1001 Albums Summary

I knew Rikki Don't lose that Number already. Night by Night was good. Really liked the horns there. AMDWTY kind of just sounded like every other SD song. East St. Louis has a great first 30 seconds, I like the beat. Not so much when the next phase starts. Parker's Band was good. Again just generic SD sound imo. Through with Buzz was eh Really liked Pretzel Logic (first min kinda slow, guitar was needed). With a gun was a nice change for song 9. Not an amazing song though. Charlie Freak good piano. Eh singing. Monkey in your soul mid. Good horns though.

Tiger in your Tank got a little repetitive by the end. I Feel so good is nice Big fan of when goodbye newport blues came on, great vibe switch

Saw this album pop up and smiles. Never actually listened to the entire thing though. Excited to listen. the start of the song Band on the Run is great, and to start an album like that is even better. Wow, album kinda falls off ngl. I liked Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five Going in for second listen through. Only songs that even stood out to me were Bluebird, Mamunia, Picasso's Last Words and 1985. Starting album again. OFC band on the run and Jet are great. Instruments on bluebird are good, lyrics are eh

Coming into this, I only know White Rabbit. And I love that song. Excited to hear rest of the album. She has funny cars: Marty Balin's vocals remind me of Somewhere they cant find me by Simon & Garfunkel. Hearing Grace Slick come in on a song other than White Rabbit was very cool. Excited for rest of album. OK yes I know Somebody to Love. No clue why I didn't recognize that. White Rabbit is still my favorite though. Big fan of In The Morning. The middle of the album sounded like a mix of S&G and the Beatles. Going for listen 2 now

Definitely caught me off guard switching to Homelands from first 2 songs. I like Pilgrim NOT a fan of Nadia. Cannot remember the song, but the one with all the piano was beautiful. On second listen, it was Tides Not a fan of serpents, especially from 2:30-3:30ish Def not a fan of The Conference.

wow! Not a fan of Child in Time! Too much wailing at the start. Not a fan of Hard Lovin' Rest of the album was pretty good. Nothing amazing, nothing horrible.

5 seconds in my head is already bopping. Good Beat really reminds me of Groove is in the heart. Ok, well now I know why it reminds me of Groove is in the heart.

Guitar in the first 2 minutes of the album is amazing. If this continues across the album I will be rather happy. Ooh those first lyrics were oddly timed and spoken. Odd vibe switch on next few songs. Super Stupid is good. Not a fan of the beat on Back in our minds Hit it and Quit it has odd background vocals. yo what the fuck is the end of wars of armageddon Couldn't get through second listen. Back In Our Minds has such a horrible beat.

Complete Banger. I know more than half these songs already.

Good Album. Nothing notable nothing bad. Only song that made me feel a little off was Poughkeepsie. Rest of it was nice to listen to. A little slow for me though.

Guitar to start the album was very nice. Sega - not for me! Maked me want to rip my eardrums out! Following it up with Amandrai is like punching someone in the face and then kissing them after. Welp, at least the first 7 minutes of Amandrai. Not a fan of Keito either. Banga sucks too. I have to stop the album I can't keep going. It sucks because the guitar in the first 5 mins of the album was great.

I thought I wasnt gonna like this after song one. Pleasantly surprised. Mental had a weird ending though. Good guitar, but the other instrument/sound was odd, especially to go from that into the piano on spunky.
