1001 Albums Summary

Overly long and a lot of the same sound effects throughout the album. If album cut in half think would have been a more enjoyable experience, as some nice songs but a lot of filler and songs that merge into one.

A wonderful album reminded me a lot of the Radio 1 mini mixes I used to listen to only extended out over one hour. You can see the influence this album had on music over the next decade or

A concept album with its heart in the right place- tight production and length but not as many ‘ear worms’ as other BB albums. Enjoyable but in my opinion forgettable.

Not really for me, appreciate the artistry but not my vibe.

Honestly some of the songs sound like they wouldn’t sound out of place on a spinal tap covers album. The highs on this album are great but the lows really drag it down.

Lush dreamy music

Surprised with how much I enjoyed this, especially with Axl’s reputation… Obviously heard the hits but songs like Mr Brownstone were great.

An album I listened to a lot when I was properly getting into music. Loved the band then and the first 3 albums are all fantastic.

Had never heard before, but knew of- would return to listen to.

Did not enjoy, the music seemed to go nowhere and the songs were forgettable.

A grunge classic- ideally a 4.5 star in my opinion but just enough songs I go back to warrant the 5.

Heavy post punk, had never listened before but would definitely give another listen!
