the vocals and guitar specifically -i like this more than i thought tbh -let me take you home tonight gets CRAZY at the end

-so far…….very interesting -sounds are funky but i do prefer lyrics in my song -peaches en regalia sounds like video game music and that is a compliment -favorites: willie the pimp -only like willie the pimp because theres Some words and the guitar is fun to listen to -i really like sounds! but i don’t like just 8 minutes of sounds with no lyrics -its the reason i don’t love classical music -son of mr green genes is kinda cool tho

-first album i’ve gotten from an artist i’ve listened to before -LOVE beck -epro is a cool song -favorites: epro, hell yes, -beck has such a cool sound -love beck love his cool wacky ass sounds LOVE BECK! -hell yes was so cool -beck is amazing at what he does and i REALLY liked this album

-things to know about me? i love a live album -i LOVE his voice -the bits where he speaks at the end of the songs is lovely and fab -favorites: baby please don’t go, i got my mojo working, meanest woman -always have loved this type of music, but this album isn’t my favorite of them

-EXCITED about the genre change happening for me rn -NOTHING compares to this shit, the stuff that came out in the 90’s -like seriously this is so cool -loving the beat and flow on these tracks!! -favorites: living in the world today, i gotcha back -seriously, this album is so good. like hello????? ghostface killah?????

-vicious was a cool song -i don’t think i’ve listened to lou reed before? -but i definitely know of him -love that it sounds like he isn’t trying to sing -thats not a read i promise -favorites: vicious -i’ve heard walk on the wild side before -i like how chill all of these songs are

-have never heard of this artist in my life -so far it sounds cool -the sounds and how they are used is very interesting -this persons voice in these songs is very pretty -i don’t know if i’m necessarily vibing with this tho? -its not bad. just not for me -favorites: hell is round the corner, brand new you’re retro -wait hold on hell is round the corner is so familiar!!!!!

-first of all, orange juice is an awesome band name -you can tell this is an 80’s album, but not in a bad way at all -the sound is really fun!!!! i like the singers voice -favorites: turn away, i can’t help myself -i just love the funky sound going on here -loved the end of breakfast time -SAX AT THE END OF I CANT HELP MYSELFFFF

-very excited to finally listen to joy division --favorites: a means to an end, twenty four hours -has a very cool sound -the darker sound makes sense for that genre at that time -i don’t hate it but i don’t Love it -i have a feeling joy divisons other album is better

-this feels so much like beastie boys but. better -like. DAMN -TRICKKYYYY -HAD NO IDEA IT WAS BY THEM!!!!!! -favorites:it’s tricky, -walk this way is sick as hell -love a good screamy sing in a song -

-okay these songs are SO long -very cool sound -album cover is SO moody in SUCH a cool way -okay that little live bit in the clap is cool as hell -im going to be honest the songs are too long for me -other than that the music itself is good!

-i’ve heard this guy before!!!! -he had a song trend on tiktok -i Love songs that are in spanish so this is so nice -favorites: mentira, -i like the switch between spanish and french -listening to this while making breakfast is such a vibe

-already the first song is added to the playlist! -so GOOD!!!! -favorites: everlasting light, the only one, -i have not heard of these guys before so i’m excited!!!! -next girl is like this dark cool sort of instrument thing i LOVE! -might be my first 5 star album 🤔 -WOOOOOAH THOSE SOUNDS TOWARDS THE END OF TIGHTEN UP

-oh i know this song! (roundabout) -cans and brahms sounds like the music in a play when the king walks on stage -its cool stuff just not for me personally -are people gonna get mad at me if i say this feels like middle of the road rock 🫤 -okay love five per cent for nothing. just a bunch of funky sounds! -fade in from long distance runaround to the fish was cool as hell

-so far very slow and sad -his voice is very deep and interesting -i’m really not trying to be a hater but they all sound really similar -i like the lyrics for the songs tho! -the piano is nice

-something about bruce springsteens vocie….. so comforting -a lot of his songs and lyrics are So rejuvenating -guitar in second half of badlands is GREAT -adam raised a cain is SO GOOD -like the yelling and intensity of it WORKS -favorites: adam raised a cain -something in the night feels holy -overall loved this album and tbh it almost got 5 stars……

-rolling stones is hitting different than other rock albums i have listened to -there is something about them man…… -loving rocks off -favorites: sweet virginia, -i like how varying the instruments on this song -sweet virginia is almost a little country -this album is cool and definitely one of the better rock (?) albums i’ve listened to

-this music feels very early 2000’s -i dig it tho!!!! -goldfinger is a solid song, only two songs in!!!!! -girl from mars kind of average but not bad! -favorites: goldfinger, -THE TRANSITION TO i’d give you anything!!!!!!!! -gone the dream is slower and sweeter -i like angel interceptor the lyrics are cute -really like darkside lightside

-miles davis!!!!! -its really just a bunch of funky instruments together -it sounds really good tho!!!! just not super my thing -miles davis is definitely a legend so it can’t go less than three stars but idk if i would listen to it again

-intro is HILARIOUS -the magic number is SO FUN -im loving this so far -i had a feeling it would be fun because of the album art but i LOVE it -favorites: magic number, eye know, say no go -change in speak is more chill -going back to the gameshow bit in the intro is SO FUNNY -idk if this is something i’d listen to all the time but its genuinely so much fun to listen to

