1001 Albums Summary

Found some new tracks I enjoyed aside from the bangers i am familiar with but overall felt longer than it needed to be. Will need another listen in a different setting.

was only familiar with them vaguely but this was pretty - think it'd be a great summer sunny outdoor album. although it felt like a less-good lord huron to me.

started out stronger for me but got a little bored towards the end. liked it more than I thought I would - had never heard him before.

some old punk I wasn't familiar with but enjoyed quite a bit

did not care for this - had potential but the vocals and lyrics were weak

absolute fire. short but has all the groove you need in 38min.

never had heard of this band but enjoyed the sound on this one. not necessarily my thing but well done.

I dig the sound but 45 min of gospel was a lot

eh the instrumentals are good but his spoken word monotone stories I did not care for

i'm upset with myself for giving this two stars but there is something unique art to it that i'm not discrediting. the video clips on spotify may have been an influencing factor. never had heard of them before this and will never remember them after this.

The bops hit. Her voice is incredible. But the rest of the tracks are so boring.

This isn’t bad but it’s not for me. The vocals get old. Idk I guarantee there are 1001 albums better than this - feels like some nostalgic shit for the author.

This was an easy one to bail halfway through. Sure whatever it’s okay but I didn’t need to hear it before I die. I imagine the author got laid to Bob’s Yer Uncle and he never let it go.

Loved Halleluwah and some others. Some was just weird experimental shit.

thought this was going to be on of those "damn what have I been missing" moments. maybe went in with too high of expectations but didn't find this to be too noteworthy other than the hits.
