Are You Experienced
Jimi HendrixAlways a great album to check out. Not one of my favorites but it is good.
Always a great album to check out. Not one of my favorites but it is good.
Killer opening, love the long track and seamless transition. Classic rush sound of the famous Trio, the guitar solos are more similar to classic rock but still sounds great.
Hip hop classic and recognizable tracks. Influential for sure in style and lyrics as this was released in the 80s.
Basic and simple instrumentals that are catchy. Fantastic intro track. Gets more complex and louder the further into the album around track 3 and 4. The overlaying lyrics is a great touch.
Went into the album blind only recognizing the album cover. Fantastic live album and the dude of course has the voice of an angel. I feel though that this album being so great hides the fact of why it's significant. Aside from the awards, it has the story of the legendary middle finger photo and that San Quentin and Boy Named Sue were both played and released for the very first time on the album live. And even better, this iconic concert, and many of his others, were free for those incarcerated within. Historical meaning and weight of this album is large but just as significant as the music.
Shockingly impressed and entertained throughout
They sampled themselves LOL. Fun classic hip hop. Great closer, kinda funny it ends mid sentence
Blind album: never heard a single song from it. I'm supposed to like this, I know I am. I know this is in the same level as Purple Rain, but the title track couldn't even hook me in. I'm super divided on this and it sounds like Prince in his true form. Credit where credit is due, the sound is classic and the style is awesome. It's just not for me...
Only head of this album and never gave it a serious listen so "blind album"? It was pretty good, definitely David Bowie and the dude is weird but it's got style and he's got taste.
Know the single, not the album at all. It was okay overall. The songs were catchy and pretty good, but not my style and couldn't grab me emotionally like many others. Considering this is the debut, I'd say a very strong start and the Singles went out with a bang. The Ox is a great closer.
Blind album, didn't even know it existed in his discography. Very funky right off the bat and different from what I hear when I think Bowie. Groovy, and funky, and I love it. The 2nd half of this album sounds like an entirely different album though...
Finally, the well known alternative psychadelic Flaming Lips. Iconic album of theirs too, but they ended up doing even better in their next album (*cough* Yoshimi) and is one of my favorites from the 2ks. It's pretty good if you know what you're looking for and what to expect. This album grew on me over the years and is in my record collection as well. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this to first listeners because of this and would've rated this lower years ago, but I can't change the past and you can't control how you feel.
The classic Bob Dylan and one of his numerous acclaimed releases. I don't actively seek out folk music but I've always enjoyed Bob Dylan's (and Johnny Cash's) voice. It fits his style so well and it's hard to dislike any music he has released. Good album overall.
Blind album and artist. Honestly it had a decent start but it totally lost me at the end and I did not like the lead single Juxtapozed. Rings around the world is way better.
Blind album: know the artist, not the album. I don't think I like this album as much as I should. It's okay and I think it's cause I don't like Velvet Underground very much or listen to them often. I want to like this album but I think I'll need to listen to it a few more times for it to grow. OK Computer was the same for me so who knows. I absolutely love the closing track which is funny cause it's the drummer singing. Murder mystery is very cool and creative as well.
Classic Queen, can't hate it 1 bit. Great album overall and is a classic. I really liked March of the Black Queen for some reason, and the 2nd half feels stronger than the 1st half.
Nope. I think the rulebreaker is English unless I feel a lot of emotion.
Blind album, surprisingly liked it a lot like the other Pixies albums... Definitely their style and some of their catcher stuff.
Blind album and artist period it's the 90s I can't hate it but it's not breathtaking.
Blind album, know the artist. I feel like the album is good overall, but I don't listen to a lot of jazz to know what is good and what is great. I will say this sits on that high benchmark though.
Blind album and artist. It's pretty calming and relaxing. I enjoy it but I wouldn't actively seek out this style of music. I can appreciate it for what it is though.