-already i like this joy division album better than the last one i listened to -i’ve heard disorder before -favorites: disorder, wilderness -idk this stuff is moody but not in a tickle my brain way -im trying so hard to like joy division i really am -idk. like this music is a little dull to me -i do like it better than the other one tho DEFINITELY

-okay so i have this album on vinyl and really like it -BUT! its not her best -i personally think folklore is better -but i really like cowboy like me, gold rush, and right where you left me, coney island -i have to give this album four stars and i’ll explain why - marjorie and right where you left me are two of my favorite songs ever period -if folklore showed up on this list it would get four stars also but again. marjorie and right where you left me are the ONLY reason this album gets four stars

-TLC!!!!! -icons. legends. the moment. -creep is a bouncy fun song -but we all know which song im waiting for -loooove kick your game -favorites: kick your game, waterfalls -WATERFALLLLLSSSSS -we all already know this album is getting four stars i mean come on now -the interludes really help make this album

-okay this is so interesting so far -that noise in the background is so ominous -its definitely a darker intense sound which i enjoy -i definitely like these songs but idk if i would listen to them again on my own -favorites: all i need, sueisfine -overall this album is really cool

the clash!!!! i know these guys -going back to the OG punk stuff. which i love -its a lot of fun to listen to -favorites: hate & war, garageland -overall this is the type of music i wouldn’t usually listen to but im into it -im going to honest i dont like it as much as i thought i was going to -but its not bad!!!!!

-okay this is already WAY different from my other albums this week -this is way more my style!!!!! -when it all settles and the guitar comes in is so nice -favorites: bloodsucker -the guitar riff for this one is my FAV! (bloodsucker) -i LOVE some good screaming -i love when i find a band i’ve never heard of and hear some cool ass rock songs

-this GUITARRRRR -favorites: double crossing time, -i LOVEEE me some blues -like this is so awesome -im groovin to the guitar in EVERY song -this music is just genuinely so good feeling -listening to blue always makes me feel good always always -that harmonica is pulling SO MUCH WEIGHT -it better have gotten credits and pay for all it did for this album

-van morrison is tight as hell -vibes are very good -favorites: slim slow slider -these lyrics are also really beautiful -idk if i like this enough to listen again but i’m enjoying listening to it -these older albums sincerely need to stop with the 8+ minute songs. halfway through i have checked out mentally because they have not made it interesting enough to keep the song going that long -sorry i have simply hit my limit

-um jimi hendrix and that guitar are CRAZY -purple haze is a good song i see why this album is a HUGE deal -and a guitar solo is gonna hit for me every time -favorites: love and confusion -the guitar is really the star of this album -the lyrics aren’t super my thing -jimi hendrix is very much a legend, but this album itself personally is getting a 3 from me

-okay that intro song is HILARIOUS -this just seems like very average punk rock -like teen garage band punk rock -and some bands like that are really really good! -but i don’t super think this band is -the songs weren’t bad to listen to -definitely enjoy a lot of the rock on this list WAYYYYY more

-SO EXCITED for dolly parton -LOVE HER!!!! SO MUCH!!!!! -i’m already getting emotional at this first song -gosh her voice is STUNNING -traveling man is a cute song -this is the only country i have (so far!!!!) really genuinely liked -early morning breeze is easily my favorite on the album -it feels like a lullaby you sing to a kid in the summer -overall i love dolly parton and this album was fun to listen to

-my second van halen album!!!! -guitar is just as good as i remember -eruption is CRAZY -i HAVE heard you really got me before -they definitely are more traditional rock in this album than the other one i listened to -i’m the one is very cool -UH???? THE SHOO BE DOOP????? -was fully not expecting that at ALL -i really really like jamie’s crying, probably my favorite

-tori amos like the name sounds so familiar -but i honestly don’t think i have listened to her before -crucify is already such an interesting song -her voice is really beautiful -i definitely hear some kate bush and fiona apple -precious things is such an epic song -it should be in a magical fairy movie -these songs are really good but idk if i would necessarily ever listen to them again -happy phantom is definitely my favorite

-i haven’t listened to a lot of jay z -takeover has a pretty cool vibe so far -everytime i hear jay z i just think of new york state of mind -the beats are really interesting -this album does feel a bit slow -honestly not as good as jay z’s other stuff -hola’ hovito is probably my favorite -the song with eminem was really cool -this definitely is very new york, duh its jay z

-excited to listen to some brazilian music tbh -haven’t heard a lot of it before -i like the vibes of this first song -i like the horns in the background -he also has a nice voice -love when phones have little dooo do de dooos in the background -O filósofo is really really good, probably one of my favorites -OOO THE GUITAR IS OUTTT -meus filhos, meu tesouro is ALSO now a favorite -like the different sounds being used in the background with the instruments and singing

my first beatles/beatles adjacent album! -george harrison has such a nice voice -i like the funky album cover too -i’d have you anytime was a sweet chill song -favorites: i’d have you anytime, wah wah -loving this guitar bit on wah wah -im genuinely SHOCKED by how much i like this album -this is definitely a four star album, nothing less than that -like the vibes of art of dying -last half of the album gets a little boring but overall its a VERY good album

-never heard of this band or album -love a female lead singer tho -kinda cool guy vibe going on over here -idk, this album doesn’t feel that special compared to other punk rock -like its cool! but not super interesting to me -its not bad, but i wouldn’t listen again -also there isn’t one or more songs that really stand out to me among them, they kinda blend in -i do like everyones singing voices tho

-this first song is very haunting -i only know the popular bee gees songs so -theres something about the bee gees man -these songs are all so beautiful -this definitely is not the best bee gees album -but i am still enjoying it!

