Pretty good! not generally a fan of live albums but this one was nice. The parts where Cash was interacting with the crowd and the overall vibe of it made it a nice one-time listen
amazing, really good, I likE i LIKE
Had a couple good tracks for sure, but the rest was average-bad
Eh
Not my thing, Navy was almost good
Not bad not great, Heroin was good
Chelsea Girls went on so long that I thought I had died and been put in a hell where I had to listen to Chelsea Girls on loop forever
Really like yes yes Kate bush very good
Questionable man solid album
Good album, not one I’d go out my way to listen to again but overall nice
Good album! didn't leave a massive impression on me tbh but don't have anything negative about it either
Insane album, every other song I caught myself thinking "oh it's from this album?". Only reason it didn't leave even MORE of an impression is because I've heard the individual songs used on popular media so often
RIDERS OF THE STOOORM
Good! I Zimbra goes hard and the rest of the album is pretty good too
First song was good, rest was eh
Family tree and lovers day were so gooood
Cool name tbf
no hallelujah 0/10
Good but not really my thing
boopyboopyboop
a lot of the album was samey, but loved The Ocean and Born Under A Bad Sign
Call me tarzan the way I love jungle
hot buttery and pretty good to listen to
I'm a wee bit bias on this one because it was already an album I loved and I have a huge nostalgic attachment to it through my parents, still a banger tho B)
I like! solid album, no real 'stand out' tracks but the that's partially because the whole thing was just a nice listen
Man sometimes I wish I was a Billion Dollar Baby
This album feels like its from a universe where Weird Al Yankovic invented rap
Not usually a jazz fan but Thelonious Monk is a sick name and this album was pretty great
Somehow this album has only gotten more relevant over time, also ‘when September ends’ makes me go wah wah :(
i like i like yes yes
Hell yeah
nice little album, never got Neil Old
PAWKLWYFE!!
I like I like, criminology and heaven & hell were my fav. It went on a bit long for my taste tho
Feel like I wanted to like this album more than I did, Just like Honey and Taste of Cindy were great and the rest of the album was pretty solid but just never really took off for me idk
This was my least favourite album so far, as such I could not settle on one negative review and have instead written several-
-This album makes me feel like I'm a german teenager in the 1980s discovering myself in a warehouse basement somewhere in Düsseldorf; and I hate it
-I can very much see the appeal of industrial music unfortunately I can't hear it
-ouch oof ow my ears aaaarrrghhhhhhhhhh
honestly would be a 2 if it weren't for Jean Genie.
Not bad, overall stronger album than L.A. Woman
BREAKING DA LAW BREAKING DA LAW BREAKING DA LAW
Meh
I liked it enough, but kindda felt like a gorrilaz bside album
I am also tired of the USA
Probably a 4 on a relisten
I hate!
There’s a documentary I remember watching when I was younger about this woman who gets lost on a snowy mountain and has to survive for weeks on end by eating ice and foraging what she can from the surrounding area (which was basically just more ice), she finally gets saved by a trucker who happens to be passing by and because she looks so visibly malnourished he gives her an old orange he was going to have for his lunch and to her it tastes like the best thing she’s ever eaten because for the last week she’s basically eaten nothing that’s actual food.
Anyway since the last album I got was a solo Morrissey album listening to Illinois by Sufjan Stevens was a real treat!
I liked it but not really something I'd seek to relisten
I liked it more than I thought I would!
I like bob dylan but not this album so much
Was a two until In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida came on at which point I was like "oh shit indagaddaavida-noway"
Never heard of her tbh but I see bright things in this young lady’s future!
Eh
Man I love changes and life on mars but I really didn’t mesh with the rest of the album
Damn this album was just non stop bangers, might even be a 5 on a relisten
Really enjoyed the first two tracks, rest of album was a bit meh
I really wasn't expecting much from the first song but by the end I was really invested in the narrative being portrayed. Doesn't have a single song that I'd listen to on its own but as a whole the album made me feel things, the moment where Mike finds the money behind the tv really brought it full circle in a way that was super satisfying
eeeh
Changes good
"Hotel California" the song by the Eagles is a banger, "Hotel California" the album by the Eagles I am less a fan of
Would be higher if it wasn't a live album
Pretty nice
Monkmonkey
I kind of wanted to like it more but was still good!
Cheesy
Mmmmm prog rock my most middle favourite genre
I wish I had windmills in my mind
This album is like if a panic attack was boring
Somehow listened to the entire album without realizing, like I can't remember a single song hahaha
Solid 3, god only knows goes hard
ehhhhh
Like if the 80s had a fart
most of album 2/5, Sultans of swings 4/5
my least fav Beatles album, for me it's all the worst Beatles song writing tendencies condensed in one album. with that being said it has A Day in the Life which is probably my favourite Beatles song, so that bumps it up a lot
Ehhhhh
First two songs slapped
Fart
Mmm yeah I like I like
Nice
Hmmmm not bad
You know what I didn’t mind it
very chill, good little album to have in the background!
I love love lovveee this album. tbh I've already been a massive fan of thundercat but I hadn't listened to this in a while and its just so good.
It feels like your just hanging out with a friend while they're jamming but in the best possible way
a nice album to have on in the background
pretty nice
I mean yeah sick album obviously, I think its a high three for me almost a 4
One of my all time favourite albums! never found any music ambient or otherwise that relaxes me as much as 1/1 does.
pretty good! had a nice vibe to it but the singing didn't really do it for me, not bad but not what my brain wanted
I liked it but don’t have much to say.
vibes
eeeeeeeeeeeeh
sick album, sweet child of mine is an all timer
has a few tracks I LOVe
Bababababaaa
Overall just a really nice listen, our house is such a banger
I don't think I've ever listened to an album that has been so benign yet has made me so genuinely annoyed. And to top it off there's no Crazy Horse anywhere in this stupid album! or even anything that has the ENERGY of a Crazy Horse. Total disappointment
kind of a mid smiths album but still pretty darn catchy
ehhhhhhhhhhh
yeah
Good kinda forgettable
I think I wanted to like this one more than I did haha
smooth and nice and smooth
just kind of boring
this album slapped! never listened to Arcade fire before but I love the texture of their sound
Pretty goodd
i thought it was nice
Really complicated thoughts on this album. its obviously super influential and musically/technically great but equally the meaning behind a lot of the songs really grates on me
Nicee
eh
This album is like if milk could sing
alright
yeah yeahyeah
funky and good
boring snoring