Blind album, only know the artist by name. Surprisingly enjoyed this, and I don't know why either... but not my favorite.
Another grat hip hop/Rap album from the 90s... catchy and a classic
EASY 5. All the Glam and excitement of what Queen is all wrapped up in an epic album. The freaking deep tracks man... Love of My Life is still a favorite of mine. Sunday Afternoon is a shorty piece but great nonetheless. Good Company is like Tiny Tim but all the added tracks and flair of musical beauty. The album is a masterpiece.
Blind album and artists. Creative for sure... but I did not enjoy this 1 bit. I can see what they were trying to do and step away from the norm at least, but this is not the way to stick out and fuse the styles together.
Blind album and artist. It's okay, and that's pretty much all I have to say. Mediocre, as the youts would say... "mid". Electronic Hip Hop and pretty much all filler.
Blind album and artist, or so I thought... I had the first song liked, Green Onions. I immediately knew why I liked it after less than a second. What a wonderful instrumental album with so much funk and good feeling. I can't help but feel happy and jumpy listening. It's bopping and dancy and it will get me moving.
Blind album and artist once again. This dude I think tried to put me to sleep. I did not like this at all. I accidentally read a review that said he tried to he Tom Waits or something and I'm inclined to agree, he just failed. I was gonna give this a 2 until I heard the lyrics "water doesn't give a damn"? What? Using the cheesy line "you're the only 10 I see" too. Just no.
Blind album and artist. Know them, never listened. Nothing much really to say, I guess it's also cause I am not a huge fan of joy division either... See the appeal, it's okay to me.
Blind album and artist. It's creative and calming, just not for me u fortunately. I'm very selective when it comes to folk I guess? Piano is always underrated. I'm glad it's used throughout the album.
Blind album and artist. Calming but nothing exceptional. Coffee house calm for sure.
Blind album, not artist. I also have the hit song liked...? The album is okay. I love the use of strings but the vocalists voice just doesn't appeal to me.
Classic debut into the discography of Dire Straits. More to come and more refined later, but this was a great start and will always be notable for the band.
Blind album and artist. I do not know what to think of this album but it feels repetitive and maybe it's cause the non-english lyrics? It sounds great but I'm not feeling it.
Blind album and artist. Very catchy intro song and a few others. The end of the album isn't very outstanding or catchy like the first half.
I know the cure from their '92 album and I thought they were a 90s band. Woah... guess I don't know them like I thought so blind album for sure, maybe artist? And now I know why I didn't know them or listen to them. Just not a fan...
Blind album and artist. This album is so gitty and happy I struggle to even find something wrong with this album. It's so catchy and fun! I would love more of this, his voice is so raspy, but so pleasantly happy at the same time.
Blind album and artist. What. The. Fuck... this is garbage... I genuinely tried to listen to this and I have no clue what this even is. It makes my ears want to bleed. Good on this band for trying to be different and do something artistic but just cause it's artistic and creative doesn't mean it's good. There's 1 audible track on here and it's not even good.
Didn't even give this album a listen through so blind album, not artist. I know the hit Jane Says, but the rest of the album holds up surprisingly. I enjoyed the listen and the deep tracks. It's funny cause this album was released in the 80s, and kinda has that 80s hair metal vibe but with 90s twist and spice thrown in.
The bold Captain Beefheart... trout mask man wrote a real album. And it's actually kinda fun. I went in blind aside from knowing and listening to trout mask and I love the dudes voice. This album is filled with blues rock and drive. Some of the middle tracks were okay but it started strong for sure.
Classic Album, classic tracks. Legendary for the time.
Blind album and artist. Know nothing of the guy but his name. Good 1st impression and decent album. Apparently I already liked the passenger on spotify??? It's good for sure but don't remember the song.
Blind album and artist, only know the name. It's okay. Don't lime that the 1st album I heard of this artist was a live one, and it sounds like the band recording was maxed and put on top of the clapping and stuff...? Kind of bothers me compared to other live albums I heard.