-baba o’riley is just so iconic -apparently this is my first the who album!!!! -i do like the singing -i really do like this better than a lot of the rock i’ve listened to -baba o’riley is sadly the only real banger on this albim methinks -if that weren’t the case i’d give it four stars

-haven’t actually listened to much of the go-go’s -first song is fun tho -really loving this high energy groovy vibe -feels very 80’s -favorites are lust to love -loving these songs tbh -THEY DID WE GOT THE BEAT? such an iconic song -one of the few not annoying popular songs from the 80’s (in my opinion) -i really love the vibe of most of these songs, especially fading fast -overall i really liked this! easy four stars for me

-i am SOO EXCITED about this -i LOVE the arctic monkeys, one of my favorites -i have listened to a few songs on this album but not all of them -the view from the afternoon is a GREAT album opener -i LOVE i bet you look good on the dancefloor -fake tales of san fran is a groovy fun bop -the guitar in arctic monkeys songs is some of my favorite guitar ever (brian may in queen is first place tho) -young alex turner you are everything to me -haven’t actually heard you probably couldn’t see for the lights but i really like it -vampires is so good…. -GUITAR AT THE END OF VAMPIRES IS CRAZY -LOOOOVE when the sun goes down -favorites: i bet you look good on the dancefloor, mardy bum, when the sun goes down, i bet you look good on the dancefloor -definitely 5 stars for me

-this first song isn’t really giving anything -never heard of this guy before, like the album cover -double vegetation is kinda crazy -pop off with those cries king -OH THIS ONE SOUNDS COOL -i do really like the guitar in all these songs but sadly thats the only part i Really like -these lyrics sure are interesting! -this album was definitely weird but in a fascinating way

-never heard of this band or this album, once again -this week really just gave me one artist and album i love and then a bunch of random other ones -this first song is pretty cool -the intro was really weird and spacey but i liked it -another song with a kooky intro! i dig it -loving the guitar in the beginning of leaves and sand -there are lots of funky sounds in this album -an easy three stars from me

-the very beginning of this sound so much like the strokes -i Love the horns in the back -i really like the slight harder rock version of like. the strokes going on here -i like this band that i had never heard of more than i thought i would -i do like the vibes they created in the studio that day -we Are all so groovy so true king -overall a solid four star album! i enjoyed that greatly

-this has to be my first album pre 1960’s -i have heard of buddy holly (weezer song) -i Love this kind of music -it sends me sooooo far back in time -but its too late tho 😭 -i really liked this, but it is in fact getting three stars -i love this type of music! but this album specifically isn’t one i’d listen to again

-STEVIE WONDERRRRR -very excited about this -GOD i forgot how nice stevie wonders voice is -first two songs are pretty average to me, redeeming quality is his voice -LOOOOVE living for the city -AND YOU CAN BET HE. BARELY MAKES A DOLLAR -golden lady is cuuuuute -HIGHER GROUND another favorite of mine -don’t you worry about a thingggg also love that one -overall i love stevie wonder and this album is an easy four stars for me

-never heard of this band or album tbh -first song has a very interesting vibe -EERIE beginning of this one omg -i REALLY like this song -staring at the sun is in the liked songs club -dreams was okay -love the dum dum dum dum dums in the back of this one -i love the vocals and how high they go -overall i am enjoying this -i wish half stars existed cause idk if this is 3 or 4 stars

-i don’t think i’ve heard ANY fatboy slim -THE FUNKS SO RUBBBER -i know this one!!!!! -first song was cool but kinda got old halfway through -lmao the “f*cking in heaven” is really funny” -okay so far gangster trippin is AWESOME -favorites are: gangster trippin, you’re not from brighton -this is an UNEXPECTED album for me. i do really like it -one or two songs stand out, but i don’t love this album and idk if i would listen to this album again

-highway to hell is literally one of the most known songs ever -however it is very good -i mean cmon, its ACDC -all these songs are very good but i was expecting that -kings of rock fr fr -every song is really good and also iconic -so for that, it is getting four stars from me

-this band seems familiar -which would make sense because its a newer album -this song is cool so far -i am actually really enjoying this music -although it sounds a bit like tv/movie montage music -these songs are very bright and fun -idk if this is necessarily my thing tho -but i am enjoying this listen! so 3 stars

-okayyyyy this seems really cool! -the album cover is also really tight -i like burnished a lot -the voice with the guitar and the instruments……REALLY WORKS -back at the farm being only instrumental was really really cool -i liked how it fits in with the rest of the album -LOVE street joy -the whole vibe and then THAT VOICE!!!! -bess st is a very cute song -is and is and is. so magical and cute -idk guys i think this is a four star album……

