You Want It Darker
Leonard CohenThe most boring voice ever. Hated it, except for the first track
The most boring voice ever. Hated it, except for the first track
Was allright. Not really my cup of tea. "Help me" is a good song. The others all sound alike to me, tbh.
Only a few tracks bothered me (lengthy, boring, ...), so in general a very good album. Apart from the singles, take notice of "Black man", an excellent funky soul track.
I really don't like Neil Young's voice. But there are some great tracks on this record. Listened 3 times, got better with every listen. Might have to make this 4 stars in the future.
Loved it :) Johnny Rotten can't sing, but that doesn't matter.
Not my cup of tea. I don't think psychodelic rock is my kind of thing. All those tracks sounds the same...
Awesome!
Great, the first time I listened. The second time I listened, it was a bit tiresome. I got fed up with his nasal voice after a while. 7/10
Boring. A lot of the same stuff. Love "Cut your hair". Everything else sounds the same.
Excellent. Loved it
Recording the drunk uncle at an Irish family fest.
Great albums. Feel-good tunes, dark lyrics, some metal influences, loved it.
Mweh
God, I hate country.
Generic rock. Won't listen again
Like it, but won't listen to it again probably. 5/10
Good start, not that good middle. Got boring, but I probably need to listen to it a few more times.
Didn't expect this, but I genuinely loved this.
Great album. Energetic, poppy rock. 9/10.
I don't like his voice, but this was pretty good
Sounds all the same to me...
Better than expected. Nice for a Sunday morning
Love Bowie. Didn't like this though.
Very good in the beginning, corny in the middle. Probably his second best album.
Great album, but a but too much of the same thing. Something for a quiet evening...
Eerie, sometimes freaking weird, very cinematic. Grew on me after 2 listening sessions. Love it
I was dreading this album. The name and the cover implied some country-style rock that I don't really like. But it was actually pretty good. 3.5/5
Sauna music. I can appreciate it, but that's about it.
There are some great songs on this. And then there are some forgetful songs on it as well. Unfortunately, more forgettable songs...
I really wanted to like this. The singles on here are great: Sign o the times, Starfish and coffee, If I was your girlfriend are all excellent songs. Everything else kinda sounds easy-to-forget/all the same.
Yawn. Side B (everything after second Bookends theme) was alright though
Always loved the Andre 3000 part more. Although GhettoMusick on Big Bois album is defintely the best track. 4/5
Boring. Only hurt stands out.
I think I only heard 1 song. At least it was a good song :)
This was a hidden gem
Standard 80s rock. Had some catchy tunes on it, Rattelsnakes for example.
Great trip-hop album.
4/5
Didn't like it. All sounded the same. I do like his voice, but after a while you start to notice how bad a singer he is.
Love it :)
Lots of streets, road, neighbourhoods, ... Don't care for it that much, although I know it's good. Born to run is one of the best songs ever, though. And The Boss remains one of the best live acts. 3/5
So freaking boring. And "Water don't give a damn" is the cheapest play on words I heard in a long time. It's not all bad though. After the second listen I enjoyed it more. Either way: 2/5 max.
Not for me
I realize that this album is filed with misogynist bullshit, but it's very clear this is "his thing". The beats are great. And although I understand most people find them repetitive and "always" the same, I think it's big fun. Loved listening to this album.
Wow, that was intense. Need to listen to some Norah Jones now
This is probably blasphemous, but I found this a really messy album. There are some really good poppy, some less interesting experimental stuff (might've been interesting in the 60s, but I've heard better since), and also some boring intermezzos. If this weren't the Beatles, I'd give it 2/5. But it is the Beatles, so it's a 3
I liked a lot of the tracks, but the same amount of tracks is forgetful. 2.5/5
Yawn
Fuck, it's country. Whatever. It was OK. Listened twice and didn't want to rip off my ears. 2/5
I liked this. Reminded me of the Doors.
What a schizophrenic album. A bunch of different sounding tunes. Some good tunes, some less good.
The most boring voice ever. Hated it, except for the first track
Hate the man, but love his music :/ Started really good, middle kinda stunk, ends well. 3/5
Mwah, it was OK.5/10
Very snooth jazz. I like it, as background music.
Really good album. Did not expect that
When people ask me what I think of Bob Dylan, I say he's a whining nag with a cold. But truth be told, I was really impressed with this album. More up tempo than I expected. Excellent lyrics, not to whiny. Un expected 4/5
I remember this album from when I was 15. Loved it then, still love it now.
There are some stinkers on here, but still, I managed to see the fun in it all. Perfect sing-a-long album.
Rainbows, unicorns, high tall green grass, flowers, so many flowers! How corny can an album be? And why the hell cover "help!"? Whatever, not my cup of tea.
A lot more boring than I expected.
Another boring 60s album. Nothing new
Gets a little tiring after a while. But still, great fun
Happy, good times. Genuinely enjoyed it. 4/5
I expected more from this album. Love the singles of Sault. This album as a whole, I think I get it, but it just do anything for me.
The more I listen to it, the better it gets. What a smooth, sexy, but intelligent album.
Aaaah... nostalgia. 2 boring tracks, everything else is awesome
Boring generic 60s album. 1/5 + time of the season = 2/5
Lyrics: 5/5. Music 3/5
Boring generic 60s album. 1/5 + time of the season = 2/5
Did not blow me away, which I kind of expected it would. The first 2 tracks are incredible, what an opening. But I got bored by the slow bluesy "You shook me". And it goes on like that: 1 or 2 great songs, then a boring one. Even so, I will listen to it again. 4/5
