Found some new tracks I enjoyed aside from the bangers i am familiar with but overall felt longer than it needed to be. Will need another listen in a different setting.
was only familiar with them vaguely but this was pretty - think it'd be a great summer sunny outdoor album. although it felt like a less-good lord huron to me.
started out stronger for me but got a little bored towards the end. liked it more than I thought I would - had never heard him before.
Was familiar with these but not the name. Will be in my rotation.
some old punk I wasn't familiar with but enjoyed quite a bit
did not care for this - had potential but the vocals and lyrics were weak
absolute fire. short but has all the groove you need in 38min.
Sounds like I’m at an open mic and that’s not a good thing
never had heard of this band but enjoyed the sound on this one. not necessarily my thing but well done.
I dig the sound but 45 min of gospel was a lot
eh the instrumentals are good but his spoken word monotone stories I did not care for
i'm upset with myself for giving this two stars but there is something unique art to it that i'm not discrediting. the video clips on spotify may have been an influencing factor. never had heard of them before this and will never remember them after this.
Starts out with such a banger
Better than expected. Good range.
Very fun but every song is essentially the same
so glad I didn’t rave in the early 90s. just pretty boring.

This album would’ve been forgotten without the titties
Loses steam after Walk of Life
Mehhhhh nothing really stands out other than Song 2
pretty boring - maybe would've hit if heard it in high school during my emo phase
Some alright tracks but mostly dated synth shit
Didn’t realize all these bops were Dusty’s
Like Weezer but without any redeeming qualities
The bops hit. Her voice is incredible. But the rest of the tracks are so boring.
Enjoyed it but can’t see myself reaching for it
La Grange is peak but otherwise I thought this was just alright
I recognize her talent but I just don’t care about this
Great - hard to rate it fairly when I know how much better they’re going to get
Like the live album more but this was still a good one
there she goes is a bop - but otherwise nothing really stood out for me here
if peeing your pants is cool, consider me Miles Davis
This isn’t bad but it’s not for me. The vocals get old. Idk I guarantee there are 1001 albums better than this - feels like some nostalgic shit for the author.
This was an easy one to bail halfway through. Sure whatever it’s okay but I didn’t need to hear it before I die. I imagine the author got laid to Bob’s Yer Uncle and he never let it go.
Not sure what the hype is on these guys
Sympathy, street fighting, stray cat, salt of the earth - all excellent
Otherwise …. Ehhhhhhhhhhhh
Feels like this was groundbreaking at some point but doesn’t quite hold up imo - little boring
came into this project as a smiths hater - coming out of it as a smiths yeahtheyreprettydanggood-er
that is progress
Hadn’t heard of this guy before - but quite liked this
I bet this used to slap when the coke was flowin
not gunna listen to this whole thing
not gunna listen to this whole thing - bad vocals
eh little too much of a concept album for me. "I can see for miles" is the clear and only banger.
Alison is a bop but idk Costello doesn't do it for me
really just missing pennies from heaven
Loved Halleluwah and some others. Some was just weird experimental shit.
thought this was going to be on of those "damn what have I been missing" moments. maybe went in with too high of expectations but didn't find this to be too noteworthy other than the hits.
Slows down a bit too much at the end
Started off good but got a little repetitive towards the back half
honestly thought this was gunna be a hard five -- but it gets a little rambly preachy at times