-i do like the groove of this -i really like animal nitrate -it has a little bit of an 80’s feel to it -it has lots of pop moments but lots of more indie moments -its a little boring for me personally -each song only stands out a little bit more than the others -i also probably wouldn’t listen to these songs again, so its gonna be a 2 star for me

-never heard of these guys -but i do love rock so im already in -this is true early 2000’s rock and i kinda like it -i don’t love it, i don’t hate it -i would probably give it 3 stars just because im neutral about it -i like that its yelly rock

-SO EXCITED i’m listening to foo fighters -i really like this first song -LOVE the guitar in i’ll stick around -good grief is a realllllly good song like duuuuude -dave grohl is really killing it here with this album -like this is genuinely the type of shit i dig sooooooo hard -distorted vocals sounds really cool -this is the first time i’ve heard a song with cow in the name and cow in the song -a solid four star album

-have never heard of little simz before so im excited -i like everything in the background while shes rapping -theres so much going on in the background like with the sounds and i LOVE it -selfish is really nice and chill -VENOMMM i’ve heard this song before -101 fm was kinda slow for me -i do like how honest and real she is in thesw lyrics -overall this album was cool but i didn’t love it and i probably wouldn’t listen to it again so 2 stars

-i have heard of elvis costello but i have never heard the music -first song was nice but nothing special -this stuff is sorta groovy but a little too relaxed for me -his voice is really nice but idk its a little dull for me -the long honeymoon is nice tho -this three day long listening of this album needs to end -town cryers the best and i don’t even super like that one tbh

-idk this artist so im very excited to experience this -these songs are so long -i like the instruments all together -i like the jazzy sounding elements in these songs -this ended up being really great background music for me making toast and dropping it on the floor and then having to toast new bread -not enough singing for me personally

-i have vaguely heard of this band before but haven’t listened to them -loving this first song -THAT BASSSSSS -okay i love how kinda subtle the background and instruments are because the rap can really shine -and i Love the lines in the raps -its so fun and chill -check the rhime is a genuine bop -this album gets an easy 4 for me, fun chill and easy to listen to

-i mean cmon, its the rolling stones -first song was pretty cool -no expectations was kind slow but sweet -im always surprised by the rolling stones idk why -parachute woman has this really cool vibe to it -i don’t love the rolling stones, but i don’t hate them -street fighting man isn’t as good as i was expecting it to be but i enjoyed it! -i do really like prodigal son -stray cat blues is a certified banger -love the name of it too

-LOVEEEE ella fitzgerald -her voice is incredible and stunning -how could you listen to ella fitzgerald and NOT enjoy it -like CMON!!!!! -every song was genuinely so lovely -this is an easy four stars for me, could listen to ella fitzgerald forever and ever

-of course i’ve HEARD of alanis morissette -but idk if i have ever listened to her music -idk how i feel about her voice but i do like the rest of it -i do really like oughta know -I DO KNOW HAND IN MY POCKET -the lyrics are very meaningful -alanis morissette is very talented, but im not really a fan of her voice -girls got PIPES on forgiven tho omg -i have ALSO heard ironic before -overall a 3 star album for me

-these songs are SO COOL -also my first band i had to leave spotify to listen to!!!! -passing complexion feels like a very surreal song -big money is really fun -to me this is ROCK! i really am enjoying this -i like his voice and how eclectic this feels -LOOOOVE the guitar in kerosene -fists of love feels very hard rock -easyyyyy four stars for me

-love some yelly scream singing -feels very hard rock and i dig it -DAMNNN those high notes -singer has got PIPESSSS bro it makes the songs that much better -idk if i would listen to this again but its cool -overall this is a 3 star album for me

-JONI MITCHELL TIME -so excited love her voice sm -court and spark is a great intro song -LOVED help me it was an upbeat nice song -same situation lyrics are so real and beautiful -you tell em joni mitchell!!!! -car on a hill is FUN -down to you is a little too instrumental for me -just like this train is my favorite -is this my favorite joni mitchell album? no but is it STILL REALLY GOOD? yes. -easy four stars

-never heard of this woman or this album -GREAT VOICE on this lady tho -thing called love is groovy -its kinda eh to me tho -real mans got some country vibes -is this music good? i guess? its just not my thing -a bit boring and bland for me -but i like her voice! and the lyrics aren’t terrible! -but this is going to be a 2 star album for me

also have never heard of this band or album! -love a good british band -country song is very weird -it feels like a song trying to make fun of a country song which is funny -these lyrics are WACKY -i do like mad cyril -its all very ooooo and ahhhhhh 80’s music, not bad but not my favorite -this is a 2 star album for me just because its not really my thing and i wouldn’t listen to it again

-never heard of this band -it seems they might be french? -this does sound pretty cool -first song was mostly instrumental and pretty sounds which was nice -sexy boy is a nice sort of chill song -i like the sounds and beth hirshs voice a lot -i do love these quirky sounds -solid 3 star album for me

-have never heard of this band or album -but i like it a lot so far -SCREAMY ROCK!!!! so much fun -LOVE a female lead singer forever and always -date with the night is really good -the lyrics to man are so funny -i REALLY like this album -tick is my favorite so far -this is a solid 4 star album for me tbh -would listen again definitely

