Popular Reviews

Dookie by Green Day

Do you have the time to listen to me whine? Probably not. 2/10

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra

Can't hate on Franky boy. A joy to have on in the background but that's about it, certainly blends together after awhile

Oedipus Schmoedipus by Barry Adamson

I mean... It's certainly an album. Has its moments of pure groove followed by reactions like "what the fuck am I listening to?"

Jan 24 2026

This thing sounds great. A fair bit of variety

Da Capo by Love
Jan 26 2026

Tried

Play by Moby
Jan 31 2026

Sounds supoer generic now that these songs have been used elsewhere... unfortunate.

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Feb 02 2026

Too quiet for me, didn't find it interesting

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Feb 03 2026

Started off a lot stronger than it finished. Maybe 6/10

Rattlesnakes by Lloyd Cole And The Commotions
Feb 04 2026

Didn't resonate with me. Easy listen but nothing blew me away or grabbed my attention too much 4-5/10

Lam Toro by Baaba Maal
Feb 06 2026

Interesting mix with the Carribbean sounds, however didn't resonate with me 3.5/10

25 by Adele
Feb 09 2026

No doubt Adele has a powerful voice - I just can not for the life of my listen to it after hearing some of these songs a million times. Ads, supermarkets, radio etc. have ruined it for me

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Feb 10 2026

Certainly something I would normally never gravitate towards. Didn't hate it. Don't know if I would listen again though 4/10

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
Feb 12 2026

Think I might've enjoyed this the most out of Talking Heads 6.5/10

Vincebus Eruptum by Blue Cheer
Feb 13 2026

Actually not bad 6/10 Liked how concise it was. Grew on me a bit

Dookie by Green Day
Feb 17 2026

Do you have the time to listen to me whine? Probably not. 2/10

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Feb 21 2026

Surely has some of Bob's best work - Natural Mystic, Jamming, Waiting in Vain, Exodus and the other obvious picks that absolutely everyone knows. Still holds its own. Classic

Porcupine by Echo And The Bunnymen
Feb 22 2026

Tried and gave up

Real Life by Magazine
Feb 23 2026

More brit rock, gave up

Get Behind Me Satan by The White Stripes
Feb 24 2026

Good listen but probably won't return. There are some very low lows in this album.

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Mar 03 2026

I mean how could you not like this. Pinnacle of pop music. Also highlights how important a short concise album is with no filler, banger after banger

Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Mar 04 2026

Couldn't do it to myself. I tried listening to this awhile back... maybe one day I will build the courage to grit through this. I liken it to a blender, tolerable for a few seconds but you don't want to leave it on for longer than that

Space Ritual by Hawkwind
Mar 05 2026

Didn't hate it, probably wouldn't relistened

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Mar 08 2026

Wasn't terrible. Not my type of music whatsoever so probably wouldn't listen again. Relies on quite a few shock lyrics that are a bit cringey and that's coming from a rap fan...

3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul
Mar 09 2026

Gah I've tried a few times to like the album and just can't do it. Obviously some classics on this. Just can never get over the runtime and don't gel with the skits inbetween

A Hard Day's Night by Beatles
Mar 10 2026

Easy listening, surprisingly good. Not much of a Beatles fan 6.5-7/10, pleasantly surprised but nothing groundbreaking for me

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Mar 12 2026

Have to agree with some of the other reviews, feels a bit bland and preachy at times. I don't hate it but I don't love it - a few good songs.

Mar 13 2026

Yep pretty bloody good. Keen to give this one a few more listens

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Mar 14 2026

Hell yeah this was great. Very enjoyable listen although I can't help but think I'm listening to Black Sabbath at times

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Mar 15 2026

Some absolute crackers on here. I feel like they are holding the album up, a few forgettable tracks inbetween 6.5-7/10

Talk Talk Talk by The Psychedelic Furs
Mar 16 2026

More english rock that doesn't inspire me at all

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Mar 17 2026

Certainly not the best rolling stones album... Jeez actually sort of bad at times. A couple good songs to hold is up above copping a 1

I Against I by Bad Brains
Mar 18 2026

Sounds like really generic 80's rock to me that I don't vibe with. It wasn't a horrible listen and at times caught my attention but I don't think I would return any time soon 4/10

Damaged by Black Flag
Mar 20 2026

Not my style but a couple of hits

Rio by Duran Duran
Mar 21 2026

Need to revisit again. Easy listening 6/10

London Calling by The Clash
Mar 23 2026

6.5-7/10 - this one took awhile for me to come around on. Extremely varied but I can find some songs tedious at times. The amount of English Rock and Rambling on this list certainly doesn't help in this case

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Mar 24 2026

Might actually be the first Bowie album I enjoyed. Need to give it a couple more listens to digest I think potentially 7/10

Legalize It by Peter Tosh
Mar 25 2026

Finally something other than rock! Enjoyable 7/10

Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
Mar 27 2026

Honestly just sounds like some dude jamming in his bedroom and not anything fully fleshed out

Dire Straits by Dire Straits
Mar 28 2026

Certified banger. Good variety and some of the lesser known songs are great. Enjoyable album

