Just too nice and not interesting
This should have been on the main list 4.5
I’m pretty sure my mum played the hell out of this when I was a kid, it is so familiar! Prog can either be good or absolutely awful this is good stuff
Danish and alternative rock sounds like it doesn’t belong in the same sentence but this was great. So far the people who have added albums have done a much better job than the actual official list!

Nice but didn’t grip me
Sorry Bruce I just don’t get you
Just too nice and not interesting
It may have failed on release but this is one of those albums that spread’s influence far and wide. A 10/10 classic
As someone who is an indie music enjoyer the hype on this was massive and I just never got it. It has some interesting hooks and melodies but I never felt it was a good and cohesive as everyone said.
I have never understood why he is lionised as some sort of guitar genius. He’s good but the songs all blend together and nothing grabs me
Never heard of this guy and I live in the town he grew up in! Interesting work I enjoyed it but I don’t feel drawn to listen again
Hadn’t heard this and somehow knew they were Australian. Fun listen

Obscure and British are 2 things I typically love and there is a lot to love with this!
Reminded me of elvis Costello
I saw this and thought ffs who put a joke album in this list. But how wrong I was, annoyingly great songs, a little over produced but I guess that’s the genre 3.5 as the back half drags a little
I was entranced by her vocals, the music was good and I will delve into this artist’s catalog
It’s ok, nice vibe singer has a good voice but didnt inspire me to check out more of their work or re listen
I have heard of ween but mostly as a joke band but this was great!
I’m pretty sure I had this on cassette tape given to me by an Aunt
Almost triphop like. I was in the mood for an album like this so the timing was impeccable
Being a man in my 40s seeing this made me think I would be listening to some generic pop crap, but I was wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed this
On paper this should appeal to me, I’m a GenXer into rock, punk, post hardcore but this just doesn’t quite land right for me. It has some good parts but the whole feels lacking. I will re listen but my hopes aren’t high
This should have been been on the original list!
This should have been on the main list 4.5
I recognised one of the songs but no idea where from. This was good
Too long would have been a solid 3/5 but jus keeps going
One of the great albums they have produced. The best thing about them is if you don’t like this one wait until the next one as they are ridiculously prolific and not tied to any particular genre
I thought this was a joke addition but it is pretty catchy pop and it’s fun. I will never listen to it again though!!
Feels over produced but some great songs hidden below the production
Indie folk and west end musicals are not my thing so this is not my thing
Some occasional annoying vocals bring this down to a 4.5 Unironically great
I generally don’t like live albums and it turns out I definitely don’t like live albums by phish
I went backpacking around the world in 2005/6 and this album was played everywhere and all the worst people I met were always talking about how this was “real music made by a real musician” I always thought it was shit
Pretty good. Sounds like a lot of other albums that came out in the time period but with nice Portuguese twist
Somehow Paramore has passed me by and I don’t recall hearing any songs but this is really good. Time to dig into the discography
Some pretty good songs but way too long
This was one of those major omissions from the original list. Still sounds fantastic and has gone on my regular listening list
The first Zappa album I listened too and still my favourite
I’m married to a Canadian so have absorbed the music of the Hip via osmosis. This is the first time I have ever listen to one of their albums but I knew most of the songs!
This is my submission! I decided to highlight a band I feel is underrepresented in discussion of modern metal. I could have picked any of their earlier albums, as red and blue are also 5/5 for me, but yellow &green is a mature sounding melodic work that exposes the song writing strength and I felt was the best introduction to their discography and serves as a great jumping off point for deeper exploration
This was a flashback! I had a Welsh friend who was constantly singing the praises of this band and I had a few songs on mixtape!
Masterpiece from start to end not a note is wasted, would have been the album I suggested but was beaten to it!