Blind album, know the artist and the hit song. Quality catchy album I enjoy a good amount
Blind artist and album. The bookending 4 or 5 tracks were really great! Definitely a popular style for its decade, but they really shined emphasizing their instrumentals but also their vocal harmonies. The closing track was pretty interesting for its use if clapping and vocal breathing for a creative effect. Catchy as well. Mid tracks kinda eh but still match the vibe of the album.
Blind album and artist. My mind was blown by this album, especially the opener so young. I loved this as a whole still but I don't think I can call it one of top albums I've listened to.
Blind album and artist. Thought it was good, not spectacular.
Good album and a 2000s classic. It's sad Coldplay aren't what they used to be
Blind album, know the artist by name. It was a fun album at times and a good listen. Fun, exciting, great dynamics as well. Wasn't my favorite but decent and I really liked the last few tracks I'd say.
Blind album, know the artist by name. I only really like 1 track from this album and the rest was okay in my mind. Nothing notable, maybe if I listened to lyrics more it may be better but I prefer the instrumentals.
Blind album. Was petty good I'd say. It's good house for sure. Good house for sure. Good house for sure.
I recognize this artist from 1 song, but this is a blind album. And I did not enjoy this. Some notable tracks had some style in my mind but overall would not recommend this to anyone. The bad outweighed the good.
Only know the artist by name. Blind. Repetitive and catchy as hell. I don't care what anyone says, this was a great listen and I was bobbing my head the whole time.
Blind album, know the artist by name and I totally slept on this banger of an album. HOLY CRAP my mind is blown by the diverse production and quality. This is what I've been looking to find and longing to dig up with this project. It's kind of indescribable and unreasonable how I entirely dismissed her and this album and I regret it from the start. I have 0 shame in saying I'm an almost 30 year old male and this is an amazing album and I would listen to this many times over. My deceased acquaintance, who I knew had amazing taste and worked in a record store, had this album in his collection. I still disregarded it. I have regrets not listening to this sooner. I don't even know where to start to describe it. The instruments, the vocal ranges and backing tracks, the melodies and rhythms, astounding...
Storm: *rolls in* The Riders: *Cue groovy synth solos* For real though, well rounded album. Not my favorite amd not perfect but still very good. Classic rock and would recommend.
Hot take: This is the superior Pink Floyd album. Not Dark Side, Not Animals, GTFO Division Bell, Wish You Here is a close 2nd.
Yeah I can't find a reason to hate this album and don't think I ever could. Catchy, original, great lost of tracks and flow well. The fame and recognition of her music is well deserved.
This album has walked the stairway and will forever be legendary.
Ding ding dong dong ding ding dong dong ding DING
Banger after banger after banger after banger. Drugs and emotion fueled the fire to create one of the greatest albums of all time. Just sucks that the band hated each other recording the majority of this album.
Best of the Stones work and such a classic. Such an epic opener too, and filled with more blues style gives it that unique feeling, and closing with another classic.
Great album overall and heard it several times. I love the Singles and I'm so glad these 2 ended with their best selling album. Well deserved accolades.
Solid album, but not my favorite. Classic Beatles
"WHAT THE FUCK" - Korn. 3/5.
Blind album and artist. Know these hits and that's pretty much it. Solid album, but the Singles are the creme de la creme...
Blind album and artist. Not impressed by this personally and not my kind of music. N. O.
My girlfriend likes to call this the Hard Rock Cafe band/album, and I say it fits. Love this album.
Blind album and artist. Shocked at the beauty of this one for sure. Not a go to and not something I would seek out on my own, but a gem of what I was hoping to explore when starting this project.
Blind album and artist. Big snooze fest in my mind and I do not see how this is special. Tech os first concept album? What's the concept??
Blind album and artist. Album started strong and then just kinda dragged in the 2nd half in my opinion. Definitely middle of the road for me and not something I would come back too. Still glad I tried it as always, that's the point of the project.
