Dust
Screaming TreesHad never listened. Loved this album.
Had never listened. Loved this album.
One of the best Bossa albums for sure
Very good - repetitive. Can see how it influenced 90s rap
Eclectic
I mean Tommy can be meandering but I do like it a lot
Surprisingly good. Best album so far
Definitely not something I wanted to hear in the beginning. I liked it much better as it progressed. Good use of percussive elements and recording techniques that were more experimental. Enjoyed song structures.
It needed in my opinion more of the Classic Doors sound. While I understand it’s important comeback history and the time period I find myself wondering why this album is celebrated. It’s fine to me.
I can appreciate shoegaze now. But maybe it was the speakers but the noise overwhelmed the music. Good ideas but prototypes of the effective genre in my opinion
I mean. I expected better? Much of the music seemed to be made to be shocking and evocative. Artistically this is great and perhaps necessary. Personally it’s a bit thin. Enjoyable? No.
Honestly better than I was expecting. Pre punk rock and it shows. Great diversity and I dig the fun aspect of the songs
Very surprised at how much I liked this album. Lots of depth and a sense of real diversity between the songs. And see how this was groundbreaking. Great job with the use of subtler elements of songwriting stacked
Nothing really wrong with this album. Will listen to it again. Enjoyed the live aspect. Love how much soul there is in the performance
I really enjoyed how diverse the sound was considering the limited instrumentation. Can really see where Matchbox 20, The Cure, and others were able to derive a clean but darker sound. Kept me interested.
Way more consistent than I remember. Well written with a diverse sound. Very happy to hear that it’s still a relevant album and sound.
It was fine. It had good and bad parts.
Surprisingly loved it
Indeed incredible harmonies and writing. Will listen again
Had never listened. Loved this album.
Honestly I’ve never listened all the way through. I thought it was better than I expected! Loved some of the silliness mixed with deeper messaging
Now this is the industrial sound I wanted. Almost a five honestly. Rex it basically wrote the genre here in my opinion. Very good and dynamic
Man this is way better than I thought. I made fun of it a lot but it really solid.
It was better than I thought. It was not something I’d listen to again that easily but it was an enjoyable listen. His voice grates.
Can see why it’s loved. Lively and full of different ideas. Great listen
Nothing wrong with it. Glad I listened. But also nothing that stuck out to me??
Honestly I was astounded at the soul of it all
Truly painful to listen through. Fuck this singer
Though it was acoustic I really enjoyed this album. Honestly it was just long enough
Just holds up. Very good rap about hard living. Can see how it inspired generations
Man this was really good. Almost a five. I enjoyed the diversity of the album but I could not find something to tie it together. Still. A very good listen.
Wow. I love Peter Gabriel but. This album fell off hard as it went on.
Once again I like the Talking Heads but it just. Started to sound like noise? And it was music but I just didnt connect with it. Don’t get me wrong it’s good but it’s also sort of samey
Wait I loved this
I like it. I think jam bands have their place and I’m glad to hear good call and response in the recording
Surprised at how strangely nothing this was? Not bad but not great either
Very sweet and cool to hear his development. Lots of different sounds here.
Really good but also strange
Very good. Love the mix of styles. Wonderful harmonies
Very very good. Not the best Yes album but still wonderful
Finally listened to this. The good was punctuated by the bad which was just noise??
Man this was a bop for how long it was
So much better than I’d expected. I can see why she’s so loved. Love the classical influence
Had never listened. Updated reggae derived music is incredible. I thought this was wonderful.
Incredible album. Seriously one of the best constructions. Great diversity of sound, wonderful recordings, good structures, and under 45 minutes
One of the best 90s rap albums. It holds up super well. Enjoy the realism of it mixed with the great production
Wait this was excellent. Loved the blending of electronic and pop with classic pieces. Wonderfully composed.
I mean it’s just excellent. Soothing sonic qualities. I really love how well composed it all is as well as the compelling lyrics
Uh this is the best Metallica album. I mean it just hits in every possible way
Actually a good Christmas album. Well put together
Was astounded at the growth. Didn’t know the album, walked away with new respect for funky soul
Nothing wrong with the album. It’s fine. But it’s nebulous.
This is recorded much better than I’d expected. Great fusion of funk and jazz. Had never heard of it before but was surprised at how thoughtfully composed it was
It’s a good album again how much I hate Bono. Honestly it’s well put together and only like two songs aren’t worth listening.
So different from other LZ albums. Love the focus on acoustic qualities. Almost sounds live. Diversifies their sound.
Just way better than it had any right to be to use a JS quote
Man this is the best 90s rap. Samples and everything
There have been a lot of fours lately because all of the albums have been good. Iggy did a good job here. I liked the album. It also doesn’t change my life but it’s just really solid.
It’s spiritual and thoughtful. It it’s also repetitive. Good instrumentation.
The better Joy Division album. Love how it sounds and better writing in my opinion.
Nothing was bad but it was strange. I don’t know. Meta music?? I don’t get it.
