Heard this one too recently, really good example of plunderphonics but significantly weaker than DJ Shadow's 'Endtroducing'. Also didn't seem to click with me as much as it appears to with many other people.

Bar the hits, this album is pretty boring. The scientist and Clocks are undeniably great, but there are only 2 other songs really worth mentioning.

My dad had this album on CD and played it all the time in the car, so this is a very nostalgic album for me. I recognise almost all of the songs by sound, and nearly none by name lol.

Mayfield definitely has better albums, but this is still very cool and super poignant

This wasn't what I was expecting when I first saw this album. Flamin' Groovies implied a disco album, and Teenage Head implied some sort of paedophilic rock. This album was neither, and was quite fun, I suppose.

Very easy to see how this inspired guys like Eminem, which was cool. However, this album wasn't really for me, and I don't think I could see myself listening to them again.

There's been a lot of Americana thus far. This was good, but not stand out imo

That was really cool. I think if you want to truly appreciate music as an artform, then I think it is important to step out of your comfort zone and listen to music that may make you uncomfortable. Industrial and noise music is so much fun, and there's so much more to be gained from music when you can appreciate music like this.

I've loved this album for a very long time, and whilst the reasons I've loved it have changed over the years, as have my opinions of Arcade Fire as a whole, The Suburbs still holds a very special place in my heart