-now THIS album and band i know -i’ve only heard sparks and yellow (both songs i love) -i do think some of coldplay is overrated but never their early stuff -dont panic was nice tbh -i do like coldplay and this album but idk if i love it -this is a 3 star album for me, but i did really enjoy listening to it

never heard of these guys -i do like this so far -i like the chill moments from the beats -LOVING cold lampin with flavor a lot -LOOOOOVE TERMINATOR X -night of the living baseheads pretty sickkkkk -i have listened to other hiphop/rap albums that i personally like better than this one, but its still pretty good

-oh no big deal just a LEGEND -mfing patti smith! -these songs are really clever and groovy -idk if this is super my thing sadly -birdland was so long and some parts of it were really spot on but some felt a little dull -overall im giving this a three because i don’t not like it but idk if i would listen to it a lot/again

-i have never heard of this band or this album -frightened was nice and catchy -its feels like pretty average indie rock to me tbh -these songs aren’t bad but they aren’t…….super good to me personally -its catchy and the lyrics are fun -it wasn’t a bad listen, just not for me (loved the guitar bits), two stars probably

-I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOME SINATRA -literally SO excited because i haven’t listened to this album specifically -UGH this first song is so beautifully melancholy -i can’t get over his voice! never ever -loving sinatra in his sad boy era -deep in a dream is one of my favs -i’ve never seen this side of sinatra! (emo boy) -but i am LOVING it -i’m giving it 3 stars because i Love sinatra but this isn’t his best work. and that will be getting four star

-I KNOW THIS ALBUMMMM -AND this band! -i have only listened to american idiot tho -so very excited to have a fresh listen -forgot how good this song is -remembering the cover 5sos did of this song -liking the switch up in jesus of suburbia -i do really like his voice i’ll be honest -i Do know wake me up when september ends -i honestly think the slurs are the only reason this album isn’t a 4 or a 5, but a 3 (but also because idk if this album is that amazing but it is legendary and very good

GLORYBOX? -never would have EVER thought thats where this song is from omg -this song is getting a 4 from me mostly because of that last song getting a green check from me -but also because i enjoyed listening to this album

-i Have heard of the pretenders -her voice is So interesting!!!!! -i really like it -idk this isn’t really super standing out to me -from doing this i have been listening to so much rock/rock adjacent stuff, so this just seems very similar to the other stuff -love LOVE a female lead singer tho -i do really like the wait a lot -overall it was pretty good but i wasn’t in love. giving it a 3

-FIRST RADIOHEAD ALBUM! -never actually fully listened to them so im excited -but im like pretty sure i have heard this first song before -loving the silly voice filtering -okay the national anthem was just a bunch of crazy noises -i hate to say it because its radiohead……none of this has been that interesting to me thus far -i do like in limbo -motion picture soundtrack is beautifully eerie -this is a 2 star album for me, just because it doesn’t stand out to me and it faded in the background for me

-i have listened to SO MUCH lana del rey, but funny enough not this album -first song is definitely not her best songwriting or singing -lanas voice is so pretty and i will never get over it -dark but just a game feels like old lana -this is definitely very chill and laid back -OH i know breaking up slowly -very beautiful song -definitely my favorite on the album -this is getting 3 stars because it was nice to listen to and i like lana but this is not her best album

never heard of this band or album -20 MINUTE SONG? -we’re waiting to do the 20 minute song -this feels all over the place -loving the piano and then the DUDUDUDUDIDU -20 minute song is a little all over the place and too long for me personally -overall this was okay

-FINALLY i got some david bowie -not a huge fan but i love his voice -this is also his older stuff so i don’t know it as well -love is lost feels like a movie song -like it would play during an intense scene in a movie -i REALLY like you will set the world on fire -i’m going to rate this a 3 because its good and its david bowie (and theres some songs i really like) -but overall i don’t love this album and idk if i’d listen again

-starting off this week STRONG with johnny cash -one of my favorite songs ever is by him (folsom prison blues) so im very excited -LOOOOVE his voice -the man comes around is SO great -THE OTHER VOICE IN BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER -so effing beautiful. this whole album. -these are all covers which is INSANE johnny makes them sound like his OWN -god that was SOOOO GOOOD his voice is so good that is an easy 5 stars for me

-i have heard about alice in chains but never listened to them -THIS is real rock like yooooooo -the lyrics are the most hardcore rock out of all the rock bands i’ve heard -and the guitar is real intense which i LOVE -idk if i would listen to this again but i am enjoying it -the songs do sound a bit similar to each other -and for that, it will get 3 stars

-TIME FOR MARVIN GAYEEEEE -so very excited for this -his voice is so beautiful -i don’t think this is marvin gayes best album but i am still enjoying it -the beginning of is that enough is really cool -i do really like this album, the jazzy bits and his voice are delicious together -but im going to be honest, this doesn’t feel like his best album to me personally -so for that, its 3 stars for me personally

-never heard of this band or album -loving it so far -inertiatic esp is really good actually -his voice goes pretty high which im enjoying -this feels like it stands out a lot -you listen to enough of these albums and can tell when an album stands out and sounds different -dude these songs get CRAZIER -i was like who do these guys vaguely remind me of. its MCR -anyways. three stars for me