Blind album and artist. O ly know them by name and the albums cover. This album definitely grew on me upon listening to it for the first time. No clue how or why but I love it.
Classic ABBA. I know some people say it can get old. And I am sick of the Classics but I can't help but bop.
Blind album and artist, only know the hit 'Alright'. Wow this album blew me away. I was instantly sucked in and I loved it. This album is amazing and I loved the deep cuts just as much as the top song. Hard choices to pick a favorite track...
This album. It slaps.
Blind album, know the artist from another album on here. I pretty much feel the same way as the last album of his I rated. Pretty middle of the road. Intriguing but not my thing.
Know the bad, blind artist. Nothing particular sick out to me but the one song I recognized
Blind album and artist. This was very generic and bland to me across the board that I could not stand it. My loss I guess if I don't feel the same as others but this is just how I feel. Not good.
Blind album and artist. This album makes my ears bleed and I hate it. It sounds like trash and the trash cans it came from were used to make some of the sounds on this album.
Blind album and artist. Just not my thing unfortunately. I loved the title track though
Blind album and artist. The opening track was my favorite and nothing like the rest. Low score from me.
I always thought this album was underrated a bit especially since everyone knows the cover song/closer that wasn't actually on the original track list. The best song is the cover unfortunately, but this album has some great songs as well and worth a listen, especially if you love the 90s.
Blind album and artist. I completely forgot the opening track existed, but I'm glad this project opens my ears to new music and experiences. Solid 4, I'm biased towards those funky bass lines.
Blind album and artist. This was very interesting for an experimental ambient instrumental album... not my favorite for sure but was very unique. Odd and spooky and eerie.
Blind album and artist. Great album overall. I loved their sound and I might've recognized What You Do to Me? Don't know where though. It is my favorite on the album. I wish Satan was longer for sure.
Blind album cause I've never actually listened to it.Beginning to end. Damn it was a good ride
Blind album. Great voice but it carries the album which kind of drags in my personal opinion. Thats what Ella is known for though.... The back songs needs to be just as prominent as the vocals in my personal opinion. It's all repetitive and drags on. It all sounds the same and I just was not into it.
Known only by name and never listened to the album. I don't know how to feel about this album personally. I thought I'd like it more... maybe if I listened to it I'd grow more sentimental and it would be more memorable. But first listen didn't do it for me.
Blind album and artist. Some catchy songs but not above a lot of other dance albums.
Blind album and artist. Pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Holy crap this album grew on me for sure throughout the day and I'm hooked. I'm shocked how much I love this and this is why I started this project. Another album to add to my favorites.
Blind album. Great style and songs. I can't hate Bob Dylan. I love what he does.
Blind album and artist. Had its moments, but the lows were repetitive, and uninteresting to me.
Had no clue this album was on here... glad it is. Well deserved.
Blind album and artist. TIL I don't like Elvis Costello....
Blind album and artist. This album is a trip.... I can't speak for everyone, but I definitely don't wanna go on it again. Don't take me to space if this is what it's like. It ain't dogshit, just spaceshit and that makes it not the worst thing I've heard.
Bow wow wow yippy yo yippy yay Death Row's in the motherfuckin' hoooouuuuse. The epitome of west coast Hip Hop. Next to Doggystyle of course.
Blind album, it was good at first listen. It's Bob Dylan so I can't complain. Few tracks were gems I will say, and the album was good overall. I want to give it a 5 cause a lot of critics would do that, but I can't justify it. Solid 4 from me next to Highway 61.
Blind album. I like faster funky Stevie Wonder more. But this album was okay still.
Blind album and artist. Not enjoying this one and I don't know why... just not my thing...
Blind album and artist. My 2 top songs are also his most played on Spotify. But they are meh, didnt blow me away, and not something seek out. As the youts say... Mid. And the rest of the album was not up to par and bring the album down.