Man this was such a good album. Loved the Brazilian bit. The perfect balance of groove metal and Nu metal.
Not bad but difficult to finish. Didn’t develop nearly as much as I’d hoped. Don’t understand the significance. Not bad but no songs I’d seek out again. Disappointing to be bored.
Just a monumental album. Every song is good. It’s melodic and light hearted. Poetic. Love his way of expressing emotion through sonic quality.
Not bad. Really. But many repeating and short songs. It felt full of the same stuff. 15 songs in like 42 minutes. Less development than I would personally like
No one should be surprised. Excellent album. One of the best. Cornell is a good writer and the meter changes are just great.
Gosh this week is bangers. It’s CCR. Every song swings hard.
Pretty good.
This was really good. I’m Not sure it’s a five. But I know I’ll listen again and it broadened my taste. Great mixture of flamenco w European styles.
For its time it’s recorded superbly. You can hardly tell it’s live. For 57 this is unbelievable. Great writing and singing and does the job of anachronistic time travel
After long thinking I felt like this album isn’t the slipknot they would become. It’s very good but for me it’s just not developed into the sound I love.
Quite enjoyable. Better than i thought. I believe that it was almost a four but was quite repetitive
The singles were great. Some of the other really felt like filler to me
It’s Rush
It was fine. I thought it would better but it became a safer album as it went.
Way better than I thought. Gotta listen to more willie. This was incredible.
It’s not personal. I just really didn’t feel like most of the songs. They were fine I guess.
This was really good. It’s REM but this was more early era. I thought it was excellent.
Tbh it was a good album. Wonderful voice and loved the composition. Can’t believe a lot of it was live
It was good. Better than i expected. Good alt music.
It was fine. Something about the Brit’s I can’t seem to get Pat.
Very good album. Driving beat and fun contrast and real and electronic instrumental. Prince knows how to have fun and write.
It’s Skynyrd man.
It was good but it was so repetitive
I’ll pull some songs from it. It definitely aged well and has some bangers but also some snoozers.
Honestly even though it was a lesson I really enjoyed it.
It drones on honestly. Like it’s good but also rough.
Still a very good album. Steely Dan just kills in their ability to write
It’s a landmark for punk. But it’s also repetitive in a way I’m just not too into.
I was surprised but I’ll be playlisting these
Not the best BK album but well written.
It’s repeated in almost every song but so historically important.
It was good. No songs I’d listen to again but beautiful as well.
It was good. No songs I’d listen to again but beautiful as well.
Eh. It just kinda kept going.
Live albums. They’re good. But this one was rough.
Honestly it was repetitive
I will listen again. I actually really like it.
Had never heard of this album and really loved it. Wonderful writing.
Significantly better than I’d expected. Will playlist some.
Will listen again
Tina just kills. Had never heard the album. It’s so consistent.
Wonderful harmonies but also eccentric and strange.
Liked it better than I did during my childhood. Very bluesy. Wry and fun
Truthfully one of the better albums these last few weeks. Incredible.
Never had listened to it. Very good and consistent. Defining for the genre
Still CCR managed to make every song good. I have no idea how.
Honestly while I like Jones the album somehow felt repetitive in its short expression
Man this was actually good. Hayley and I were jamming most of the time. May listen again. Good variety.
Nothing I say can add to a Beatles convo
THPS
Actually very good. Loved the Cuban inspired progressions. Classy guitar lines and good shift in tone
This aged so much better than I’d expected. Excellent album.
He was just fine tbh
Better than I’d expected. Really loved the layering of vocals.
It was pretty damn good. Can see why it influenced so much prog
It was a good album! Political but warm. Good hip hop overall. Wonderful production
Aggressively mid. Could be better. Keeps going.
Fuck this album and especially fuck the guitarist
Great album from my childhood. I miss it. Not as good as I remember but still fun
Légitime a very good album. So funny.
Great live album
This album held me hostage.
Highly political but effective. Loved the jazz elements. Quite artistic but also pragmatic.
Legitimately good album but not what I was hoping for. A bit Samey. Still rather good
One of the better Beatles albums. Not much wrong with it and a cultural touchpoint.
Way way better than any other album I’ve heard recently
Way better than I’d thought. Great songwriter. Varied approach to songs.
foo FIGHTERS
A solid 80s bop with the sad dad as the frontman. Loved it.
Just an incredible live album
Still good but not as good as I remember.
I was so surprised. Best new album so far. Incredible.
I can’t stand this man
So long but still consistent.
I can tell why it’s a classic. Some of it is just excellent.
She’s just the best
Just a monster album released on his deathbed. Almost transcendent in his messaging and writing
Reggae just isn’t in the cards for me I guess
Strange and ethereal. Probably won’t listen again but it was worth the listen.
Just nothing wrong really with this album.
Ewwww. So boring.
All covers and all good. Love it.
Honestly an innovative and well written album. Great voice and writing though sometimes with fluff
What am I supposed to say. I can’t find a damn thing wrong with it.