Crocodiles by Echo And The Bunnymen
Mar 29 2026

Not terrible but not inspiring

Berlin by Lou Reed
Mar 30 2026
Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Mar 31 2026

Can't hate on Franky boy. A joy to have on in the background but that's about it, certainly blends together after awhile

The Blueprint by JAY Z
Apr 01 2026

Not a huge Jay Z fan. As a bit of a hip-hop head I can't help but get excited to hear some on this list. A couple crackers - the opener has a fantastic beat, Izzo, heart of the city and renegade. Wouldn't call it a classic album at all but maybe a couple classic songs that embody the 2000s sound - The Nas callouts are embarrassing too

Remedy by Basement Jaxx
Apr 02 2026

Ehhhhhh maybe would prefer their second album

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Apr 04 2026

Ain't no superstition

Fire Of Love by The Gun Club
Apr 06 2026

Enjoyed this more than some of the previous punk albums. Reminiscent of Rolling Stones sometimes but with a bit of a twang

Heroes by David Bowie
Apr 08 2026

Didn't mind it at all, pretty intriguing. Deserves another listen

Fuzzy Logic by Super Furry Animals
Apr 12 2026

Bad bad bad - can't be bothered with this one

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Apr 14 2026

Fun listen. Enjoyable right the way through and I don't normally like country at all

Kollaps by Einstürzende Neubauten
Apr 15 2026

LOUD NOISES BUT AT LEAST IT'S NOT ANOTHER BRIT POP/ROCK ALBUM

Kenya by Machito
Apr 17 2026
Apr 18 2026

Some great hits on this album. Particularly fond of moons, birds and monsters. Just falls short of 5 stars with a couple of weaker songs

Tigermilk by Belle & Sebastian
Apr 23 2026

Meh found it pretty boring

Live! by Fela Kuti
Apr 28 2026
Elephant by The White Stripes
Apr 29 2026
Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
May 04 2026

Don't enjoy it as much as their self titled but still a great listen

The Renaissance by Q-Tip
May 07 2026

Starts off really strong... super varied but lost me a bit towards the end 6-7/10

Nixon by Lambchop
May 24 2026
Cut by The Slits
May 25 2026
May 26 2026

I'm just wondering why we all hate U2 so much now. I never used to, but Bono just seems like he is complaining in my ear. Is it because he is number two?

Feast of Wire by Calexico
May 27 2026

Nice amount of variety, grew on me

Sulk by The Associates
Jun 05 2026
Madman Across The Water by Elton John
Jun 09 2026

Certfied bangers. Although jeez this is one ugly ass album cover.

Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette
Jun 13 2026

Some classic songs here but agree with the comment that it sounds a bit dated

The Predator by Ice Cube
Jun 17 2026

Some great classics on here!

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Jun 18 2026

Classic, hard to ignore even if everything has been overplayed these days.

Stankonia by OutKast
Jun 20 2026

So much variety. Probably not their best release but hard to complain. 7/10

The Soft Bulletin by The Flaming Lips
Jun 26 2026

Everything just blended together into nothingness in the background on my drive to work

Come Away With Me by Norah Jones
Jul 01 2026

Nice background music , doesn't really interest me though

Debut by Björk
Jul 02 2026

Not my type of music

Jul 07 2026

Memes aside it's hard to deny theat Wonderwall is a tune for the ages. A couple of other good songs in the mix but falls short for me

Jul 09 2026

Felt like I needed to be locked in. Sounds like a bunch of guys high as in the studio thinking they have made the best thing ever

Smash by The Offspring
Jul 10 2026

Lots of yelling, a bit too much as it goes on. Main hits are great though

Jul 14 2026

Great album. Surprisingly knew a lot more of these songs than I would have thought. Well worth a re-listen or chucking on a lazy weekend around the house, smooth soul

Electric by The Cult
Jul 15 2026

Generic rock, easy listening, not entirely exciting

Oedipus Schmoedipus by Barry Adamson
Jul 16 2026

I mean... It's certainly an album. Has its moments of pure groove followed by reactions like "what the fuck am I listening to?"

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Jul 18 2026

Finishes pretty strong, particularly the 3rd and second last

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Jul 28 2026

Yeaaah classic, better with an intentional listening session. Better with multiple listens, always new bits and pieces that stand out and grab my attention

Kid A by Radiohead
Jul 30 2026

Pretty intriguing especially after thinking I would never get into Radiohead. Still don't love the mumbling vocals and not sure how often I would come back to this but worth a listen

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Aug 03 2026

Easy listening, great to chuck on for a spin - California dreaming baybeee

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Aug 08 2026

Not as good as his later entries

I See You by The xx
Aug 13 2026

Really missing the rawness of their first album. Never got into this one as much.

Shaka Zulu by Ladysmith Black Mambazo
Aug 14 2026

I feel dirty giving this a 1 because I was so excited to hear something really different. Just couldn't get into it at all, bland and blended together maybe a lack of instruments?

The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
Aug 18 2026

Interesting but I never fully click with this album. I find the distortion tiring after awhile