Blind album, know the artist... I know they made huge strides for electronic music for their time, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
BRASS MONKEY. THAT FUNKY MONKEY.
Always a great album to check out. Not one of my favorites but it is good.
Blind album and artist. I enjoyed this album more than I thought for sure. First listen is great and has some catchy songs.
I always thought this album was alright. Not a favorite but definitely notable and worthy of being in this list.
I've never been a huge fan of Radiohead and their later albums after OK Computer. This album was okay and I just can't see myself listening to this one again
Blind album and artist. Very strong start, funky, and fun! Ranges of volume and note emphasis, and strong. A lot of the same thing, but this was fun to try out and I'm glad I did. Not for me overall.
Blind album and artist. Kind of uneventful and not very noteworthy in my opinion. I don't think I enjoyed this very much due to that but it wasn't unbearable. Glad I tried something new.
Blind album, know the artist and the hits. Good overall but not a go to. Middle of the range for this project for me
Blind album. Not his best but not memorable...
This is probably 1 of the few albums I would give 5 stars to without hesitation. It's a masterpiece across all of music in my eyes and a uniquely special album to many people due to its quality, style, depth, and glam. I loved each and every track of this when I first heard it, and still do. I'll also be the stereotype and say Starman is my favorite track. Call me basic but I love it.
Blind album. Am I missing something? Her voice is beautiful but I just can't vibe or get behind her music. Especially this album. This 1 came and went with 0 memorable tracks for me
Blind album and artist. Harp was a nice touch but not enough to carry this album out. Unique in a lot of ways but I felt it was too slow and dragged, and I did not feel touched or impacted in anyway like I felt the album tried to do.
Blind album and artist. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not in the mood for this album or if it's the actual album itself... but it's putting me to sleep and I'm not enjoying it really at all. It's like slow country and it is not my style.
Well I know the artist and some of their hits, but I went into this album blind for sure and came out utterly shocked and feeling odd but at the same time, this album intrigued me in ways and I continued to listen to it regardless. And I'm concerned that I enjoyed this.
Know the artist and the hits, but blind album. It was decent and might go and listen to it again. Right up my alley for style and such. Glad I listened to it.
Blind album, know the artist from one of my favorite discoveries from this project. I definitely did not connect with this album like the other, and that is okay. It was still good but did not have a lot of notable songs or tracks like the other.
Well known more recent prog/math Rock album that propelled this band into many ears to bless them with their awesome creativity and talent. It's definitely a notable one for me and I've listened to it many times. Understand it's not for everyone of course.
Blind album, know the covers and the artist obviously. This god damn album made me cry so much cause I know it was his last album before his wife passed and then him shortly after. What a way to go out. Love for music and his fans. Every god damn track on this album is a gem, and so many of them made me cry. Including the last song. Every single track, cover, re-record. Every single one is so full of emotion and is beautiful. Not many albums can make a person cry but this one made me.
Know the album and artist. Classic Album but I always found there's a clear difference in the 1st half and 2nd half. The 1st half feels stronger and more exciting to me. And I'm being picky more than anything when I say that.
Blind album and artist. Repetitive techno that was okay and catchy but not notable or interesting to me.
Blind album and artist. I'm not even sure what these songs are about or the purpose of them. I wish I could but I clearly the message and the album was a bit repetitive and dragged. Very straight forward and not a lot of interest from me.
Famous old psychadelic album, of course I know this one. Iconic tracks, but the album as whole isn't as well rounded. I love Somebody to Love and White Rabbit, but also the beauty of Embryonic Journey. PS, Starship (the current band with Mickey Thomas) plays an awesome medley live of these hits.
RIP Biggie. One of the OGs. Phenomenal album and such a classic.
I've only walked out on 2 bands' performances in my life. One was Modest Mouse starting late and being so loud it hurt, and the other is Kings of Leon... cause they suck.
