Popular Reviews

Live At The Regal by B.B. King

The more I go through these albums the more I realize I like the blues and jazz less than I thought it did, Bb king is the exception. He is and always was the best at his craft

The Cars by The Cars

What can I say, this is one of those albums where I said "sweet I love this one" and was thrilled to listen to it again. One of the best of all time for sure

1984 by Van Halen
Jul 04 2025

Jump and 1984 are classics. Very solid album all around though, liked pretty much all of them to a degree

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Jul 05 2025

Power of equality and if you have to ask sound catchy but don't grab me, not my type of music. Breaking the girl was right up my alley. Funky monks was typical rhcp. 3.5 stars if I could give it that, not my typical rotation but potentially a listen if I'm in the mood

Moondance by Van Morrison
Jul 06 2025

Never have I heard an album that reminded me of my childhood more than this one, this is dad music if ever I heard it. Absolutely love it 5/5

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Jul 08 2025

Old school hip hop. Decent but as usual, not my type of music. Obviously very iconic and I recognize it is well made music

The Genius Of Ray Charles by Ray Charles
Jul 09 2025

Good album. I consider this basically an extension of era frank Sinatra and just as good if not as iconic. Added to my list

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Jul 10 2025

Straight up did not like this album. I like Sinatra but all fo these songs were saccharine and cringy to listen to. Product of the times and they did not age well at all

Imagine by John Lennon
Jul 11 2025
Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Jul 12 2025

One of my favorite albums of all time. 5 stars for sure lol. Listened to it many many times

Pieces Of The Sky by Emmylou Harris
Jul 13 2025

as usual, old country mogs nu-pop country garbage

So by Peter Gabriel
Jul 25 2025
Jul 31 2025

Some of the songs are extremely repetitive and just not good. Tainted love brings a star and the rest of the album ranges from so-so to bad.

Arrival by ABBA
Aug 12 2025

Would rate it 6 out of 5 if I could. Banger after banger front to back, how did they do it?

Manassas by Stephen Stills
Aug 13 2025

Not bad, but not really for me. Some are more southern rock, others are just straight up country and I hate those. Inoffensive but boomer coded

Fragile by Yes
Aug 15 2025

It's peak

Aug 20 2025

Just really boring, sorry. Forgot each song the moment it stopped playing. Honestly have no idea how it merits being on this list. Felt like it was on the path to greatness but feel quite short in the songwriting department.

Heartbreaker by Ryan Adams
Aug 22 2025

Pretty dogshit with a couple good tracks

Elephant by The White Stripes
Aug 23 2025

👌

Ctrl by SZA
Aug 24 2025

Complete and utter, irredeemable dogshit. just listening to the 3 songs I did was an assault to the senses

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Aug 26 2025
2112 by Rush
Aug 31 2025
Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Sep 02 2025

The kind of album I started this project to find. Gem all around

Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake
Sep 03 2025

Wow this album is stunningly beautiful

Kollaps by Einstürzende Neubauten
Sep 04 2025

When I saw this album on the list I was like "this is going to be unlistenable experimental music isn't it" 100 percent An assault to the senses, I want to start a petition to get this banned and added to the Geneva convention

Rio by Duran Duran
Sep 06 2025
Frank by Amy Winehouse
Sep 07 2025

Eh, probably closer to a 3 but just doesn't do it for me. Earlier female vocalists that she was inspired from did it better

Signing Off by UB40
Sep 11 2025

2 reggae albums in a row? Lord have mercy

Slipknot by Slipknot
Sep 15 2025

The first few songs I thought were really good, 5 stars even. As the album goes on and the songs devolved more and more into samey angry screaming and repeating fuck over and over my score got lower and lower. Probably wouldn't relisten but it wasn't awful, just skip the last 5 songs or so

L'Eau Rouge by The Young Gods
Sep 18 2025

Totally unhinged and I love it for that. Gave me drakengard vibes, unironically based.

Hot Shots II by The Beta Band
Sep 19 2025

Don't know what the hate for this album in the other reviews is about, this is a certified bop.

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Sep 20 2025

For some reason I feel like this album has always been a part of me, must be the thousands of hours on early youtube with in the end and crawling played in the background of every video lmao

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Sep 24 2025
At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Sep 25 2025

3 stars normally, it being a live album and not a particularly well done one drops it a star

Guero by Beck
Sep 27 2025

Huge Beck fan

Vivid by Living Colour
Sep 29 2025
Sep 30 2025

truthnuke incoming, but you shouldn't care whether an artist is likeable or not if they can sing well and write good music. CRAZY, I know. This is a 5, new wave kino. All the people ranking 1 or 2 are insane.

Vincebus Eruptum by Blue Cheer
Oct 01 2025

Meh, bad instrumentation, not great songwriting either. Forgettable

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
Oct 03 2025

Insanely good, this rocks. I have no idea how I have gone years hearing a couple of the songs on the album but never listened to the whole thing.

Wild Gift by X
Oct 05 2025

Took a couple listens to warm up to it

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Oct 11 2025

Best ccr album imo

Fear Of A Black Planet by Public Enemy
Oct 14 2025

It's OK. There are way too many repeats of like 1 to 2 second clips for a minute+ straight which is just annoying in every other song

Live At The Regal by B.B. King
Oct 21 2025

The more I go through these albums the more I realize I like the blues and jazz less than I thought it did, Bb king is the exception. He is and always was the best at his craft

Traffic by Traffic
Oct 29 2025

First quarter I was like "yeah this is decent but then they really brought it home for the middle section.

