If there's one realisation I've come to whilst undertaking this list, it's that no matter how hard I try to like them, these highly-rated pop rock albums are really not my thing. There's nothing on this that's overtly bad or unlistenable but the emotionless vocals and overly clean, polished production lead to the album as a whole feeling dull and, at risk of using buzzwords, corporate. The kind of album you tolerate while it's playing and then immediately forget everything you've just heard.