Blind album, know the hit and the artist. I saw this band live open for NIN actually. I thought they were okay and I wasn't much of a fan. Pretty much the same feeling of this album. It's alright. Oh well.
Catchy at times, good hits, great flow. 4/5. The worst part about this band is that the singer is such a huge ass. She is so much of an ass that the band name gets lumped in to make a brand new word, but the word still has the same meaning.
Blind album and artist. Know the hit. Pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the listen. Not a top album but good!
Blind album and artist. I can understand the appeal but this just wasn't for me. Not 1 memorable track either...
Blind album, know the artist and the hit. I enjoyed this album way more than I thought. These guys are old ass hell but still Rock on stage too
Blind album and artist. Know the name of course. I can understand the appeal, and I thought it was alright.
Blind album and artist. Not for me. Don't underside it at all...
Blind album, know the artist and the hit. I'm not sure if I'm just in a bad mood but half this album was fin and the other half sucked. No flow and I was flipping between bopping and wanting to skip tracks.
Blind album and artist. Album is alright, but the title track carries the album for sure. 17 minute jam that sounds epic? Count me in.
Blind album and artist. Not sure why, maybe it's the voice, or the style, but I did NOT like this...
Blind album, know the artist. Album was pretty good for 80s which I generally don't see out a lot.
Blind album and artist. Catchy at times but good when would I ever be on the mood for this???
Blind album, know the artist and the hit cover from the album. It was made very well, and had some catchy parts. Wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it though and it wasn't memorable.
STEP INSIDE WALK THIS WAY YOU AND ME BABE HEY HEY! *cue kick *ss music*
Fun album and fun group, and great influence. Just not my favorite, but still a good listen and I know why people like it. It's just not not an album I'll go out of my way for.
Blind album and artist. Album started very strong with the opener, but a lot of the other tracks felt weaker but the same style. It was well rounded, but not something I would seek out
Blind album and artist. This guy doesn't need a lover, he needs to make better music. Not catchy really aside from 1 song and i wouldn't even listen to it again.
Blind album and artist. This is the stuff I hope to find exploring this project. Sounds like punk, but has some sick riffs and rhythms and the lyrics are goofy as hell but it sounds like these guys embrace it and it's just awesome! It even sounds like a blend of glam/Arena Rock with punk in a way and it goes hard.
An essential to punk as a genre and a visualization of the essence of rock in the 90s. Plenty of other great albums came out in the decade, but I don't think this is one to sleep on. Love the opening intro too, it's something I always strive to do after a long day and some good tunes helps me relax.
I never understood the appeal for this album being so good. Its good, but not that good. Kinda funny these guys tried to do an arena tour and cancelled the whole thing for lack of ticket sales. This is an album by The Black Keys. The rating for this album is 3 stars.
Blind album and artist. I was not happy to hear this album. It sounded awful and sounded like bogged down 80s with an awful singer. I spent more timing questioning whether I should actually skip a song than enjoying it
Blind album and artist. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad upon first listen. 1 decent song is their most popular I guess and no other words really. Mid? Am I hip and cool if I say that?
Blind album and artist. It's well rounded and a decent album, some songs fall short and others are good. Piano is underrated and I loved the utilization and other parts.
Blind album and artist. Wow this blew me away. This is a hidden gem among the growing popularity of rap and hip hop. It totally sounds like it came out of the 90s. The beats were fire, the lyrics were creative. I couldn't get enough of this. Multiple hits, seamless transitions, cool skit, creative lyrics. This is why I started this journey, and this is amazing.
Blind album and artist. Got very repetitive by the end and I lost a lot of interest aside from the artist's most popular track.
Blind album, know the artist from his soundtracks. Wonderfully delightful album, exactly what I would expect from such a notable name. Great track list and was very emotional and happy throughout.
Blind album, knew 1 song and know him from Pink Floyd. So I totally see the influences and how it relates to PF, but this is not, and it's different, and some songs were rough, and the hits aren't huge in my mind either...