B-52's by The B-52's
Oct 30 2025
Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Nov 01 2025

Really great album but hearing walk of life 50 thousand times in erectile dysfunction ads or whatever instilled in me a blinding hatred of that song so it's losing a star. An album go download and delete that song in particular

At Budokan by Cheap Trick
Dec 02 2025

Unfortunately it's a live album so it maxes out at 4 but it's a great one

Apocalypse Dudes by Turbonegro
Dec 21 2025

These lyrics are so juvenile it's hard to enjoy the rest of the song

Bad by Michael Jackson
Dec 22 2025

Pretty good but for some reason actually listening to it through was tough

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Dec 24 2025

the 2 live songs were terribly close to bumping this one down. Not beating the Simon and Garfunkel literally just the beatles allegations. As a kid I thought they were the same and I still think they sound near identical, especially this album.

Close To You by Carpenters
Dec 25 2025

Every song is so samey

Wonderful Rainbow by Lightning Bolt
May 17 2026

Everytime I thought it was getting good it started repeating 10 second loops again

Actually by Pet Shop Boys
May 18 2026

Luv me synthpop simple as

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
May 19 2026

Too many skits and songs about dick and balls for my liking. The melodies are great, lyrics are lacking

Electric by The Cult
Jun 08 2026

this ain't it chief

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jun 09 2026

first half of the album is certainly weaker than the latter half, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Halcyon Digest by Deerhunter
Jun 10 2026

Ween lite, but I love ween so I enjoyed this

Unhalfbricking by Fairport Convention
Jun 11 2026

0 chance this deserves on a top 1001 albums, clear English bias as usual but it is to my tastes

Jun 13 2026

One of the greatest albums of all time. Also the fallout new Vegas song. I also generally don't like country so this one is outstanding

Triangle by The Beau Brummels
Jun 15 2026
Brothers by The Black Keys
Jun 16 2026
Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Jun 23 2026
Hejira by Joni Mitchell
Jun 25 2026
Boston by Boston
Jun 27 2026

Boomer kino

Queens of the Stone Age by Queens Of The Stone Age
Jun 29 2026

On first listen I was lukewarm, but I had a gut feeling this was an album that would take another full listen to get a real idea of how good it was, I am glad I did. This album is great, it just rocks with repetitive melodies that are done extremely well and it is simply fun to listen to.

Penance Soiree by The Icarus Line
Jul 01 2026

Just noise, and not the good kind

Graceland by Paul Simon
Jul 04 2026

I'm more of an S&G guy but this tried something new and pulled it off pretty well, not really my thing exactly but it is good music I will admit.

Jul 05 2026

This album is split between songs where he croons on nasally, and more laid back slightly less folky songs that don't assault my ears. The latter half are great, the former are terrible. Maggie's farm, Outlaw blues, Bob Dylan's 115th Dream are just bad Gates of eden, it's alright ma are somewhere in the middle She belongs to me, Mr Tambourine Man, Love minus zero, it's all over now, baby blue are good.

Electric Music For The Mind And Body by Country Joe & The Fish
Jul 06 2026

This whips, listening to Bob Dylan from the same era right before this was quite the contrast because this does the electric music thing that album was kinda sorta leaning into 1000x better. Not even slightly hiding the drug influnces in this one lmao. Underrated

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Jul 07 2026

Not a huge fan of reggae but this was a very enjoyable listen

Sweet Baby James by James Taylor
Jul 08 2026

Had to turn on edit mode for this one. Initially it was 1 star after hearing steamroller but some of the latter songs in this album are decent. This is like a warm blanket of an album, very bland though but not unpleasant (except steamroller that song is laughably bad)

Henry's Dream by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Jul 09 2026

Rounding down to 4 on this one. An acquired taste apparently reading the other reviews

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
Jul 10 2026

Half the album isn't rap, the stuff that is is ok, a bit cheesy though. Just give me public enemy any day of the week over this

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Jul 11 2026

Lovely background noise, good to work with

The Yes Album by Yes
Jul 13 2026

More of a fragile or close to the edge fan, this one is not prog rocky enough for my liking tbh

The Cars by The Cars
Jul 14 2026

What can I say, this is one of those albums where I said "sweet I love this one" and was thrilled to listen to it again. One of the best of all time for sure

I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen
Jul 16 2026

This gives me the ick

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Jul 19 2026

I like the it I think I might have voice blindness because every time I hear 60's/70's English vocalists I'm like "woah its Greg Lake" and then I look it up and it isn't Greg Lake. Guy who has seen Boss Baby type thing

Punishing Kiss by Ute Lemper
Jul 20 2026

Didn't finish, this is boring as sin muzak, who listens to this outside of a law firm lobby?

Shleep by Robert Wyatt
Jul 22 2026

Discordant weird nothing album, and not in a good way.

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Jul 23 2026
Beyond Skin by Nitin Sawhney
Jul 24 2026

I have fatigue, is that racist? I'm not sorry and it will happen again. Couldn't finish this but it wasn't unlistenable I suppose

In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly
Jul 26 2026

Deep purple but not memorable in any way. In a gadda da vida was good for 2 minutes but then went on for 15 more

The Velvet Underground by The Velvet Underground
Jul 28 2026

I like the banana album better, but this one is great too. Velvet is the perfect word for this sound, this is just a comfortable listen.

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Jul 29 2026

I think they're overrated personally

Felt Mountain by Goldfrapp
Aug 01 2026

Pretty awesome. More of these please

Leftism by Leftfield
Aug 20 2026

Just couldn't get into this one. Not sure what they were thinking with this on the list