-FIRST EMINEM ALBUM!!!! -very excited i haven’t listened to a lot of him tbh -all the stuff that i know from him are songs he’s featured on -public service announcement is an iconic beginning of an album -MY NAME ISSSS YUPPPPPP -the lyrics in good conscience 🤨😐 -im gonna be honest i prefer when eminem raps about deep stuff to cool beats than when he talks about hurting women -im not gonna lie. i wasn’t expecting to not like this this much -no hate to eminem but i have heard other rap albums that i like better

-NEIL YOUNG TIMEEEEE -another one not on spotify 😔 -some lovely guitar going on here -round and round is a really soothing song -i really really liked running dry -the guitar parts of all of these songs are really spot on -i really enjoyed listening to this album, especially cowgirl in the sand even though it was so long -having a hard time deciding on three or four stars -but overall i really liked a lot of this album

s this album actually called Snivilisation? thats so funny -beginning of this first song is cool -THE TRANSITION RIGHT INTO THE NEXT SONG WITH THOSE SOUNDS -loved that. it just continued right on -i wish i had duck feet is so real because me too -this isn’t super my thing but im intrigued -now hold on sad but true goes hard -why is there a 15 minute song. why -some of these songs are too long and they’re not interesting enough to keep me engaged

-never heard of these guys but what a crazy album name! -who is yoshimi????? why are we battling the pink robots? i NEED to know more -liking the groove in these songs -okay so there is a whole story with the robots this is So cool -but WHY are the robots evil -they want to EAT the band??????? -omg that scream is CRAZY! love it! -its been a while since i’ve listened to something this chill -overall im giving it three stars

-omg its THE TALKING HEADS -very excited for this -i do know one song on this album (psycho killer) but thats it -this is a pretty short album compared to others i’ve listened to -this is pretty chill and groovy so far -this is nice to listen to but i don’t Love it, enjoying it tho -his voice has this strain to it that i kinda like -overall a 3 star for me

-FIRST BEATLES ALBUM -i have listened to the beatles before, but i haven’t listened to any of their albums in full -also this is the first beatles album i have gotten from the random album generator list -great funky start to the album -one of my very favorite songs ever and of the beatles (blackbird) is on this album (im very excited) -lots of these songs feel silly fun which i like -ob la di ob la da was so cute -COOL GUITAR on happiness is a warm gun -god i love blackbird. its SO GOOD! -piggies????????? was that an OINK? -why don’t we do it in the road?? SO FUNNY -i will has got me like 😭😭😭😭 -okay revolution 9 felt very dystopian -i love when the rating is easy because the album is so good (hasn’t happened that often) (this is an easy 4 stars)

-MICHAEL JACKSON???? what a week im having so far -starting off STRONG -have listened to one or two michael jackson songs but never a full album -VERY strong starting song -this song is with paulie mccartney and my last album was the beatles (love it) -i mean literally who doesn’t know thriller -this song is really the star of the album -i also know beat it but i don’t like it as much as thriller -lots of very popular singles on this album, like billie jean which i do like but not as much as THRILLER -his voice really is something special. forgot to mention that somehow -PYT!!!!!!! an iconic classic -im going to rate this a 3 because its a CLASSIC and theres a lot of good songs here but its not Really my taste

-CAROLE KING!!!!! oh my god what a week im having -start with MJ and now carole king -fun fact my mom HATES her music like fully can’t stand it -carole king is so right about feeling the earth move under her skin -i do like this song i have heard it before -these songs are very good, which honestly i was expecting -ngl her voice is a little boring but its nice -overall this album is good but a little boring for me tbh, giving it a 3 star rating

-i have NEVER heard of this band -the album cover is so different from the sound of the band omg -REALLY like sunken waltz it was very nice -i like this persons voice a lot too -i love the vibe of these songs. its like dark and moody but also elegant -pepita is a nice instrumental track that gets you in the mood a bit -nice little piano track -i liked the latin influences in some of the songs -the beginning of the album was more my thing -overall none of the songs specifically stood out to me and but it was a good listen for sure

-i know this album and this band -specifically because of seven nation army -i haven’t heard all the songs on this album tho, but i have heard a lot from these guys -UGH what a way to start an album this song is a CLASSIC (and also incredible) -this heavy guitar is just what makes the white stripes who they are. its amazing -i really like the guitar in ball and biscuit -some of these songs are misses for me but thats okay -it kinda sucks that i didn’t like this album as much as i was hoping

-okay so i know this artist And this album because tame is one of my favorite songs -i really love the pixies sound in general -debaser is SO GOOD -LOOOOOVE TAME ITS SO GOOOOOOD -cannot get over that song -the yelling at the end is the BEST -oh this might be another 5 star album….. -wave of mutilation is also a great song…… i am in AWE -the guitar in i bleed is awesome -THATS WHAT THIS SONG IS? i know this one!!! -okay but a song about a monkey going to heaven is crazy -this is SUCH an easy 5 stars for me -this album is so well balanced and personally for me, none of the songs fall flat

-i do love a live album so im excited for this -i think this is the first live album i’ve gotten? -loving the screamy rock going on -why is the same song on here three different times. i get it was performed at different places and times but is there a real reason why -these songs are really good, but i think live albums are better when you know and love the original songs -having said that, the songs itself are good from what i can tell -the guitar and drum solos are fun