Volume 4? Solid 4. Not the best album by the band but still very good.
Blind album and artist. It's uh... interesting. Early hardcore punk? Well I'm glad I tried it and it's something new. It's different in ways and rough on the edges.
Blind album and artist. This is one of those bands that my fiance and I would call a Walmart Band. A knockoff of a better band. A store brand band vs the name brand band. Why would you listen to the store brand when you have the name brand? To save money. This band is cheaper.
Blind album and artist. I recall hearing some of these somewhere but can't put my finger on it... I'm sure it'll come to me one day. Album was alright and a lot of the same thing. Catchy at times.
Blind album. I'm here to rate the music regardless of the person. This album had some okay tracks and it flowed well, and the skits were creative. I liked Dark Twisted Fantasy more though and I thought a lot of people liked this more from what they told me. Oh well. Meh.
Blind album and artist. The album had a couple good songs but overall I was not vibing or really enjoying it. It dragged at parts and at the end of me ultimately.
Blind album, know the artist. Didn't expect much and didn't get a lot. Decent listen and glad I tried it.
Blind album, know the hits and artist. Wow this was awesome. Not as good as Hysteria but still awesome.
Red screamy man artist. Who would've thunk they have other albums. JK. Blind Album, open to the opportunity to try something new by the band even though I don't even like Crimson King that much. Well this album changed my mind. Wow it was pretty good! I enjoyed a good amount of this and would listen again. Perfect example of this project and me finding new listening material.
Blind album, love the artist and I've clearly missed out on some good tunes. Great listen and some nice hits within. Would enjoy another listen for sure.
Blind album, know the artist. Snoozefest amd it dragged on for so long. Why was there a song that was all feedback???
Blind album, know the artist by name. This album felt very middle of the road for me in regards to specialty and uniqueness. Not memorable but not bad I guess. I zoned off for this without any effort.
Throw your hands up. Keep rollin rollin rollin rollin. 3/5. Here for the music, not the controversy.
Blind album, know the artist and title track. What a weird amalgamation of synth tracks and funkiness and beats. Very cool and interesting, and this is not something I see myself revisting, but I would totally recommend it to those looking for more synth 80s music.
Blind album, know the artist and the hits. The hits were clearly hits for a reason and the rest of the album does not compare.
Blind Album, know the artist. Wow I was shocked by this album for sure with average expectations. It blew me away. I loved the dark grittiness but it flowed so well and kept me hooked throughout. Still had some filler tracks but I still enjoyed the majority of it. I LOVED the first half of this album. It was a jam for sure. I Don't Remember was my favorite track and will probably make a personal playlist of mine.
Blind album and artist. I've known for the name for years, and this project has presented a prime example of what I wanted to get out of this journey: try something new I have always wanted to try. Unfortunately this won't be an artist or an album I will return to often. Glad I tried it. Too dreamy for me, not my cup of tea.
This is my introduction to Bjork?? The fuck?? Not one of these tracks are in her top 10. Blind album and only know her by name. Her other albums on this list better be better than this... this album dragged so much and almost put me to sleep behind the wheel.
Blind album and artist. I thought the album was very very nice in a sweet way, and I loved Lilac Wine. Aside from that, I don't think I would revisit this often but it was a nice change and a pleasant listen.
Know the album, and only know the artist from this album. Definitely a middle album for me. Not something I actively go out of my way to listen to, and I know the popular track, but also will stick around if it happens to come up. No strong negative or positive opnions on this, just not my favorite.
This band fucking rocks.
Blind album and artist. Wow, music to my ear holes. I genuinely enjoyed this more than I thought. Catchy tunes, great voice, nice chords and progressions. Very interesting but this is not my favorite album by far. Great listen though!
Blind album and artist. It sounded awful and loud and boring all at the same time, and personally would be okay to never listen to this again.