-omg these were the pink robot guys!!!! -excited to be listening to another album from them -never really noticed before hilarious that the band is named the flaming lips -this album sounds very similar to the other album i heard from them -i also am not as big of a fan of these songs -i remember liking the other album better than this one tho -these songs aren’t bad but just a bit boring -the gash is so far the most interesting song on the album -overall this album was not that exciting for me

LOL -anyways its a good song just like the rest! getting a four stars for me -just because i love music like this and his voice scratches that part of my brain PERFECTLY

-YEAHHHHH ANOTHER ROCK ALBUM -some mf GUNS N ROSES -welcome to the jungle is SO good -nasty perfect guitar in this song fr -i might be messing with fate and the spirits for saying this but i might like guns n roses better than metallica -just because i had a metallica album the other day so i can compare -lead singer of guns n roses is DOING IT FOR ME! awesome voice -nightrain is also really good -omg obsessed with the day in the life we are given in mr brownstone -i am really enjoying all of these songs -overall this is a GREAT album and is getting four stars from me

-YESS THE BEACH BOYS -theres something about the beach boys i just really love -and these songs are so fun -and their voices sound so nice and satisfying -ESPECIALLY when they all sing together -help me rhonda is one of my parents favorite songs -and they used to sing it when i was younger so i have a soft spot for it -its also my favorite beach boys songs -and now please let me wonder is my new fav! -omg theres talking in this song?????? -that was SUCH a delightful experience that is getting 5 stars from me

-never heard of this guy but im excited! -A SONG WITH PHAREELL WILLIAMS? -these songs are cool, similar beat in each of them so far tho -idk. some of these songs feel a little basic to me -the raps aren’t bad! its just none of these songs are hitting for me -the next song has pharrell williams on it which means i need it to deliver 🙏🏻 -THERE WE GOOOO THIS IS ALL PHARRELL -hate to say this. its a little boring for a pharrell feature -but i have to say! one of the best i’ve heard on the album so far -i have definitely listened to man before and its kinda fire -overall this album is alright. not personally my thing, giving it two stars

-okay this album title and cover are so fucking funny -never heard of this band before so i really don’t know what to expect -god i LOVE some 90’s rap i really do -i miss when there were interlude/speaking songs that were short between the other songs -very heavily enjoying a lot of these songs -is this rap i would go back and listen to again? probably not -but am i having a good time listening to this? yes! -i really like the theme they have stuck with here -overall its a solid three stars for me

-never heard of this album or band -kicks is actually a fun song -like i wasn’t sure what to expect from this album and the first song is really up my ally -i do like the vibe going on here -its chill but the guy is singing like his rent is DUE -okay we are popping OFF in not your stepping stone -these songs are groovy. like thats the perfect word for it -some songs are more jazzy, and some more rock which i really like -love that theres an italian version of one of the songs -overall its a 3 from me!

-the who!!! i think i’ve gotten one of their albums before -its very different from the other album i’ve listened to, probably because its their first album -i really like my generation -i know the who’s newer stuff is so iconic but i’m loving these older songs -i also really like anytime you want me -this older rock is really doing it for me -like i am enjoying this so much -overall there was SUCH a fun groovy rock vibe in this album -older the who is way more my speed and gets a solid four stars

-the rolling stones! -am really loving this album cover with the cake and records -THIS GUITAR! really digging it -is that SAXOPHONE? -the rolling stones really pulled it out for this album -and i am HIGHLY enjoying it -am LOVING how he is singing let it bleeeeeed -i vaguely remember the last rolling stones album i listened to enough to know i like this a lot more -the creepy children singing you can’t always get what you want is not a vibe tho -its a four star rating for me rn

-absolutely Love a live album -and BB KING? so excited -his voice is just TOO GOOD! -all the girls screaming after some of those notes in sweet little angel is so real and true -i’m going to be honest i have never been to church but i imagine this is what it feels like -the crowd is so RESPONSIVE and i love it -and his voice? i feel like i am being MOVED somewhere idk where -i literally am ascending listening to this -that is how i know this is a solid 5 stars -wow!!!! BB KING!!!!!!! this deserves 5 stars 100%

my first björk album!!! -of course i have heard of her but have never listened to her music -the noises in the beginning of this song are……interesting -this is definitely weird but im waiting to see if its my kind of weird or not -WOAH THOSE SOUNDS IN WHERE IS THE LINE -this does feel a little like something that would play in a fight scene in a game of thrones type show -like its giving warrior music -who is it is the first song i actually kinda like -this is something i would not listen to again -BUT! it is very interesting to listen to -her voice is very mystical and i like that -overall this is a 2 star album for me just because its a little too strange weird for me Not in a good way

-i have never heard of ABC before -excited to see what this is -oh yeah this is 80’s MUSIC!!!!! -this is giving fun dance music -i really like how cherry this is. fully makes me want to get up and dance -the songs do all sound very similar to each other tho -i do really like the look of love part 4 -yeah overall this is three stars for me! theres drama theres lovely instruments theres groove!

-another white stripes album!!!!! -i swear i remember having listened to this album before will doing pottery -its been a while so i will listen again -this album is as good as i remember it -especially fell in love with a girl. definitely one of my favorites -their songs are always so fun -i always enjoy listening to the white stripes -this album has bangers. the white stripes DELIVER! -four star album for me

never heard of this band -love going into an album with no idea what the deal is -getting a groovy indie rock sort of feel here -i am liking the vibes of these first two songs -I KNOW THIS SONG -alright!!!! what a song!!!!! its such a fun tune -i am actually really loving these songs -this is an album that is perfect for me -genuinely i enjoyed every minute of this album which was So unexpected -i am giving this a solid 4 stars

-never heard of this band or album -another no spotify album which is always fun -oh this is FUNKY i am liking it -i’m going to be honest i really like funk music -based on this song title i think the funk band is about to play rock music -okay but seriously i am loving this song so far -there were SO MANY seriously insane magical guitar solos in this album -i ascended during all of them btw -overall what a FANTASTIC funk album holy MOLY -eassssyyyy four stars

-love back to back albums i don’t know from artists i don’t know -a shorter album which is always intriguing -oooooo i am really liking this -i don’t listen to a lot of reggae esque music and i am really enjoying it -i honestly do really like shorter albums and shorter songs like this -this was actually so much fun to listen to -if you can listen to this without moving your body in some way i don’t even know what to say to you -easy four stars for me

-third album in a row where i don’t know the artist or album -let me tell you. this guy has a VOICE -like so pretty -these songs too are like DAMNNNN -YEAHHH THOSE HIGHER NOTES YOU TELL THEM! -also he looks AMAZING on this album cover -he is cruising through these vocals and SINGING! -these songs are very groovy -im actually enjoying the vibes we have created here -overall im giving it a 3 just because i really liked it but idk if i would listen to it on my own

-i Have heard of elliott smith -but i have never heard this album specifically -this is very indie sad boy music which i do like -i like how soft and nice this is -his voice is distince but very soft -these songs feel very sweet and relaxing -90’s indie is truly the best and this is a good example of it -overall i actually really enjoyed this album! -i had heard say yes before and its probably my favorite on the album -easy solid four stars

-oh dear lord its a christmas album -i’m sorry but i don’t like christmas music -i don’t feel like i need themed music for a holiday personally -also i don’t like this version of white christmas -cause bing crosby’s is the best version. of course -im sorry i skimmed through the songs i do not have the want to listen to christmas music -i really love christmas as a holiday i love the smell of pine and pretty lights and ornaments and red ribbon -i just find christmas music ANNOYING

-this is the funniest name for a band i have ever seen -i have never heard of them or this album -also Such a cool album cover i love their outfits -and this first song is quite nice -loving these country vibes going on -the lyrics to do right woman are a little wacky -the first half is sweet and the last half a little sus -really just the giving a man respect part huh?????? -the instruments in the background are just perfect -obsessed with this love song being called hot burrito #1 -okay hot burrito #2 is not as good tbh -last song is giving storytime -is that an organ in the back????? -you know what. if it is i’m glad. we need to bring back the organ in songs -overall this was an enjoyable album! i’m giving it three stars

-FINALLY some bob marley and the wailers -love his voice i’m So excited for this -im going to be honest im spacing out through a lot of this because its comforting background music -seriously tho i have always loved all of bob marleys stuff with the wailers -all these songs are filling me with such JOY! -overall i did enjoy listening to this -i am tho going to give this 3 stars simply because i have heard better from bob marley and the wailers

-i have never heard of these guys or this album -excited to see what this is like -oh this is real 70’s music -and the GUITARRRRR -i like all of them singing together -THIS SOLOOOO IS EATINGGGG -okay this man is singing with his whole chest and heart -these songs are So catchy and the singing is really amazing -overall i loved the groovy 70’s vibes in the studio today -it totally gets a four from me

-omg another live album!!!!! -never heard of sarah vaughn but im very excited -okay vocals POP OFF!!!!!! -i love the live albums because its very authentic and i like hearing the artists talk -she genuinely has such a beautiful voice -and a GREAT band behind her -i can just imagine myself there sitting and listening and watching -UGH the scatting i love it -okay RANGE! -loved this live album its a four from me

-never heard of dion -he has a good voice that is nice to listen to -so far im not super feeling these songs -these songs feel a bit average to me LOL -they aren’t bad they just aren’t really doing anything for me -i’m genuinely a little bit bored -one or two songs have had some spunky upbeat vibes that i have enjoyed -okay you showed me what love is is kinda a banger -i do like the vibes of lover boy supreme -the guitar is cool too!!! -overall this is a 3 star album for me

-never heard of doves! -love getting multiple albums in a row from artists i do not know -love that its an album from 2000 -these songs are very interesting -like the vocal affects they choose and the instrumentals behind it are cool -sea song so far is very pretty -so far sea song is definitely my fav -okay these songs are getting a little boring -lost souls feels too long -im kind of over listening to this album tbh -catch the sun is the first real not boring song -and its not that good -these songs were really not giving in the way i was hoping they would -but some gave more than others and thats why its getting a 3

-gonna have to say this for every jazz album i get on here……not a fan of jazz really -also im back! excited to do this again -i do have to say even though im not a fan of jazz i enjoy hearing all the instruments -i’m just going to always be a song with lyrics enthusiast at the end of the day… sorry if that gets me hate -i think if i were listening to this live it would hit MUCH harder and i would enjoy it more -its nice background music for my scrolling i won’t lie -the ending of kenya is FUN -yeah overall jazz isn’t my thing, it gets a 2 from me
